  1. How long has DCS been around....over 10yrs? And we still don't have the ability to set up throttle AB detents correctly.....setting a user curve is very agricultural.
  2. Received my Taurus and Libra yesterday, bang on seven days since leaving the factory. Reply's to my questions from Winwing were quick and considering the language barrier, relatively easy to understand. Box was well packed with some noticeable changes on how the mounts were stored. No damage or loose screws were found. Throttle - What can I say, it's a thing of beauty. All switches and axis's work perfectly and have a good quality feel to them. I love how all the switches have a separate button press for on and off. I still have to nut out the software but I'm sure Winwing will eventually get some written instructions up soon. It took a good 30mins to get DCS F-18 setup last night. I did have to set up some throttle curves in DCS to accurately locate the A/B detents. Grip and base - I'm surprised by the quality. It feels smooth and comfortable. In fact I prefer this F-18 grip over the TM unit and the Virpil CM (to big). The buttons feel so much better then the TM's....easier to actuate. The extra bindings also allow for a bit more flexibility within the sim. I still have to spend some time with spring tension and cam/dampener adjustment to minimise the center detent (hardly noticeable) but I'm getting there. Accessories - Mounts are solid and strong. The adjustment system on the Super Libra now uses slots with bolts, not clamps. I do have the extension but have decided not to use it due to my seating position. Do I recommend it? Yes, absolutely. It is expensive but I do believe in - you get what you pay for!
  3. Any word on whether the postal system has restarted?
  4. Last line in Supmua's original post.
  5. Looking forward to these panels. Esp if they attach easily to the WinWing mounts.
  6. Great news WinWing. Looking forward to you add on panels as well.
  7. Just received notification of shipment...woohoo!

  9. Thanks....I made the decision to go Winwing and have now sold all my Virpil gear.
  10. Dragon Boat Festival on at the moment. I received an email stating that mine will ship next Monday.
  11. Well looks like the TPR's then......$1000 here in Aus, highway robbery!
  12. Well its extremely minimal....so what's the problem with th VKB's then??
  13. Well get the T- rudders then. If the majority of your flying is in fling wings then the VKB pedals will suit you Oh and by the way, that pic is imcorrect. The mfg's dont pivot in the centre.
  14. They dont move in a circular motion. Feet stay parallel during movement. You remove spring and dada...no centering!
  15. T-rudders - limited to helicopters. The Virtual Toes brakes are pretty dismal. I sold mine due to this aspect. Thrustmaster - Nice but stupidly expensive. If you are considering these then SLAW's would be a much better buy. MFG Crosswinds - Quality, Price and service. Say no more really.
  16. I sold my Virpil/TM/VKB gear yesterday. My cockpit looks quiet bare....just the MFG crosswinds keeping me company.
  17. I ordered the whole kit - throttle, stick and mounts.
  18. Looks like jabbers didn't get any spacers with his review unit
  19. Cheap and nasty.....TM needs to be a bit more competitive with the likes of Virpil, VKB and Winwing!
  20. Nice write up.....just ordered mine this morning.
