I think it's because you have Black Shark installed but not sure. The changes I make to the Black Shark profile affect A-10 though.

I'm running on a fairly old CPU but my upgrade from a 280GTX to 580GTX made an amazing performance increase across the board for me. Upgrade your vid card for sure, you will not be dissapointed.

If it's strictly for gaming and not work or web browsing, a large screen using 1920x1080 is OK. But if you want to do anything else, it's useless. Then again, not all LCD TV's are the same but my 32" newer Sharp TV looks like crap when displaying the desktop and text but games look awesome on it.

I just got my TIR5 today. It replaced my TIR3 that I never did upgrade to Vector Expansion. Anyway, why didn't someone tell me how much better TIR5 is?!!?! Well, actually, every post I've read said the TIR5 was better but I really had no idea what I was missing without 6DOF. Wow! This is very cool stuff! And yes, the tracking is much, much smoother too.

I'm just saying, we shouldn't always think that just because we spend our hard earned cash, we have a right to make the rules. I do agree with some aspects of your arguements, though I don't know if I agree with your approach, or delivery, and I especially don't think holding ED to a higher standard just because this is a niche market is proper. You've type a lot for someone under 4 days distress, caused my yourself. Most of what you've typed goes way beyond anything to do with your initial issue. And, nobody called you a pirate or a bad guy. I think this thread is probably approaching ................ oblivion :P

In all my years of LockOn and other DCS titles, I doubt I've used more than 3 activations per product and most likely, only two. I overclock, run Raid0, crash&burn, overclock some more, blow shit up, upgrade, more upgrades, then more upgrades, then rinse & repeat. I'm just being nosey here, but how does one run out of activations? Any volunteers?

I just installed FF this past weekend. I never could get it to run before but I got it working this time, though it is a little buggy. I was not able to get OF to run at all.

If you are running nVidia, it's running hotter because when you have two monitors hooked to the same card, running at different resolutions, the card will remain at 3D clocks instead of downclocking to 2D mode. I cannot verify the resolution part, but my card goes up about 10c when I connect two monitors as well.

Be sure to connect your monitor to the same video card as your main monitor if you are running nVidia, otherwise do expect bad stuttering and crappy fps.

Rev, Logitech will most likely give you a new one. They are excellent when it comes to things like that. Some G-15's had that issue and it was corrected. Mine never had that problem and it's still as good as the day I bought it several years ago.

I would love to get back into F4 but the only version I can get to at least run on my rig is F4AF. I know if I went to very old nVidia drivers I could get some more versions to run, but I'm not really willing to do that anymore. Will BMS4 run with Win7 and new vid cards and drivers? If not, a big SKIP for me.

Fricken WOW! That's kinda scary.

I remember making campaign-like multiplayer missions back when I used to run a server for LockOn. Sure, you had to restart them after everything got blown up, but still, with the human element, they were alot of fun.

The mods here are truely Saints. I'm way too hot-headed and impatient with hard-headed people who only see the world from one single viewpoint -- theirs. I cannot wait until technology gets good enough to allow me to reach into my monitor and choke the crap out of someone :-) That would put a whole new spin on multi-monitor setups too!

LOL, I just did read some of his previous posts and I see your point, but I also think the way he comes off can be misinterpreted due to language and the Internet in general. I never even looked at his profile. The post reads like a person who can write English just well enough to be understood, though not necessarily grammatically correct or all words spelled correctly. Either way, if I had an answer to his post I would have attempted to answer it, not grade him on his grammer and spelling. I guess 4 years in the military and spending the last two all over the world gave me some appreciation for folks outside this countrys' abilility to speak English in addition to their native language, no matter how well. Lighten up.

Assuming English is not his native language, I understand his question perfectly and applaud the ability to be multi-lingual. Wish I were.
