I don't say it is the correct procedure, but i just set a CRS on HSI with the Tacan as waypoint with right final bearing -9° of the BRC. Quite more easy get the approach right.

I am glad i am not the only one and it is so a common thing. I come back to DCS after a long time and was used on the AGM ripple starting with TPOD or GMT radar without much problem on moving target. I was really annoyed by the undesignate thing. ( AGM SOI > uncage > undesignate for slew ). Each time it will make Tpod view reset instead of stay in place. you loose completely the area point of view on the tpod at the same moment you undesignate when AGM is SOI. So using TPOD again for designate other targets for the second AGM dont work. There's still the mark point option but still make one step to do more in the process. Now maybe is it possible to do this ? TPOD SOI, designate target > AGM SOI, designate target > TPOD right sensor switch, for exit PTR mode > AGM SOI, undesignate for been able to slew the target. ( TPOD should not reset view as it is not designate a target ? ) I am largely able to shoot 4 targets in a dive, but after pickle the first target, i just use next AGM's nearly on manual, just keep the plane direction on target zone. looking HUD for designate the zone and manually slew next AGM's to target. Using radar instead of FLIR for track the target can be a solution,, it is easy to take back the target designation if needed with it I understand that the hornet is not intended to be used for this type of attack with AGM's anyway

we are not speaking about a flying model ... just replace the MI model static object with the one we ca see flying... it is not hard ( will take me 2second to do it in the lua ( ok 10 minutes. ) .. and you are done.. Its just something developpers have forget, dont need a 13 pages on thread for this... There£s many static object who are still lying them from the first iteration of the developpement. DCS are considerate as the most advanced flight simulation ( maybe because they are ) who care about static object.

Can you check the setting on your CCC ( 7770 driver ). Set: - AF = Use appliccations setting - AA = Use appliccations setting MSAA Filters = standard, ( dont set adaptative AA or SSAA as it will conflict with in game AA ) all setting by default and check MLAA is not enabled as it will conflict with it. If you force some setting under the catalyst control center, it can enter in conflict with DCS game settings. I use the last 13.5 beta 2 driver and no problem with it.

Same here, x52 .. No deadzone, and a curvature of +15 on cyclic axis ( i will look for confirm ). With the new Flight models, it is night and day compared to the previous one i was able to Hover, land " more or less correctly" on helipad, like in any place with the previous FM, but now it is waaay more easy and the Huey is waay more stable it was before. Practice ofc help, you will start have a good idea of the position of the stick and how the hover react to horizontal speed change, vertical speed change etc. Then you will anticipate and so start get more and more control on it, then you will play with thoses reactions and use them .

I have just disable " Gforce head movement " in the settings. the front panel "shake"; but at least the "camera" is more stable. With this enabled, i find them extremely exagerate, without its fine. ( this said i too reduce them when "flying". )

I let you try imagine the pain with an x52 " not pro" .. its way more easy with a good hotas who allow you to keep the cyclic in a position and can do the correction easely around this point. i take the exemple of take off and hover, you have the cyclic back and on left for correct the rotation etc ) at this point you do only some little correction around this point, but the x52 is not enough precise for do that correctly ( damn ring on the feet of the joystick ). Well it ask a bit more of training, im ok now.. but it remember me air refueling on the A10. Ofc having rudder pedals is too a must.. ( using the joystick, you ofc loose a lot of motricity in your hand by using the rudder this way ) As for the OP, i have the feeling what you are experiencing is what i have got some times with TRIM.. no more control after press it and release it, i need reset the Trim for got control again.

I have find it really sensitive on pitching up and down with collective increase or decrease same for and correction when you are slowind down so you really need control it smoothly and dont overract or you get the feeling it goes in all direction.. really need to be extremely slow on collective correction or it will start pitch up and down and it increase the rolling effect. ( i will decrease the sensitivity on all my control axis, including the collective ).

This is a simulator..... not something who are called " simulator", If something in the mathematic is bugged, they will solve it.... dont worry..but its not as easy of increase the damage of a skill like in wow.. DCS world is complexe ... and if you change something, you will need to be sure it dont break another thing then.. The simulator is a niche cause it is complicate, it is hard to learn, and he need a real investment of the peoples who play it, this is absolutely the reverse of all want any gamers today, they want be good fast, they want understand how it work fast... They dont want to have to read the manual, and even less to study pdf, procedure etc for hours, days.. But i think the community around DCS, simulators, want it, they want to play, have fun, but first they want to learn...

