I feel your pain. I just had another update required message.

I am getting the black screen with sound still going with my CV1 now. I have to close DCS and then the screen comes back on in Oculus home. Anyone else experiencing this with their CV1?

Do you not know your real ipd? I called my eye doctors office and they gave me the measurements. Oddly enough, they were hesitant to provide it to me over the phone, but I explained the reason I wanted it and they gave it to me. I used to play with a 55 setting, but now I use my real 67.5 setting. Objects seem much better proportioned now.

I checked my affinity settings for DCS and all the cores were checked. So since DCS is automatically doing this now, how can it be a single core performer? Or am I missing something?

I can't recall a time you could use your bonus points on new modules.

To each its own I guess. I'll never understand this mentality. The systems that haven't been released yet are the ones that take a long time to develop.

I experienced this for the first time in a dogfight last night. I didn't know what was happening. I thought I got hit from side like I was in a car. Cool effect. I approve. :)

Wow, I think you found something with disabling the "Adaptive GPU Performance Scale". My ghosting issues with fly-bys and the wings morphing when banking is eliminated. The side views aren't completely smooth, but they are better. My fps does go up when do a fly-by for example, but in cockpit(Tomcat w/ mirrors on) it stays around 45. Thanks for the tip. normally stuff like this doesn't work for me. :)

There could be a possibility for this, because last year I saw some animations of crew members using tools.

Thanks for the info. I've already updated and rolled back my gfx drivers, but I still get ghosting in the fly-by camera and the wings when banking. Also, in the mirrors in the Tomcat. Maybe it's 2.5.5 and not the Oculus software.

How do you download older versions of the Oculus software? I'm wanting to try the 1.35 version since that's the last version before the Rift S. My DCS VR experience was much better before I used the Rift S which of course forced me to update the software. Are they still available for download?

The in-game sounds are amazing. Can't wait to hear a startup.

I've figured out the issue. The return of the deck sliding is the culprit. I zeroed out the speed of the carrier and everything works. The INS aligns like it used to. I noticed someone has already reported the deck sliding bug so hopefully ED can fixed this again asap.

Notepad++ is a better editor. Gives you access to code-based functionalities. If you don't want to use it, makes sure you open Notepad as administrator, browse to the file and open it. Then you'll be able to save the .lua file.

It's already been confirmed that the option does nothing atm.

I get this also when looking at 3/9, but my frames don't drop. The scene just judders, not smooth at all.

I always have ASW off using the Oculus Tray Tool, and my fps are still at 45 when the ghosting happens. I just tried the 430.86 drivers but it still happens. I'll try different PD settings and see what happens.

Or at least start supporting spare parts again.

Thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully this is a start for us to be able to walk in & out of aircraft.
