If your talking about paramotoring, it is not that practical, you are right. But for pure paragliding (the one with no motor backback), I cannot think of any simpler way to fly. Just the wing, the harness and your helmet is what you need. And for pulling G's, believe me there are a lot of high G maneuvers. But , covering miles riding on the thermals is like nothing else...

Guys, try paragliding... I am really admiring those guys flying real jets but my medical condition is not ok for being a jet fighter pilot. But I am into paragliding for quite some time. Of course it is not like being in a jet cockpit but believe me you really feel that you are flying... Climbing thousands of feet thru thermals with a motorless aircraft is amazing... So far, I believe that paragliding is the simplest, easiest and most practical way of flying... Check these videos, and see what you can do in paragliding...

How much ram is good for a10? I have 4 gigs of rem, do you think increasing rem to say 8gb will have an important effect?

But seriously, think about the current situation in Irak or Afganistan after all "operations of liberation and freedom" of US and find out whether these operations are made for freedom, safety or political interests... I have the same monitor, and playing even A-10c at 2560*1440 with ati 4870. Can it be related to Windows? I dont think that it should be a monitor issue...

At first, I also hassitated whether to buy TrackIR. After a couple of hours, I got used to it. It is a must for any sim. I cannot do without it in any sim. I sometimes try to pan or zoom the view in Youtube A-10 videos, as if I had my TrackIR operating on Youtube videos:)

I had the same problem, can you tell once more how to overcome this? What did I miss in the HUD?

I have never flown a paramotor, I dont like motorized paragliding. It should pure be flying with sun's cheap energy:) For paramotors, going cross country is not a big issue. Because of the engine type, you have to mix some lubricant to gasoline. You can carry some lubricants within your backpack, land near a gas station, fill up and keep flying. The world record for paramotors is I guess around 1.300km or something...

I fly paragliders regularly... I must say that the curver are less linear on low level wings but more linear on higher level or acro wings... I know I know, paraglider is not an airplane or jet:)
