  1. Yes, a lot of stutters and bad frame rates. Last night I was dropping to the high 20s.
  2. Some nice Carrier news today. Thank you ED.
  3. I don't like this at all. I think I'll revert back to the previous patch until this is resolved. I'm more pissed at myself, because I normally check the forums for threads like this before updating. Looks like my next update will be for the new carrier. I can wait.
  4. But would this effect just sitting on the ramp in a cold start? No t-pod is on or anything. At Vazani AB I'm getting frame drops in the mid 30s where it used to be 45+ before this patch.
  5. My performance has dropped a lot in today's patch. I'm hitting the 30s and a lot of stuttering. Previously I was getting 45+ fps in this same mission in the Hornet. I'm using the CV1 and yes I've deleted the shader folders.
  6. My performance in today's patch has dropped big time. I'm hitting the 30s and a lot of stuttering. I've only tried the Hornet so far and yes I deleted the shader folders. Anyone else having issues?
  7. There was stock earlier from Amazon for $599, but I'm sure they already ran out since I no longer see them. I had decided to get a laptop instead anyway, but the Reverb will be my choice again since I enjoyed having it before. Unless the Valve is ridiculously better.
  8. Are these the new versions?
  9. Look for options.lua in your Saved Games directory.
  10. Damnit! Amazon has stock again too. Laptop or Reverb?
  11. Will deck sliding be fixed?
  12. Wow. That was great. Keep it up.
  13. C'mon y'all chill out before this turns into the other carrier thread and the mods will have to close it. I think we're ALL in agreement that all we want is some info. Those pics are nice btw. EDIT: sniped by Skate and Bigs :)
  14. I understand news is suppose to be coming out later this summer, but no specific news by now is really annoying. The only news we have is all vague. We know elevators work, but will we be able to use them? We know the LSO & Airboss stations, and Briefing room will be operable, but to what extent with us users? We know there's a hangar, but will we be towed to the hangar? How are we going to get to these rooms? Will we be able to walk around this environment and interact with it? But the main question is the parking? How are they planning on handling that? A snippet of info would be nice. At least for me.
  15. I'm waiting on Amazon to restock since I had to return mine.
  16. Yeah I had already setup a refund request when I was getting the power surge message. Doesn't look like Amazon has anymore stock right now.
  17. Can you provide more details than that? Do you have a screenshot? Are you using dynamic or static weather? Just FYI, as is, the devs would look right pass this thread.
  18. Thanks for the info. I was actually looking at that exact same device. I will purchase if I decide to keep the Reverb. I think I'm stripping the screw since I can't turn it(loose/tight). I tried with a flat-head screwdriver at first then a thick washer, but they're all stripping the screw. :( Also, is there a way to re-calibrate the sensors? This just started, when I tilt my head in the cockpit, the view moves away from me. For example, when trying to look at Jester, I can look back but when I try to tilt my head to see him, the view moves away. The same for trying to look around the from console. In the CV1, this usually happened when the sensors were not tracking correctly. EDIT: *Resolved the view issue. I just ran the room setup for seated position again. duh:doh:
  19. I gave it one last try and I got the Reverb to work. I noticed that if I have my HOTAS plugged in and try to plug in the headset, I get the USB power surge message. So I unplugged the HOTAS and plugged in the headset and it works. Plugging the HOTAS afterwards and everything still works. I do have an issue with the the sound coming out of the left earpiece. I have to angle it a certain way for the sound to come out. I'm getting great performance with the settings below in the Caucasus map in the Tomcat(with mirrors). Had to lower the PD from 1.5 to 1.2 and I'm getting ~47+fps in dense populated areas. DCS PD 1.2 (1.0 with clouds) SteamVR video resolution 150% recommended by SteamVR with my setup DCS MSAA 2X Windows WMR display Visuals set to Very High (beta)
  20. Thanks for the info, but I am using the USB on the motherboard.
  21. Just my luck. I purchased mine through Amazon Wed and I just received it, but as soon as I plugged it in, I get a error message saying something about USB power surge. Doesn't seem like there's any solutions to this but to send it back.
  22. Awe man! I ordered a TUSBA from real simulator for my Cougar Throttle, but only a cable was in the package. There was a hole in the paper envelope also. Maybe the other piece fell out.
  23. I'm meaning more info will be provided later in the summer, according to a newsletter.
  24. Thanks for the info. I like the A-10C's pod displays even though they're black & white. To me, it's just a better overall picture than the monochrome.
  25. Was there ever any confirmation on what type of MFDs will be in this Viper? I'm hoping for color MFDs like the A-10C for a better looking display when using the Mavs or T-Pod. I don't like that recent screenshot of the Hornet's T-pod display using that monochrome filter.
