NECK, At this time you can only deliver JDAMS in CCRP mode. Although a grid is update by pod doesnt make it a BOT delivery. Be aware that the JTAC can use any grid he gets but in those cloudy days its recommended strongly he use specific computer programs with special software that allows him to pull a mensurated grid. If the grid is taken simply by plugging bearing and distance into his gps the error in the grid can be huge! A category 1 grid which is the only grid an aircraft should drop a weapon for you is an error of 1-6meters and there is not alot of systems out there that can do that. . I.E. a category 2 or 3 coordinate depending on where the aircraft is etc. (best place to grab the grid is 90 degrees over the target. Im sure you know but in reality JTACs can ask for in remarks a "Weapon attack heading" in lieu of a "aircraft final attack heading". However the game is not modeled this way. The GBU-39 for example is under review because no one can tell where it goes in flight. It has actually performed a loop and turned back around and still made it to tgt but its impossible to tell before the computer is rescripted how it gets to tgt without clearing the entire airspace around it for propper aircraft deconfliction. So I dont mind that ED didnt simulate that. However the fuzing is important and unless i missed it I can not adjust it. Its a shame for those light vehicle groups and infantry in the open.

The video is a great example of the time hack however only once! Essentially he did a hack at every minute cause the game plan with the band was going faster and faster ahead of schedule. A note to take away from it is whoever is giving the hack to advise of the time hack. State time... Ready, Ready Hack then repeat the time of the hack. Scenarios where you can see this for example is when working with ground forces and they requires tgts destroyed at specific times that support the ground scheme of maneuver or when working split flights or multiple flights and want simultaneous effects on multiple tgts for example. Practice is important. 63

Raised, From my understanding after reading magazines with quotes from producer Matt wagner...WAGS on this forum. The following. All DCS aircraft including SU-25T will fly in it. Size of map is unknown to me however it is suggested it can substitute the present AO (area of operations).. Other states is unknown however understanding the size of Nevada Im sure it will encompass multiple states. This is my opinion. Best 63 -

SOrry, I meant DCS WORLD MP is fine. In A-10 MP I have no sound. The song doesnt even play when I open the software. 63 -
I have no sound in multiplayer (NOT DCS WORLD MP) but I still have sound in the single player game. What can I do hear. Thanks 63

Yes so am I. A-10C is still choppy as well. That might just be me. Back to the minimizing. Once I was back in the game all the buttons worked as usual. When quitting a game it woudlnt let me also. 63

so now im updated to 1.2.0 and before I fly its asked me to provide the product key. Ive entered the product key numerous times and made sure all the letters and numbers are correct and dcs world is telling me I dont have the right one -

ok so I was able to download a smaller file but the game works. Now im downloading the 1.2.0 ver for DCS World. We will see if that works. It makes no sense to me that I didnt have to download the 3 bins but whatever. it works. Thanks for the links gents. 63 -

Yeah, So i sign in and it recognizes that I already own these games I guess and the only options I have are to upgrade to 1.2.0. Obviously I need BS2 for that to happen. I cant find the page with all 3 bins. -

Lets be clear. AFAC or FAC-A, is a pilot qualified FAC to be able to accomplish what a JTAC/FAC does while he is boots on the ground. Something a lot of people neglect out of this role in MP is aircraft/airspace deconfliction. AbFAC (airborne fac) is a qualified jtac/FAC who is getting a ride in an aircraft. Usually in a chopper and provides the same support he would conduct if he was boots on the ground. best known for AFAC/Fac-a SCHOOL houses are the marines in my opinion. They do it right. Pilot becomes a FAC. Actually performs FAC duties on the ground and overseas then goes back to his airplane sometimes years later. So now you get a pilot who can direct fires and understands the ground force scheme of maneuvre. 63

Realistically using pred is always out of sight out of mind so the FL18-22 block works well however airspace in OIF and OEF is so saturated nowadays its not uncommon to find preds below angels 10 and be able to make out if its a pred or reaper. At the end of the day the same effect is deliverd. 63

AC-130U for sure. But in DCS perhaps a MC-130W would be best with CA coming on line. MC-130W can insert 20-30 SOF troops, provide Non traditional ISR in support and has low colateral damage munitions to support and aerial refuel other aircraft in the stack. Now thats multi tasking!

Nate, If you mean Actually as in REAL LIFE. Then yes. It can Laser Spot Track and designate thus your using the same laser codes. Plus if you look at the reapers alone they are dropping GBU-12s so they of course can do it as well. However only later variants of MQ-1 are able to LTD for your SA. A great source of info is to http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/usa/doctrine/dod/t0302060.pdf page 31. this is must next to you when flying. However outdated it does not include specs on any MQ series plane or the A-10C for that matter.

It doesnt matter since your TGP to the best of my knowledge can not become DEADEYE. However in the event it is BENT then it can become an issue. If thats the case the damage sustained by the TGP should mean you should attempt to RTB. But it would be nice to have a buddy lase. Not just from your DASH 2 but also from UAVs and all other laser capable aircraft
