  1. With the altercation of the 701 to the 701R on the Deka module JF-17, What other weapons do you guys plan on altering since you have control of them now? There are a lot of very unique weapons on the JF17, BRMs, 802aks, AKG, 400(soon?). I only ask because even the 701s where in a pretty good spot & I am not sure why they had been changed in the first place. Leads me to wonder about its more unique weapons.

  4. I'm pretty sure it's destroyed ground units doing it. Some of them are just really large bomb craters you see under destroyed vehicles.

  6. It is differential. Sometimes it won't do it at all. Most times it does this, on old & new.
  7. After doing a little more digging It seems to be a conflict between configuration panel/rearming panel. Below is a picture of how the JF auto starts with no user input. (Assuring codes are 1688 on rearm page before spawning) Either pylon #2 or #6 will have the correct code & you have to manually change each one, Rather than "Apply to all pylons"
  8. Since ME/Laser code updates to -001. I've noticed this in multiplayer and single player autostarts & manual starts tacview not needed.

  12. Thank you for solidifying my point of the $8 Mig29. Clicky cockpits are fun, its what I want in a module. But for most people it not really offering anything aside from that, I personally don't think it will offer us much.

  15. Sure, This game is built completely on the a PvE mindset. I am using PVP as an example, as it does represent a fair amount of people. PVE represents the majority of DCS, So naturally they would structure that first and foremost. But basing the justifcation around information is quite foolish, A prime example is this F35, They have sheer speculation. Sure, there are FC3 red aircraft, but thats all there ever has been. Look at the FF 9.12 that is coming, It is nothing different besides a clicky cockpit, fighting things it has no parity with. Soon to be fighting EF & F35s, It doesn't make sense. There is plenty of information on aircraft like the Su-30MKK (completely declassified), J-10A, Mi28nm & a slew of other eastern block aircraft, saying it is based off of information is just incredibly false. I like many other do not care they are making some module that will be a gimmick, I do however care & ED should too, they are just missing such a large mark with red aircraft. Deka has a Su30MKK, They've been working on it since like 2020 or something. Let them release it.

It's quite simple for a lot of us; (From a red enjoying PVP perspective) Put the EF & F35 aside for a moment There is zero parity in a counter-part, F18/16/14/etc > jf/27/29/etc by a large margin Now bring the EF & F35 back in; F35/EF > F18/16/14/etc > jf/27/29/etc Even the PVP aspect aside, Many of us love aircraft other than NATO ones.

  18. From a business perspective, Rightfully so. Outside of the hind, shark & JF (which all sold well) there hasn't even been any attempt of it outside of FC3, which everyone I personally know, owns.
  19. That is an incredibly bad arugment. Some clicky buttons in a module that already exists isn't going to be some big ticket item. The lack of parity really just makes it terribly undesireable for even most redfor only enjoyers in a PVP enviroment. Now I know this game is built and devolped off of PVE, but there is a massive consumer market for red aircraft & that mark is just really being missed. It's almost like, "Here buy this same module that will offer nothing to the game for more than $7.99 and we might consider making something newer"
  20. Your single player love for the game is the PVE representation I am talking about. balance more so isn't the issue, Parity is.

  22. War Thunder is a PVP game DCS is a PVE game that we are lucky to have server creators making PVP servers in. From a PVP standpoint, He is correct. Its a gimmick. The EF alone tipped the "balance" or parity that was already heavily one sided" Now here comes the F35... From what the game is based on (PVE) sure... Have your fun shooting mig29s & whatever. From a PVP standpoint with the only real red module in sight is a 9.12.... Well thats a little concerning.
  23. A lot of people tend to forget that this is a PVE game. We are just fortunate enough to have server owners making PVP servers. I most certainly understand the concern of the OP. Current DCS as far as PVP goes, red is signifigantly lacking. Nevermind the F35 gimmick. The EF tipped any sort of "balance" or parity for PVP servers in a modern/80s enviroment that is already teetering. ED Follows their consumer market, Blue PVE players. Like any business should. ED is also missing a pretty large consumer market with "red" enjoyers & PVP players by adding these modules. They are also pushing their PVE playbase (the majority) to F35s fighting Mig29s that don't hold a candle. There is no "we'll get them when they can make them". They announced building a module they have very little accurate data on. Russia saying no is just not a valid argument anymore. So, Su30 & J10 when? Imagine

Target locking & INS Area locking are 2 different things, The pod should not be able to maintain a solid lock beyond the 21nm, But it should be able to INS Area lock much further than it currently does without drifting. One thing I've always hated about the WMD7, Trying to slew around beyond 21 and it start drifting.....
