Täuscht mich das oder ist das Teil falsch ausgerichtet? Der müsste für die F/A-18 doch gedreht sein und nicht gerade auf dem Stick. Oder ist das einstellbar? Ein Stick der gerade auf der Base ist kannste nie im Leben ergonomisch zwischen die Beine nehmen.. da machen die sich so viel Arbeit und dann taugt das Teil am Ende doch wieder nix :(

Gibt's bei DCS nicht auch sowas wie SharedMemory wo man all das Zeug auslesen kann? Ich müsste das mal mit PSCockpit versuchen. Zumindest mit BMS sind 7 Segmentdisplays etc. absolut kein Problem zum darstellen. Gibt auch etliche Software die das so ansteuern kann. Ich hab mich bisher mit DCS da noch nicht gross befasst, allein mein HOTAS und die MFD im Game zu konfigurieren is ne Tagesaufgabe :D Hoffe aber es gibt wo nen Menü zum Display zu extrahieren (lokal oder auch via Netzwerk und Internet) und all das Zeug so dass man alles mit nu einem Zusatztool machen kann.

There are versions of F-16 that have them.. but I do not think we will get the software state where they are implemented ;) They also exist on Block 25 and 30 jets…

Also ich will meinen Autopiloten nicht mehr her geben. Schon gar nicht auf der Autobahn. Da ist das Fahren eh kein Spass. Und in D schon mal grad gar nicht, das is der schlimmste Kriegsschauplatz in ganz Europa :D Ich weiss nicht ob es unbedingt 3D braucht. Ich hatte letztens BMS in nem sehr rudimentären Cockpit getestet mit 3 HD Beamern und ner 270° Leinwand.. nach 5 Minuten wird dir übel, nach 10 is es nur noch geil :megalol: Da brauchst kein 3D zwingend. Wichtig is halt, dass die Bildfläche gross genug ist. 55" TV is ja jetzt nicht wirklich was grosses. Das is eher ein etwas grösserer Bildschirm. Bei Gross fängst bei 80 - 100" an. Und dann brauchst auch da mindestens 3 Stück. Aber sobald du keine Umgebung mehr siehst sondern nur noch die virtuelle Landschaft fühlt sich das an wie fliegen..

Ich hab schon einige VR Systeme getestet, aber überzeugen kann mich keines. Nicht nur die Auflösung ist derzeit zu gering, auch das dargestellte Sichtfeld muss mindestens doppelt so gross werden. Horizontal sehe ich fast 170°, vertikal wohl auch nicht viel weniger. Wenn ich im Cockpit sitze sehe ich die Warnlampen unten recht im Augenwinkel immer noch auch wenn ich nach vorne oben raus gucke. Ebenso sind alle Anzeigen im Sichtbereich eigentlich immer gut ablesbar. Aber mal sehen was VR in paar Jahren kann. Braucht natürlich auch ein Feedback und Haptik, so dass ich nicht gucken muss in welcher Stellung ein Schalter steht sondern fühlen kann. Nur so kann ich das Cockpit blind bedienen. Und das klappte damals recht gut. Ich musste fast nicht mehr hin sehen um was zu schalten...

Heli und Flieger in einem Pit find ich extrem anspruchsvoll... kaum ein H eli hat links vom Sitz Konsolen, da ist nur der Hebel. Wenn du aber im Flieger den Platz dafür lassen willst wird das auch wieder nix ganzes … das is schon sehr viel Mühe was universelles für alles hin zu bekommen. Und ne, F/A-18 is auch nicht sooo simple wie es aussieht ;)

Oh, there is a easy manual :D Move stick forward, plane goes down, pull stick, plane climbs.. left and right movement make roll movemnts.. :D And the rest.. there is so much F-16 manual around, ED can´t make an ED version of the cockpit, Switches and functions. All of that stuff exists already ;)

That would be great.. a option to share MFD´s, RWR, HUD, ADI and all the other instruments via a network option…. and not just for F-16.. it should be state of the art in every good simulation since years. But I think if it comes it will be much to comlicate to use :(

That should be possible to all modules. Also with blue bombs, training Mavericks and so on.. Lot of squadrons I know like to train in bigger groups of 10 to 20 players. If they switch to DCS F-16 it would reduce the number of looses during training a lot :D And it adds a lot of realism. Maybe also the option ACMI just possible with installed pods?

If you look how expansive even 10 year old used TM Cougar set have gone the last year you can imagine how much sets you can sell at 300$ a piece…. I started to collect them when they have been between 70 and 100$ a set. Thought it would be a good idea for my simulator if a single set brakes (normally just the electronics get damaged) I have some spare sets. Then I got my fingers on a real HOTAS set and now I start selling my total 9 Cougar sets again. If I set them on eBay I do not leave an auction below 350$ :huh:

Werden eigentlich in DCS auch Fehler der Waffen etc. simuliert? Im RL hat die AGM-65 ja keine 100% Trefferwahrscheinlichkeit, selbst 80 sind noch minimal optimistisch. Kommt das bei den Berechnungen auch zum Zug oder trifft sie im Spiel immer wenn die Parameter passen?

Ich hab auch schon zugeschlagen. Jetzt bin ich auf das Ergebnis gespannt... bisher hat mit DCS nicht länger als 1 Stunde an den Schirm gefesselt, die Flieger waren auch nicht meins. Jetzt gibt's meinen Flieger, fehlt nur nach das drum herum :)