Well, tesselation have been developped and shown the first time with the X1900 series by ATI ( 5-6 years ago ? ) , since then all gpu made by ATI / and AMD had a tesselation unit and was capable of do tesselation. It is now part of DX11... ( as many other graphics features developped by ATI /AMD, download the developper DirectX SDK, and you will understand what i mean ) .. but tesselation dont really need DX11 ...( but use the code from DX11, instead of use it on his own is a lot more easy at all stade of developpement of your engine ). Im sure in DX 12-13 you will seen too the new MSAA method for deferred lightning render show by AMD with the 7970 demo (proper MSAA or SSAA for the most powerfull system, is really a problem with deffered lightning, hence why now most use post rendered AA with it .... ( you can download and use the code as it is, and the code is given... AMD/ ATI as allways, bring the method to all. lets hope this time it dont take 1-2 years before become a standard, )

Try without Edge detect maybe .... ( i dont know if it have any impact when used with appliccation controlled, maybe it override it at 8x to 12x ( edge detect as his name said it, detect the edge of polygon, for increase the accuracy of the standard method .. could be this. ) Edit: just tested, i confirm it come from Edge detect... at 4x it have no impact, at 8x it add the edge detect even with "appliccations controlled" set on CCC and conflict with the AA of the game. (hence the polygon lines ). Set it to standard ( set replace, and then back to standard, then "appliccation controlled" apply .) Dont forget to change too the profile if you use one .

Many peoples enable MLAA and then forget it is working... MLAA is a post processing /compute based AA, specially made by AMD for work on games who dont support any AA.. basically it take the whole image after it is rendered and use algorythm for apply AA where it think it is needed. The problem with MLAA or FXAA, is the text are offtly too Anti-aliased, the text become blurry ( could be the reason of why he see the whole cockpit blurry ). Standard MSAA, dont blur textures, SSAA can even increase the textures quality ( the frame/image resolution is doubled, AA is applied then the image is reduced to the resolution of the screen, But Edge detect based AA or FXAA can result of blurry texure in some games yes.

haa you mean mobile GPU .. my bad .. i have not take care on the mobile CPU, i was think to desktop Kepler , so it is a GTX675M (based on GTX500 fermi ) Nvidia inspector is a sofware from nvidia who allow a bit more optimisation on driver side. Many use it hence why i was speak about it. For AA, some force FXAA, or setting on Nvidia CP and offcourse it can cause trouble on some games ( and particulary the one who are made for it ) -
What driver are you using ? with 12.7beta and 12.7b ( 8.982 ) I dont have any problem like that. Check AA is set to appliccations controlled in CCC. MLAA disabled AA mode is set to "MSAA" ( no adaptative or SSAA). But i suspect it come from something else.

I believe by GTX 675 you mean GTX670 ? Check maybe on your Nvidia CP or inspector if all is set by default ( including AA ( no FXAA ofc, and let the appliccation control it ).. Little question, does your friend have the same 600series from Nvidia ? -
For Ka 50 ( Black Shark ) i suggest you to dont buy it by Steam ... because they sell only BS1 and the upgrade to BS2 need to be anyway purchased on DCS site . It will be better for you to purchase it directly from DCS sites . ( dont worry files to DL are on the site and the key activation in your account . ) For A10C, you can purchase it from Steam, but sometimes the update was not made at the same time they was released by DCS and as now all DCS Simulators are in the same environnement, DCS World It is really better to buy it directly on the site. As you will run the game outside steam anyway ( DCS World is a global environnement who include modules: A10C, Blackshark 2, P51D beta and Combine Arms beta ofc if you have purchase thoses modules ) You can use the Steam activation code on a full install outside Steam anyway if you have purchase it from Steam. But right now i think it better to buy it directly outside Steam. ( for by example activate A10C in DCS World )... but again why purchase it from Steam when you will necessary got it outside Steam then, in DCS World. ( and so the game will be installed 2 times, 1 time in Steam game folder and 1 time in DCS World ) So far for what i Know, Steam dont sell DCS World, nor BlackShark2 ( Ka50 v2 the updated 2012 version of KA50 ( who run with the same engine of DCS A10C )

I believe some have allready post it, but video training dont work ( other training of the P51 and A10C are working fine ) . It just concern the training video's of BlackShark 2 and the SU25T .. ( downloaded and installed ) ( at the moment you click "start" and the video should download > DCS.exe have stop responding ) Not a big problem as we should be able to read them directly without enter DCS.

As said RIK, i have the feeling both A10 and Black Shark 2 is not activate for you. Maybe a bug with that. If you pass the activation, you will enter the "mission" but cant fly. ( you see a F2 external view and thats all ). It have happend to me yesterday, i had BS1 purchased by Steam, and ofc no code is given, but i had installed BS1 and BS2 outside steam... i have need download BS1 by Steam again ( game is automatically activate ), and then use the BS2 upgrade for DCS World 1.20.. ( if i remember well i have then install KA50 1.1.2 (non Steam version ) then upgrade to BS2 , and then it was ok with the BS2 upgrade for DCS world, or maybe directly install the BS2 upgrade 1.20 ) The fact it tell you the game is purchased in the icon happend at the moment you have install the module patch ( KA50, A10C ).. not cause it is activate. ( For get the code of A10C on Steam it is easy, right click on the game in Steam and you find it )
