I'm getting a lot of ghosting when in fly-by camera and in the Tomcat mirrors. Also, looking out to the sides 3/9, there's a lot of double vision. I've tried different MSAA settings, but it still happens even on MSAA 0. However, not as much as MSAA 2 or 4. My PD is 1.5 and I'm using the 419.35 nvidia drivers. I've also used the 430.64 drivers. Is anyone else having ghosting issues?

Well I tried this, but unfortunately, it did not work. I've been using elevator 4 so I'll try a different startup position.

I couldn't agree more. This is when I distance myself from the forums, because people like that really piss me off so I can't imagine how ED/3rd-Party Devs feel. People don't realize in software development things happen. Some are actually saying they still should've released the update. Release an update even though there's a major issue with it. That doesn't even make sense. Just wait and chill.

Not really. This is all we know so far. "This product will have an incredible level of detail and include such features as a detailed and operable LSO and Air Boss stations, detailed modeling of the hangar, animated deck crew, briefing room, and control of the carrier." There's suppose to be a lower deck also. Nobody knows how we as a user interacts with these features. I'm wondering if we will be able to walk around to these different sections of the ship?

Hi All, Can someone attempt a carrier cold start on this mission attached, and let me know if the INS alignment works for them? I don't know what's wrong with this mission, but the INS alignment always get stuck at 7 with the flashing "HS". I'm not touching the parking brake at all. When I tell Jester to do a full alignment it ends up getting stuck. I also went to the backseat and switched it to CAINS, but it switches back automatically. If I change the startup to an airfield, everything works correctly. Just for kicks, I lowered the speed of the carrier, but it still gets stuck with the flashing "HS". Thanks in advance!!! I can't lie. I did expect some new carrier news today since the Expo is next week. I wonder if Wags will be able to demo it anyway.

Wags never said it will be in this week's update. He said they will be merging the VR improvements in the 2.5.5 build. So hopefully with this delay, enough testing has been done to include it in next week's update.

I can't wait to see the startup process and hear the engine sounds.

It's the pixel density. In DCS VR options, set it between 1.2 - 1.5 depending on your computer specs.

No, I haven't done that because I've never used my controllers in DCS. I appreciate the suggestion, but its back in its box ready to be returned to Microcenter. Too many issues with it. I'll get it back once they get the issues squared away. It's crazy because it seems like I'm the only one having this specific issue.

Yeah that'll take some getting used to for a while, but I've been in VR since 2017 so that's why I noticed a difference in how low my seating position is in the Rift S. Even in Oculus Home it seems like I'm sitting on the floor.

Yes mine does this also. Even when it crashed on me with sound, but no video the white stayed on. I decided to take mine back. Too many annoyances. I'll give Oculus time to iron out the kinks. Besides, I can use that money for something more necessary, like new tires.:)
