  1. Yes, the objects are allready there, they just need to implement them into the ME and everything is fine. Having the speed trees too would be very great too but probably impossible. Anyway the objects are a must, looking at the Nevada map, there's everything we need. Speaking of Nellis AFB.. i started to create objects for it but the lack of time makes it all difficult
  2. No news as far as i can tell, sad to hear, anyway. Do someone have some newer type buildings as static objects and civil cars, I'm not talking bout the civil vehicle mod i allready got this one, I'm talking bout 1 or 2 simple civil cars, sport cars, regular cars whatever.. and building, offices, houses.. some stuff. Please no WW2 stuff ... All the best, lets keep this alive... !!!

  5. Hey folks, shoort question, is it possible to place a camera inside a driving verhicle, like a cockpit view where i can look around?. I'm not talkin bout the free camera F11. I need this for a decent mission and video. the "driving a car" type camera. Thanks
  6. Any news about this, with so many maps it should be pretty easy to update the structure/static Object list.

Hi, pretty similar to my latest thread Long story shoort, they don't need to work on it, all the buildings, homes, shelters, small stuff, fences and much much more is allready there, just check the persian gulf/nevada map. All they need to do is add most of those buildings to the ME static Object list, is that simple Plus they could give us a simple option ro "draw" speed trees across the map. It's all there allready, no textures or models needed, just the simple code to add all that to the ME PLEASE ED.. I'm tyred of building models.. it takes ages... and after some updates most stuff don't work nomore anyway, so we need an official Update
  8. It's been a while since i posted something. To make it shoort, thanks for all the modules but i think the focus should be on different stuff regarding DCS to make this simulation more realistic. ED, please update the Static Object List cause its extremely outdated, there are tons of nice Shelters, buildings, houses, Airbase Buildings like offices etc. It should be very easy for ED to update the static Object list inside the ME so we can use those buildings. Yes i know about Virpil and all that but i'm tyred of mods not working after updates. I've created some buildings myself and it's a painfull long work and some kind of nonsense since the buildings we need are allready there, but not available to us. ED just need to add many buildings from the Nevada and persian Gulf map, so we can finally upgrade the caucasus map with more realistic looking Airfields. Also, why not give us an option to simple "draw" speed trees inside the ME, should also be easy. Please ED make it happen, it would give mission builders a lot of options and Airfields a way more realistic look. Thanks for your attention

Thanks alot, i also figured out that if you set the speed to zero between 2 waypoints it will also work, the longer the distance between those 2 waypoints the longer it will take. but stop condition is way easier, the condition window is empty right, only hold and setting a time on stop position right?, will try it later. Hi, got a question about waypoints and "hold position", or something similar For example: A firetruck should go to a position that i choose with waypoints on an airbase when flight operations begin in the morning. It should for example go to waypoint 5, and stay there for, lets say 2 hours, then it should continue its waypoints to waypoint 8. (Driving back to the Airbase fire department for example) How can i do this, if possible i wanne avoid trigger zones. Thanks a lot
  11. Some light at the end.. Maybe I can share some positive News.. maybe. I'm working on something called "Nellis reality pack", which includes a bunch of new stuff, buildings, NAS Style Shelters, Gates, Approach lights, light enhancement. New Ground textures, Trees, Henderson Airbase and much more. I don't wanne go to deep into my life and how difficult things're at the moment but i can only hope that i get a chance to sell this pack for a few bucks real soon. I need to contact ED as soon as i'm ready.. got love for DCS and the whole community.. :director::pirate:
  12. @voc not yet, it's barely visible in the daytime tho. But the lights on my new static objects do work with the day and night light cycle. There're 3 things you can do in 3DS when it comes to DCS lights. Self illuminating texture, "shining" Omni or Spotlight that reflects on all objects, and Fake light Tga file.. and something that i don't know yet. I've created 4 Spotlights as an object that you can place whereever you want in DCS for the existing Nevada lightning towers, this object is at the same height as the lamps on the existing towers.   13. Lets try again, yes I've updated the existing Towers, you simply need to place that "Object" right on top of the Lightning tower, using the Sattelite map inside the ME
  14. I might have something for you guys. I'm working on a "Nellis/Airbase reality pack" with a bunch of new Buildings, fences, walls, towers, Gates and more. I try to make this pack official. Long story shoort, I've updated the existing light towers with real light that reflects on all Objects The update is just 5kb for each lightning tower and the "object/light" can be used inside the ME Check it:
  15. Topic says it all, please ED can you add some of those Nevada buildings to the ME? we only have a few very very outdated and boring looking Buildings from the very old caucasus map. As a Complex DCS Airbase builder, this would help a lot. I created some myself allready with 3DS but it take years and it sad since all those buildings are allready there. Those buildings are probably locked inside the Nevada.ng5 file. So only ED can help with that Would appreciate this way more then just another plane/jet whatever.. we got way to much allready :joystick: Hope ED can shime in and share some light

