Try again in a while . . . I read on the site once that, updates are staggered to prevent overloading the server?

Oh yeah . . . I am running Native at 90HZ

Try for smoothness over FPS. Yes, FPS is important however, it's more about smoothness. I run a 9900K with a RTS 3070 Ti and a Pimax 8kx headset. The Crystal has a couple of additional bells and wheels however still, the final FPS you can get depends on too many factors. Which Map, the complexity of a given area within the map, time of day, which aircraft and so much more. I can get 42 FPS with everything set to Ultra if I am flying in a low poulated area. As soon as you get to a city it will drop to 23. Remember this ( IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT FPS). Dropping the details a bit can make all the difference in the world. Our 3070 TI's only have 8gig VRAM. With the use of foveated viewing and DLSS 3.10 at setting "J" . . . I get 56-92 in the FA-18C using the Caucasus Free Flight. More than enough for a smooth flight. 56 over the cities at 5,000 ft 73 over the mountains at 6,000 feet. 92 over the moutains at 15,000 ft. Have a look at my current settings. Everything looks beautiful with some setting lowered. options.lua

This has been a problem for me as well, for as long as it has been reported by others. Instead of (Alt-Tab) to fix it, I found that if I hold my head still before pressing (F-10) and again hold my head still while returning, I do not have the issue. In other words, moving my head when entering the map or, moving my head when returning back to the cockpit the screen and FPS go haywire. This might help at least a few of you?

Chinese Landing Ship by MingGe(Updated)
Mrgone replied to cao990's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
Don't know if anyone has come across this conflict. The green gate in, for example FA-18 quickstart "River Run", was being replaced with an object from the 'Chinese Architecture". Redownloading and reinstalling "Chinese Architecture" has corrected this for me. It raises a question however . . . was "Chinese Architecture" updated or merely corrupted during my original installation. When re-downloading, I didn't see that the file had been updated? Anyway, it works now . . . -

It's not you . . . I've experienced the same in the last three updates. I rolled back to 552.44 and stay there for now . . . it works well for me. Might not for another?

Mrgone replied to Seyv's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Merci beaucoup pour votre publication de Rafale-FR-3D. Je suis impatient de tester sur ma machine. Salutations -
Thanks . . . I'll give that a try?

I have been experiencing excessive jitter since the last update. Chased everything I could think of. Kept asking myself; what is it about turning my head, and pretty much only when I turn my head or change my course? It then dawned on me . . . Canopy Reflections . . . Blow the canopy. Stutter, Jitter, Tearing, whatever one wants to call it . . . It's gone now. There is no in-game setting to turn off canopy reflections entirely. Thoughts anyone?

I have been experiencing this same Issue . . . Tried everything driving me nuts because it never happed in two years of using my Pimax except, when use too high a screen resoluton. Can you tell me what moves the Piper in the Reflex site independantly from my head movement? My head centering is okay, the reflex is offset to the right. This part I get and is normal? It's the illuminated piper within the rectical that I need to move. It has for some reason moved far to the left. Just can't figure what moves or shifts the piper . . .

Gunsites shifted (offcenter) to the left on German Warbirds.
Mrgone replied to Mrgone's topic in General Bugs
Okay, what about when not in VR . . . ie screen mode? The Piper is still to the left and moving my head will of course does nothing. Is there an offset in a .lua somewhere like, views.lua that allows me to shift the piper to the right a bit? Changing ther "EyePoint" seems to not have any affect. Clue for someone just not obvious to me . . . As I use Numpad-6 (look-right) the piper begins to center. Somehow their intertwined. Of course when I Numpad-5, the view centers and returns the piper again shifts to the left. -

No, I mean't to say . . . the illuminated piper is not centered in the reflector . . . -
Unable to center Gunsights on Bf-109K-4, FW-190A8 and the FW-190D9. All three are shifted to the left . . . See image. All other aircraft are fine. What is the commonality of these three aircraft? Anyone have any idea?

I've had an issue with all three German warbirds for a while now. Yes, I agree they need a visual update. However, for me, the gun recticals are off to the the left on the Bf-109K and both FW-190's. I don't use Track IR and have read how to correct for those users. I do use VR but nothing I do seems to help. Anyone experience this issue? Altering the Visual.lua has no effect?

I would have to agree with the original post . . . Save this for your personal MP chat or even games like COD. This is a Sim . . . Not a game! Neither a gentleman nor, an officer would use this in real combat for this reason . . . they might not be coming home . . . I Salute you Richrach. Uh . . . where might you live Tzigy. Some of us here have lived the reality . . . the real game.

mods conflict Cannot get super carrier to show up in a mission
Mrgone replied to Fman95's topic in General Bugs
I had the same issue of falling into the water . . . I discovered it was the Su-30_EFM_V2.7.54. No, I was not attempting to launch the Su-30 off a carrier. It was merely the module itself somehow causing the issue, just having it installed. Once removed all was well again. I just installed the latest version Su-30_EFM_V2.7.73b and it continues to work FOR ME. -
Hey, if anyone would like to diverge from a painful topic such as the fate of the F-15E. . . ask about my Avitar. It is real and the only known one in existance! My days on this planet are somewhat numbered and I have a tale to tell . . .

I understand . . . and I am sorry. Seems all the speculation is more damaging to both parties then a bawdy limeric.

Many of my clients like to buy, sight unseen, from e-bay. Often they’ll later find they've paid a little more than the current market suggests for an item. A few have even asked if I will discount my repair price to compensate them for their purchasing loss . . . I will ask them the following questions . . . "Do you like to go clubbing?" ["Yes"] "What did you spend last weekend?" [$180.00] "Did you get a number?" [What?] "Did you get a number?" [If you mean a Girls number than, No] "So, all you got for $180.00 was a hangover and no telephone number right?" [Well, yes . . . what is your point?] "My point is you’ve pissed away $180" [Okay] "Now you want me to compensate you for paying $50.00 more from e-bay than another might have paid . . . right?" "Was not the loss of $180 an even larger loss?" [No, not really, at least I got to listen to a good band and had a few drinks] "Are you too going to ask the club for a refund?" [Why would I do that?] EXACTLY!!! Listen, I too am a bit annoyed that some F-15E issues have not been addressed and certainly sad to see a drift with RAZBAM however, hammering EA will not move the issue any quicker. Yes, $79.95 is not a small sum for any of us. I get it, but after all there might be bigger fish to fry out there. I assure you that good things are yet to come . . . Be patient . . . Fly this beautiful bird . . . It's not perfect but it's a whole lot of fun. ~Fin~ Who's this dork you might asking? Just someone who likes to fly for the sake of Flying and the F-15E, with all its short-comings is still a lot more fun than the F-15C. -Circulus in Probando

Regular FPS drops when looking at the ground on Caucasus
Mrgone replied to IRRE_Schwarzy's topic in Game Performance Bugs
In VR I have the same issue. Extreme FPS loss while looking at my instrument panel, you could say while looking down however, it appears mostly while interacting with the flight panel. For me, the problem began with the AH-64 and the F-15E upon their release, day one of each. Only these two modules are affected. I will drop from 65-72 FPS to 1-2 FPS and finaly DCS locks-up. It does not crash. If I [Alt-Tab] or [F10] for a moment the issue dissipates long enough to land or exit the sim. It matters not where I am located nor the density of the surrounding objects and altitude. Lowering my settings to the default VR option helps a little with the F-15E but the Apache still stutters a bit. With all other aircraft I can run the same settings in VR as I do in screen-mode (maxed) without any issues other than a little drop in the more densely populated areas.- 28 replies
