    It was? Nice. Definitely didn't look for it Lol Real world, a couple of Hooks with full robbie tanks will land. A couple more hooks with personnel and equipment. Set up a FARP. Then tear it down when empty. Crazy. Would not mind simulating that at all.
  2. The -60 is actually more difficult to fly. It's one of the only birds that's full IFR rated. Yes, without SAS, it's a pain. Been on several flights with new pilots and they disengage SAS1, SAS2, trim, FPS, and boost for EP training. Very bumpy ride. It just makes it more difficult. Once you're in the air and have speed, it's fine. Landing is a pain in the ass though. A lot of it might be alignment. If you're in trim when landing and have any cross wind, you'll be landing croaked. You'll hit with lateral movement, due to being in trim, and you're bird will want to correct instantly to the direction you're in trim. That could definitely cause a dynamic roll over. Maintain in trim until just prior to touchdown then brind it to runway alignment. This is all from real aircraft and real life experience. I served as a Blackhawk crewchief for a little over 12 years. I am intimately familiar with the aircraft.

    So, with the Hook being dropped now, any chance that ED will make the Fat Cow available to be used with the invisible FARP? Set up a random FARP in Syria, Sinai, or the Afghan map when that drops.
  4. Tail wheel should only be unlocked for taxi. If it's unlocked and you touch down, when you lower collective, the lack of torque will swing the tail around. Any kind of slope, locked tailwheel. I might of had a handful of landings with the tailwheel unlocked and those were not on purpose.
  5. It's the BVR mode. Can't pick up jack on radar in BVR mode. Bore sight mode, no problem, but that's only 10 miles. Kinda defeats the purpose of all these long range missiles if they can't be used at long range.
  6. I just tried to use the AIM-260 on the Raptor and it was not working. I had it loaded in the center bays but nada. Hell, my radar couldn't even pick up the enemy birds.
  7. Might not be the right spot but going to ask anyway. The CFT mod. Love it! However, on the 3 colors to choose from, one looks like a weird green digital color. Has anyone else seen that or did I screw something up on install? Would love a desert camo like the Israeli F-16's have in the game for the CFT's.

  9. Ahhh...So, ACTION: FLAG ON; FLAG: 98 just means turn on FLAG 98. FLAG 98 doesn't have anything preassigned to it. It's just a name the mission designer chose. I can pick any number for a FLAG name pretty much?
  10. So, what is FLAG 99? Or FLAG 60? Or 51, 98? There's one mission I'm kinda tweaking and it has a bunch of random flag numbers. Are those numbers in seconds or does each flag mean something specific? Like, FLAG 99 mean xyz while FLAG 60 means abc...I can find nothing that truly explains what the different flags are.

  14. For some reason my HTS pod isn't picking up jack...I dropped a screen shot down below. HTS pod is on via the left chin station. HARMs are powered on, and they are picking up the SAM, as you can see below. My RWR is picking up the SAM, which you can also see by the semi cutoff "3" on the RWR display. For some reason, the HAD display isn't working. I did narrow down the threats to class 2 since I know it's a SA-3 out there with a P-19 SR. Did I miss something?

  19. What?? I can't put a fuel tank there?! Well, there go my plans...This has been for nothing!! Are the PFM's still in the files in places?

  21. So, if that's the case, the only way to truly get more pylons/weapons is to go into the modeler and add more pylons/connectors... Still can't get fuel to increase. Could that be a modeler based issue as well?
  22. It seems like it's the same LUA. I'll try changing one and copy/paste the others. We'll see what happens.
  23. I actually got the 5 digits after pylon, that took forever to figure out and FOREVER to move something around to just the right place. One digit then restart the game....UGH!! I noticed that there are multiple LUA's scattered throughout different files. Do I need to update all of them?
  24. I think I found out what it was...Fuel. Too much fuel. If I set the M_fuel_max to what the aircraft is supposed to be in real life, I think it spazs the bird...Still tweaking though. Does the modeling of the aircraft also dictate how much fuel it can hold? As in, it's modeled to hold only X amount of fuel but you tell the LUA it can hold Y amount of fuel. Am I even close on that? It only lets me put in 11,000lbs of fuel internally. However, I'm trying to get it to hold 13,759lbs, which is what the bird holds in real life. Even bringing up the refuel menu, tops off at 11,000lbs, not including drop tanks. Obviously it can hold more but internally, it's off.
  25. Well darn. Definitely wish it was easier to test. I made a bunch of tweaks but didn't test as I went along...Now it crashes when the bird hits 63% and main generators want to kick on. Had to start over with a clean LUA and doing one thing then testing...One more thing then testing...Gonna be awhile...
