  3. Прошло почти два года, и, как мы видим, модуль мертв, и нет никаких планов по его обновлению, улучшению или чему-либо еще в будущем. Это позор. Я полагаю, что нам не стоит ожидать никаких улучшений в пехоте или прицепах.
  4. Never was a official stament of the Po-2 and the Su by OctopusG, meanwhile, that will be moving on the backyards.
  5. Remember Octopus-G has planned a Su-22M4 full fildelity.
  6. No,. None is confirmed or on plans by ED.
  7. Remember other "DLC" has incoming on WW2 (PTO) by ED, that modules (yes modules) has are here to stay, and honestly, no matter how much some people push for their "disappearance," I'm the first to agree that these content creators have the right to be compensated for their work (having worked in this field, I know that tool licenses aren't cheap). There have already been extensive posts on the topic, and no, there's no majority in favor of their disappearance, just a 50/50. When I see an official statement from ED, that they have seriously started moving these environments (land and/or sea) and that dedicated personnel are requested (as the actual land ATC), I will believe it,
  8. I go to refloat that post, that request to add more artillery systems and amunition on DCS World.
  9. Sorry by the OT. Assets packs have nothing to do with CA itself. A team (who wanted to become a third-party) already attempted to create asset pack modules in the past, but it didn't work out (They disappear). The CA functionality is completely different point. A Combined Arms II, and in fact will be a RTS. We have a FC CA but that product never was planned to be a "tank / vehicle hardcore module simulator", only a "no trusted" JTAC simulator. All vehicle simulation is out of the discussion. None of that is going to happen, because it's not part of Combined Arms, and because it's been confirmed on the forums by the ED team that if that work were to be done, it would be for a completely new module. The same thing happens with AI and 3D models: the former is a core implementation, and the latter, either ED makes time for it or a third party creates it and sells it as modules or sends it to ED for DCS W integration. I'm sorry to say, but we're still confusing concepts. For a realistic vehicle simulation, you don't need a CA 2 or 3. You need to ED create a dedicated team to create everything related to a hardcore vehicle module (physics, interiors, functionality, armor, damage, cockpits with VR, etc.). The only time anyone thought this could happen was when Wags asked for information on the M1 Abrams Tank... Without a dedicated team, I highly doubt it (and I'm the main interested party). There's a lot that needs to be implemented in the core before this can even be called Fleet Opps... (Weather, Sonar engine, Ship operations, damage, flooding, countermeasures, radars, weapons, etc...). It's the same as for an FPS; we're light years away if ED ever has the means, personnel, and resources for it.
  10. The Map tools (TDK) has on the ED side and we dont know what is the next iteration of that software, and what coming with the "whole earch" map on the future.
  11. @MAESTR0 I see the tank range video and I impresive about the detail of the MTT? bridge deploy as attrezo on the range on 0:24 We can expected on a future see that enginering bridges as assets to deploy on DCS? that assets will be very cool improve missions and boost CA. 16. Has the actual Combined Arms. ED dont make a harcore DCS "Tank Simulator".
  17. That bikes has no the same of the atrezzo of Normandy WW2?
  18. ED has show some pics in the last years some pics and videos (CH-47, etc), about your new infantry model coming to DCS W, but the problem has, if that infantry has new features implement into them, and I dont talking about a FPS, has talking only on AI funtionality. Some questions about them: The new infantry coming with "wearables" (main weapon, sidearms, backpacks, ammo, grenades, ifaks, helmets, Molets, etc) or only use the old system as a complete without capability of select propper sets to build squads and more advanced units? Meanwhile DCS W has no a "infantry simulator" (require a complete dedicated team), the AI expected on a future move and combat as a cohesive unit or only will be as a brainless dummies (that will be a AI side work). Expected on a future see infantry units carry heavy support weapons, as mortars, MMG/HMG, AT missiles and rockets, recoiles rifles, etc or equpment as radios, EW systems, drones, etc? Ability to use grenades lanched by hand and/or grenade lanchers? More animatios as march, take cover, crouch, jump, climb, run, kneel, reloading, take and drop equipment, enter and exit from vehicles, helos and buildings? Add AI states, as calm, alert, take cover, panic, regroup, make first aid, hand to hand combat, fanatics, surrender, etc. Ability to designate HQ units and put a command structure on infantry units? Diferent units as leg, motorized, mechanized, sappers, technicals, parachute, airborne, marines, etc, capable of deploy and use them as realistic units? (that require many implement in the core). Ability to make tactical maneuvers as changing formations, advances, retreats, take cover, defense, raids, etc?
