Lovely work Ghostrider, looking forward to downloading this skin later.

The lack, and by now- likely never gonna have- of the AGM-130 hurts me the most... GBU-28, AGM-130.. two weapons I would've loved to use properly in the 15E
-
We've seen them in the other beyond videos, so that doesn't mean much. Just think they didn't have any new clips to show off, and showed off more eurofighter instead. Hoggit post with Cobra response alludes to a summer dev update with intruder news. fingers crossed

A6E AI and Module can't come soon enough.. hopefully we see the AI this year :')

Any news on the A6 AI that was shown off in-game over a year ago?

Not quite :') hang in there guys.. we're getting closer.. -
Bro downloaded the forbidden 6 year old user file

F111F is a dream module for me along with the A6, and a day 1 buy.. But I doubt HB have the manpower and resources to also take it on- in addition to all the other WIP modules and past unfinished work. Maybe another 3p can come along and do it- Sad it wouldn't have the HB quality and feel, but would just be happy to see it there.

Patiently waiting to see more screenies of that gorgeous 3D model.. and.. cockpit shots Ben_Der sent a few amazing shots in the HB discord last year which I greatly appreciated from him, would love to see more again- hehe.. We're all very excited to see this come to the sim

And I sure hope they consider!! I think most of the DCS Corsair customers would agree the sound design is off and could use the E19 treatment. And it isn't to bash M3 for the work they've done, it ain't perfect but it's not god awful either, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

I truly hope a campaign or Mini-campaign can come out for it. Such a wonderful airframe and model even w/ some items not implemented yet.. I would love to see a campaign on the IRAQ and Afghan maps, but maybe they'd avoid since uncertain module + new maps not everyone might have yet.. here's to dreaming the F15E has a bright future, it is by and large my favorite FW module in DCS!

Experienced with pissing off his plane captain if his norm is 1000+ vvi landings in the hornet All jokes aside, the F15E definitely had a steeper learning curve with getting the landings down, compared to the other jet fighters. One major mistake i see often, are people not realizing how much fuel they still have after a sortie, often people coming back to land at 10k-15k of fuel. You absolutely should be dumping extra fuel weight, 3-4k at landing is a very comfortable fuel weight for the 15E. So for those who are struggling with descent rate, speeds in landing config or with landing long/overrunning- please consider your fuel If you fly by the numbers she is very tame on landing :)) nice little aerobrake to show off and wheelie past the jets on the ramp, looking on in awe..

There's no such thing as a tailwind in carrier aviation. the boat turns into the wind for launch and recovery during their cyclic operations, and return to intended course heading once launch/recovery periods are completed.

They sound fairly shallow, like a tin can being rattled. not having any noticeable change in engine RPM throws me off too. Would love to hear them sound more beefy, more gnarly. I've been up close to F4U's and P47's on startup at various airshows, it certainly is missing that beefiness and depth. It's too bad there seems to be a bit of friction between Tyler E19 and the M3 team, would've loved to have his work in the module.

I know Heatblur have coded the smoke to come out when using start shotgun cartridges in the F4E, I would love to see that big plume as the double wasp comes to life!!
-
Instructions unclear- made a left turn off the deck and decapitated 3 midshipmen in the machine gun row
-
Same thing happens when you try to command them via the comms menu, they keep saying negative, and go attack those ships your own damn self XD

The taxi behavior compared to other warbirds in sim is definitely bizarre- especially in regards to the tail-wheel and wheel brakes. I have trouble turning on one wheel (L or R toe brake held down) and the plane doesn't want to pivot around the axis even with tailwheel unlocked. every other tail dragger doesn't have this problem. U need to move forward and hit the L/R brake in the intended direction which can be a pain when space is limited. I can taxi a P51 and P47 with ease, they behave as you'd expect. Hopefully the ground handling can be looked over, especially the brakes. They seem to just lock up and make a tire skid and screech even at slow speeds, so when u try to hold either side L/R, it wants to skid/drag forward instead of pivoting upon the axis.

That is also an excellent point, several modules have this feature for those who don't have detents or fingerlifts, some have it as a 1 button toggle. I guess we shall wait and see Rudels input!
-
I will go on a limb and say, that keybind is not meant to be there and was leftover- as has been the case for a few keybinds (auto-pilot/attitude hold Kb's in mind.) Maybe they had it in there for dev and testing purposes

Essex front elevator "open" and will not close
GUCCI replied to Hunterman008's topic in Bugs and Problems
if you're not able to trap- it might be due to the carriers heading! XD wish i was making it up -
The frustrating reality of a DCS A6E enthusiast.. every time another module gets announced it skips the line, no justice for our iron tadpole :(( We're only a few years away from the 10 year mark since the AI's teaser came out in 2018. I hope by then- the fully flyable module will be here!! I've been waiting patiently since 2018 to get my hands on a proper FF A6 intruder, and hope to see it within the next few years (Hb team, pls move it to come out before the EF, teeehee)

Hope the team has seen this- If there is a better area to post bug reports for visibility do let me know!

Parking brake ‘breaks’ the normal brakes
GUCCI replied to Chattytumbler's topic in Bugs and Problems
My pedals lack toe-brakes (VKB MK. IV) therefore i need to have L/R and both all bound to buttons. Not ideal, but it works. seems to be an issue for those with buttons bound rather than those with an Axis. Haven't confirmed, but myself and OP of this thread seem to be using buttons and not axis -
Thank you as always for the great information Zabu, we all appreciate you greatly! Looking forward to seeing the beautiful iron tadpole in DCS, even as AI form for now. Hoping the new codebase will ease development time and effort too, to see the flyable module sooner rather than later. but as usual, time and quality is #1 and you guys take the time you need to deliver an amazing module (the F4E was worth the wait and all the small delays) Thank you
