Training mission M14. Guns and rockets. White smoke marker is 3 miles 115 degrees off from the waypoint #2. Its actually in the middle of a forest and no targets are visible here. I suppose they are well hidden and camouflaged! But seriously I think this is incorrect? Cheers

I have just purchased the Harrier so working through the missions. This does not work for me. I always start stuck on the carrier, no way to get into cockpit. The above method you describe doesn't work. I'm on DCS 2.5.5 stable.

Anyone know which keys reset the master caution/warning lights? Lctrl+R doesn't work? I am wanting to cancel the Caution for Low H2o and bingo. Also master warning LAW, low altitude. Cant seem to re set them? Thanks

Got it! Funny thing was, I thought I did that before and I could not get out of AA gun? Anyway it worked when I tried it again. I'm ready for a crack at Red Flag again! Cheers. BTW looking down with TIR at my harness....Never seen individual stitches so clear...WOW!

OK so all bombs gone. Need to get Air to Ground gun on HUD mode. Previously LCtrl+0 did that. All I can get on HUD is AA CNM gun. CNM Neutral doesn't set radar in TAS. I am missing a step here with the new mods? Cheers

Thanks very much for the link! I was following the A/G tutorial and of course the HUD modes didn't work! I think it would be a good idea to re do the training scripts on the training missions. Edit. I last flew the Charlie 18 months ago. I did the Red Flag amosign twice. I didn't have any issues. I've just read some posts here on the forum and it seems there have been updated that have broken things. It was my intention to re type and then re fly Red Flag. I will continue re typing and see about Red Flag. Surely things will work again, this module in Red Flag was a rewarding experience! People who are trialing the Charlie on the free trial will be mightily confused by the old training scripts...! Hopefully they will have read the updates and carry on to buy it! Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks chaps. The auto turn to target and that cluster of lights don't work on my system. Maybe I need to change out the bulbs? Roger the Beta version!

OK, so I'm puzzled by this one. After shooting one 530, I select a Magic. Shoot the Magic. I then see a BVR target so want to switch back to the remaining 530. I can not select the 530 from the 530 button on the PCA. 530 is illuminated but the PCA button wont accept a press? How can I select the remaining 530? Thanks

The weapons mode lights on the moving target, auto turn to target aren't visible. Impossible to determine if they are selected or not? Thanks

I first flew the Black Shark years ago when it was first released. Just gone back to it in 2.5.5 and notice the cockpit has changed. I can not tell if the warning lights on target panel are on or off? Moving target,auto turn, lights etc are not readable. In bright sunlight the cockpit labels are shimmering like mad and frankly its not flyable for me now! I use MSAA and SSAA. Also that awful guy rushing through the training script! He's gabbling so fast its hard to keep up with him. Can this be re done with Wags, who speaks at a proper pace!! I am no longer current in the Ka-50, re typing is necessary, but I'm sure I could see the warning lights before the cockpit upgrade? Can these lights be made visible? Cheers

Training mission Taxi and Take off error. At the point you are asked to throttle up to 1500 rpm, whilst holding the brake, the training crashes! The brakes don't hold anyway at 1500 rpm...perhaps that's something to do with the crash, since you go outside the zone box? Cheers.

Whilst I would be exctatic if Heatblur did the Tonka, I would also be equally chuffed about the A6 Intruder, the Kitty Hawk and a Vietnam map! Anyone remember Willem Dafoe in Flight of the Intruder? Wild Weasel over 'Nam, with the Shrike!:thumbup: Cheers!

Thanks! So next question, any sign of targeting pod or AG radar?:music_whistling: I dug out my SuperBug in P3d and sure enough, there's the AG radar! The targeting pod permits similar functionality with designate via Infra Red, TV, Low Light Level TV on DDI or HUD. Quite beautiful really! Regards.

Cheers, I am so glad you said that! I thought it was just me, but the top speed at sea level in the P51D is 325 Knots. That's at 50" boost and 3000 RPM. Now did they model it on the Alison engine, or the Packard Merlin? Whatever, its too slow! Cheers.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the P51D-25 and the P51D-30? Apart from the graphics glitch in the cockpit of the P51D-30. The left side cockpit behind the throttle has artefacts? See image attachment. Cheers

I just tried this again after a long while away from WW2. The B17's just will not carpet bomb for me? Is there a way to fix this? The B17 is nicely modelled, but apart from shooting the heck out of my Messerschmit, they don't drop any bombs! Then there is the deadly accuracy of the AI B17 crew......can this be turned down a tad, say in the AI level of the unit? At the moment attacking a B17 Box is almost suicide? I know, its probably how the Luftwaffe felt, but to make our "game" a bit easier can it be looked at? Tally ho!

Using the superb Mission Editor, I added a few features to the last mission. If you fly or have flown the magnificent Red Flag for the Mirage, by Baltic Dragon, you will hear about Berger's rescue from this campaign. So here it is.