  16. I've erased Caucasus, DCS works so far, since caucasus is so damn outdated, very unrealistic Airfields with no buildings, wrong taxi and runways, one texture for everything. Also I don't like old planes, prob planes.. way to boring for me, i guess you can erase them too without a problem, will safe you more then 20Gb
  17. this might explain why some mods causing DCS after the update to crash, after removing the "fake omni lights" (tga texture files) from my 3ds models, DCS works without a problem and my models are visible again. Since those are lights... it might make sense, I wrote ED about it and i hope we get an answer.. most mods causing trouble now which is pretty annonying and sad..
  18. keep us updated.. can't live without the mods, I'm also working on a pretty big "Airbase Reality Pack", Miramar Top Gun Style shelters, New Light Towers, Approach lights, Airbase Entry Gates, Buildings, Palm trees , trees and much more. I try to make it "Official".. so I hope they fix those problems cause i can't see the problem with simple Static Objects... since they have nothing to do with the nevada.ng5 File, which is hardcoded anyway. I still hope ED add some good looking buildings/Appartments from Nevada to the mission Editor. Cause the Caucasus Objects inside the Me look horrible.. 1998 Graphics

  20. Ok, it gets worse. Even my older mission files causing the Game to crash. I'm pretty piss** right now. I placed about 400 Objects, for the first time to me, Nevada map became alive with tons of new stuff. All gone now.. weeks of work. Some Objects are black inside the ME, and then the Game crashes. I've sended 3 crash reports. I wonder what the update did to static Objects... sorry but i don't get it.. simple plain static Objects.. I'm in contact with a Guy from ED, hope he can share some light. I hope they fix it.. to me the Update did nothing positive so far then a lot of headache
  21. Tangos APU Mod seems to cause trouble in my case.. which is a very very very big problem for me. I'm working on an hopefully "Official" Airbase reality pack with many new Objects, Top Gun style shelters, Approach lights and much more. I've builded a big mission so far which i cannot load anymore because somewhere in my mission is "Tangos APU mod".. maybe some other mods too that might cause trouble, but without Tangos APU mod i can create a mssion at least again in ME.. that was impossible too before.. Is it somehow possible to load a mission when a mod is missing???? DAMNNN IT...

I've updated DCS to DCS 2.5.5.31917 when loading one of my missions or creating a new mission (Nevada/Caucasus) the mission editor stops loading, no crash or error report, it seems to get stuck at the file Terrain Graphics Init : 97, nevada.ng5 , I've waited 5mins but nothing happened. Everything worked fine before the update.. Maliq
  23. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but i'll do it anyway. Do we have a touch n' go waypoint? I'm all about to make DCS more "alive". I'm allready overhelmed by all the flyable Jets. I think ED and 3rd partie should start to focuse more on Ground Objects for the mission editor, moving ground crews and much more like a touch n' go waypoint. DCS got the most potential out of all sims i've ever seen.. If this is the wrong place to ask, maybe someone can be so kind to put this question into the right part of the forum.
