Paragliding (summer and fall), mountain biking (spring), scale modelling (winter mostly) and of course DCS stuff (anytime wife permits) :)
-
In my country, altitudes above 5.000 meters (not feet) are common with paragliders. My personel altitude record is 3.500 m. So going higher is more related to thermals, and the type of the aircraft (of course you can climb up to 15.000m in a wave with a sailplane but not so common I guess:) ). Safety is another issue, I would agree on that most of the times, but not always...
-
I would also recommend paragliding... Much easier to master than sail planes. Alps are very suitable for paragliding...

When he says "Turkiye", what do you understands? Does really matter if it is TUrkey or Turkiye? Come on man, relax, this is just a forum for info sharing and mostly entertainment and we are not posting for a legal institution with strict legal codes and writing. Dont be too judgemental.. Just relax and enjoy...

Is this single player compatible?

Thanks for the info guys... I just finished the mission by eliminating five of the HQ vehicles with gun. As soon as I shoot one of them, the others moved a bit and than stopped. In fact, in order to complete the mission, one does not need to contact JTAC for target info. Just steer towards HQ waypoing, kill the five trucks and return to base:)

Any ideas?

In the Georgian Hammer Campaign, the objective of the 3 rd mission is to destroy a command center unit 5 miles to Ozurgeti (which is a waypoint in the missinn). There are also some JTAC units and some other friendly CAP, CAS, SEAD etc units in the mission. The place where it is supposed to have some enemy HQ units, there are some trucks or BTRs (I dont really know what they are but they are easy to destroy with gun). Anyway, I detroy those trucks in HQ waypoint but I cannot complete the mission. I talk to JTACK guys, and Darknight gives a very stupid location which is miles away (the current map location is grid GG but where darknight directs me is somewhere on KM grid). Is there something wrong with this mission? Or what am I doing wrong here?

I have been learning A10c for sometime and I didnot know there was a wind correction function in the game. Thanks for the step-by-step guide...

I have a question: A 10C has no radar, so how does it recognize and give us a warning that a missile is launched? I can understand it can detect from emissions that the enemy radar is painting us but how can it track (or at least know) that a missile is launched?

Congragulations, wonderful news:) By the way, are you sure he is 50 inches:)

How would they work if they were acting like flight directors? Should they also show the deviation from the course line in mission?

I am sure it is asked many times but I was not able to find a solution to my problem: For CDU offsetting; *I change the CDU to offset page (no problem) *With the + or - rocker key, I select the Bullseye (no problem) *I get the coordinates from the ATAC or the AWACS in UTM formate, ie HHHDDD (no problem) *I change the CDU coordinate format to UTM (no problem) *I enter the given coordinates in UTM format in HHHDDD style (no problem) *I make a way point, ie increase the waypoint number to a higher number (no problem) *I select the "mission" from the knob below (I dont know its name) (no problem) And finally, I select that newly created waypoint from the HUD and try to acquire the target. However, the targets range is generally indicated as 800 sth miles:) What am I doing wrong? I guess the problem is related to entering correct area on the map in UTM. But how will I know the correct sector? The AWACS only gives locations heading and range with reference to the Bullseye but he does not mention about the UTM sector... By the way, I have another question: How will I know if I completed the mission or not? For instance, I just played the "Midnight Train to Georgia (or sth like that) mission and when I contacted JTAC, he said there was no furhter tasking available, even though I did not shoot anything or got any tasks. Did other mission elements destroy all the targets?

Flight Qualifications Campaign

How do I install these missions? I installed modman 7 but it has no DCS:A10C. The files are downloaded as .man files but not .miz files... -
Multi-monitor set-up guide & help (unofficial)
airea replied to MadTommy's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I have only ywo monitors and I was running the left MFCD on my left monitor. The lua fila which I loaded has three monitors but the right MFCD had zero width and height, which was acting like a ghost monitor. It was working properly with the previous versions. If I wanted right MFCD being visible on my monitor, I was simply increasing the width and height of it, while decreasing the same numbers for the left MFCD. All in all, my problem is, I have only two monitors and I just need the left MFCD to be visible on my second monitor (I dont need right MFCD at the moment). -
Multi-monitor set-up guide & help (unofficial)
airea replied to MadTommy's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
I have a 27 inch (2560*1440) and a 17 inch (1280*1924) monitor and wiyth previous versions of A10c, I was able to run main camera and left mfcd properly. Now, no matter what I did, I was not able to run dual monitor setup. Here is my monitor setup lua file: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('2 Monitor Setup'); Description = 'Left MFCD on the left monitor,Right MFCD on the right and camera on the center' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 2560; height = 1440; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.77777777777; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 2560; y = 0; width = 0; height = 0; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 2560; y = 0; width = 1280; height = 1024; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center What am I doing wrong, what did change after 1.1.1.0 version? -
Now I see that this profile activating thing was also my problem... Thanks for the replies...

Ah sorry my bad, I just miswrote the name of the MFCD that I try to make SPI. My problem is, I dont know how to select a point with the cursor on the moving map on LEFT MFCD. I know how to make SPI on HUD or TADS but not on left MFCD...
-
I already tried that but could not manage. I slew the TADS cursor on the moving map. I pick a point and press TMS forward long (like making a SPI on HUD) but it wont work...
-
When I select a point with TADS cursor, cow can I make it SPI?

Yes the graphics are a little outdated but competition tasks are joy to fly. Online competition is what makes condor a real pleasure...
