Why would it be different as it was already announced? http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?lang=en&end_pos=950&scr=default

Beautiful BS screenshots were posted already on lockon.ru of new 3d tank models like T-72b, T-80ud and French LeClerc but not yet the Leopard or the M1 Abrams. Is it work in progress? Anyway there is a nice M1 Abrams model available for free: http://gunpoint-3d.com/view-M1Abrams.f.html I was playing around with it:

Oh man I am so jealous: 28-32C temperature in Turkey! At the moment it is rainy in Belgium and I am almost freezing. On the other hand the ambient temperature in my PC case is pretty healthy about 30°C (CPU around 35-40°C). -
RIP… I wonder if it is wise to perform stunts with the WWII P-51 Mustangs which are 60 year old? Anyway the pilots were experienced and qualified.

I think that you did not interpret the graph correctly: Gas resources are 1% for Canada and 42% for Former USSR (and Europe). In correct order: Africa & Far East: 15% US: 3% Canada: 1% Mexico: 1% Central and South America: 4% Former USSR (and Europe): 42% Middle East: 34% I think that the charts from Mibsk are even more recent! For the oil reserves indeed latest estimations are very positive for Canada.

On what planet do you live… -
First a lot of blablabla cold war is over and next a shield in Poland to protect Europe from an Iran thread (Maybe missiles will do a fly-over over Europe and make a 180° turn and hit us). Do you want more proof that cowboys will start another cold war! If you ask me they can put their shield where (…you know where the light is not shining) I don’t want a shield against Russia I want a gas-pipe line :D. TS out.

First Movie: Hawg Wild: Black Sea Battles
TucksonSonny replied to PoleCat's topic in Screenshots and Videos
Great work! Even GA can learn a lot from your movie (Actually I am not so a fan of his flashy and blurred style where you can’t see what is happening but this is of course personal feel). About the music: it is personal taste too. Phil Collins was my favorite artist during the Miami Vice period in the 80’ties but indeed it is today a little outdated but it suits perfect together with the slower A-10 flying. My score: 9.5/10  My advice: Make the switch to rendering and use HD 720p/1080p in the future (of course you better choose then the high poly 3D models like 25T and the BS in the future) BTW, VirtualDub.exe is a free program and has practically no limits (it is way harder work to use compared with Windows Movie Maker of course) -
Again? Happy B-day ICE :D

single core vs dual core CPU's
TucksonSonny replied to rattler's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
The latest and fastest single core made was the FX-57@2.8Ghz (about old P4@6+Ghz) No need to turn back on single core anyway because: Today dual and quad cores have already much better performance on their single core. And with about the same power consumption or less they multiply the performance with 2x (for dual core) and 4x (for quad core) Your effective single core cpu performance of the quad core = Quad cpu 3DMARK06 CPU score divided by 4 But indeed Lockon and most other titles today only use ¼ th of the available cpu power! -
Su-27UB, Su-27PU and Su-30
TucksonSonny replied to VMFA117_Poko's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I can’t remember were I heard it! But if I recall correct a Su-35/37 or some experimental su-27xx/30 was having 2 internal r-73’s. (Maybe it was a very old Free Falcon version :D) -
LOL Now you can setup already a LAN party with 30+ PC’s and run for a week with only one copy of Lockon FC. Not bad I guess..
