  1. I don't see why you can't put the liveries into the Core Liveries so you can view them without having to go into a Mission? That's what I do and then drop the finished article into the Saved Games when it's finished...

  6. Well, I have and if you extract the 'Sounds' folder from the archive straight into your Saved Games then it seems to work. I haven't FULLY tested it yet but it certainly works from an external POV prior to T/O... Well I had another look at it later on (only a brief one) and it seems yeah, it works... AND it's good. Far more 'percussive' than the stock sound and very satisfying to behold!!

  11. @Art-J D'you know what, I never even thought of that. I guess it would make them a little easier to find for 'skin-browsers' wouldn't it? Thanks for the suggestion, I'll get it sorted this weekend and let them loose into the wild! I'm not one of those who get any self-satisfaction from merely 'how many downloads' my skins get. They're more of a labour of love really and if people like 'em then that's just a bonus!! Thanks for the kind words as well, I really appreeciate it... I'm working on another Thunderbolt at the moment, specifically a very dirty one as I find a lot of the DCS stuff a little 'clean'. Well, I can't have that now can I?? Cheers Rap
  12. Nor do I but the fact I've SEEN them just irks me. So your suggestion is that people pretend that it isn't happening then? That's a good idea, isn't it? As far as moderators go, if the title says that immersion is being compromised then I would imagine that would prick up someone's curiousity. Wouldn't you? It's hardly as if the post is massively verbose is it? It literally says, "This an axample of my Bf109 flaps during gameplay, both on ST and MT". Anyway, It's STILL happening... Peace Rap
  13. @NineLine A quick video showing an anomoly on the flaps of this glorious aircraft... This an axample of my Bf109 flaps during gameplay, both on ST and MT. It really IS an immersion-killer, especially as I'm just starting to familiarise myself with the 109 and was enjoying it immensely. You can see the flickering when you are taking off, landing etc. etc. and once you're aware of it you can't unsee it!! You can alsoo see it during replay footage as well so it seems that it is across the board. Attached please find a quick video of the problem, my DCS logfile, the Trackfile and my DxDiag as well. I sincerely hope someone can help?... dcs.log.zip37.31 kB · 3 downloads Flaps Glitch.trk.zip528.67 kB · 2 downloads DxDiag.zip16.42 kB · 2 downloads EDIT: I just cleaned and repaired my installation as well and it still does it... EDIT: IT STILL DOES IT AND THE 'SOLUTION' DOESN'T WORK, IT WAS A MIS-POST AT THIS END. IT HAPPENS IN BOTH MT AND ST
  14. @NineLine A quick video... dcs.log.zip Flaps Glitch.trk.zip DxDiag.zip EDIT: I just cleaned and repaired my installation as well and it still does it...
  15. I'm getting exactly the same thing happening as well. As soo as you try lowering the flaps you can see it out the corner of yer eye. When I check replay it's definitely happening!! By the way, it happens in both ST AND MT. Only on the 109 as far as I can tell but it's VERY annoying once you know it's there...

  17. Make sure you got no other tracking devices running in DCS and, I just found this one out, copy the 'Headtrackier.dll' from your Tobii folder (This PC>Local Disk (C:)>Users>'YOUR NAME'>AppData>Local>TobiiGameHub>app-3.1.1) and paste it into your DCS World>bin and bin-mt folders. The 'app-3.1.1' may be a different number but it's always the latest one, if there's more than one, Try that, it made mine SOOOOO much cmoother. Rap
  18. I may be stating the obvious but I would suggest that something has happened within your description file? I'm a Warbird chap meself so I'm not even aware of any updates to the model at all. Rap
  19. I believe that, if you need skins for Mission-Making then you just change the skins for static objects just the same as you would for your own plane. I dunno if this is what you mean? Rap
