  1. Nice--thanks CIBIT--got me right into the action without having to spend an hour trying to find something in the GUI manual.
  2. Reviews Discussion I really liked this review--the guy has some writing skills--I particularly liked the line "Ground terrain is, as is typical of Eagle Dynamics titles, solid."
  3. I'm looking into what it takes to become an active member of an aerobatic team--and have noticed that the various teams out there seem to fly in flaming cliffs, in the F-16, for example, or some other third party created model. It's been a long time since FC2 has graced my HDD--I thought the only aircraft in that title that utilized the "advanced" flight model was the Su25. Has the commmunity provided high fidelity flight models to other aircraft? I would have thought the aerobatic teams would only be flying either the su25, or the Ka-50, or the A10C--as AFAIK, those are the only "high fidelity" models available. Thanks for any replies--
  4. I'm having no trouble with it--and yeah, got the SEAD message after I was airborne for awhile. My only suggestion would be to put SEAD and AFAC on one of the VHF (AM or FM) radios--as for us single player peeps, we'll have to setup UHF preset channels and have to switch back and forth to communicate with our flight, and then to the AFAC/SEAD. Should I download the updated version RE: scenarios?
  5. Need a little clarification--BTW, single player here. Why are some of radio freq's the same? Or can they be? I was able to see JTAC on AM radio--and tanker--so I guess it's no problem? Also--I chose scenario number 1--how do I know which if that scenario is for area 1, 2, or 3? Finally, how do you call in SEAD? I didn't see anything available in the F10/Other menu (after choosing a scenario). Thanks for any reply!
  6. GG--notching, hmm--yes, and attitude adjustment. Not you, of course ;)
  7. GEEEZ--I prefaced it with "Ok--so had a few beers..." I definately need to go back to the range for practice, beers or no beers. At least GG, I can always count on a nice, HONEST opinion from you! hehe
  8. Ok--I've had a few beers, but take a look at the track. I don't know if my gunplay is accurate or not--all I know is that pre-108, all the tanks would be dead from the same runs.
  9. I'm too, having difficulty killing tanks with the mighty gun. Hit #7 3 times, per screenshot, and it wasn't even smokin'--except the machine gunner maybe, a cigarette while plugging my wings with rounds.
  10. I'm brandtryan
  11. Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_vo2hmE-tU
  12. I did a search in the manual for "flight director" and it came up with not a single instance. Can someone point me in the right direction for more info on the flight director?
  13. I'm now responding in the thread referenced--just posted this: Hi guys--been looking into this--it seems to be working ok to me, at least in reference to the latest manual out with 1108. There is no reference to "command bars" or "flight director mode" (there is a flight director mode in the Ka-50). Maybe there was some "flight director" reference in an older version of manual? I think the problem with this thread was that the author was working with a broken ILS at the time of posting, or the manual at the time was poorly written. In any event, I'm not sure what the statement "You should be able to center them immediately by just changing the pitch/bank" means, or how it is different than how it currently works--as indeed, you roll and pitch to center the bars. Gonna post a video in a minute--comments, critisism welcome, as I'm not a real pilot, and could most definately be wrong about this.
  14. Hmm. Amazing I made it to the runway in zero visibility if they were "broken". They most definately are directing me somewhere. Maybe you're confused because I didn't have them centered most of the time--was trying to illustrate a point. However, I've done dozens of ILS approaches riding the cross all the way to the threshold. Pretty sure the latest patch fixed all the ILS issues--could be mistaken. In any event, the tutorial is still useful, as it is all still relevant, whether the bars are directing properly or not.
  15. Thanks, Cibit!
  16. I just changed the weather to full on cloudy night, with major fog on the ground. The lights are there, you just can't see most of them! Sorry about the audio level--I'll be sure to fix that on the next go around.
  17. **UPDATE** Voiceover volume level fixed! In this tutorial, I go over the HSI, TACAN navigation, and the ILS. Some of it is repetative from my TACAN tutorial, but thought I would include it all in one video.
  18. Most precious app on my phone--thanks for your hardwork.
  19. Leroni, Thanks--finally got that mission done! I was actually missing Voron 3, and just hitting the steerpoint without finding the search party.
  20. In a way, this could safeguard pilot not flying over the target.
  21. Should be available under user files/campaigns after moderator approves it. I simply edited all the missions to start from the ramp. No guarantees the mission flow will work well--though from what I've tested, it seems to be okay. Matt made some very cool, and very complex missions--hopefully a lot of them do not require the pilot to adhere strictly to a Time on Target.
  22. does radar care at all about engines? or does it go for center of aircraft?
  23. u mean put your nose on it, then pitch up? talk about raising your nose at someone! <end cheese>
  24. AFAIK u always put the RWR indicator on you beam--not your six to make the missle use more energy to acquire the infrared/radar signature sweetspot of your aircraft. maybe this doesn't apply to the hog? any thoughts?
