Could someone please clarify this,I mean this was happening to me,ie: controls locking up after switching to trimmer then trimmer reset,I had the "center trimmer" box ticked Is this a feature? If so what does it achieve? Is it better to have the box unchecked? I am sure when I did the trim function was working no bother, Cheers guys, Mick. :)

Can't help with the mission score I'm afraid,but I just flew that mission and was quite chuffed when I managed to stay the course right up till I tried to land. :( An hour and ten mins flying just to fireball it on landing. :cry: Brilliant fun though, Mick. :thumbup:

I must admit that when I first saw the $49.99 price tag I was thinking it was a little steep as money is really tight for me at the moment. I put a little aside for the last couple of weeks and purchased today. After flying around and trying the campaign I can honestly say it is WELL worth the money, Anybody sitting on the fence with this should go ahead and buy it you certainly won't be disappointed,honestly. There isn't a huge choice out there for this kind of high fidelity sim,the nature of our hobby dictates paying for quality and for the amount we spend on our rigs and controllers,$49,99 really isn't that much to ask for this IMO, Well done Belsimtek a very good product indeed, :thumbup: Cheers, Mick. :)

@EthereaIN, Hi buddy,just a wee thanks for what you are doing RE-April issues,I realize it must be a nightmare and a thankless task,but just having someone here to answer our questions is a relief and puts a lot of minds at ease. :thumbup: I myself got the said e-mail RE-a BS purchase after I paid with a friends debit card. I have checked my purchases on the ED payment site and it lists it as a paid purchase. Can I assume that with this ED got my money,or is further action needed? @Demongornot, I agree on quite a lot on what you have to say regarding the DCS engine,but until we see Outerra perform with the same amount of objects,discussing how it would perform is a moot point IMHO. Outerra is obviously a beautiful game engine that shows promise, but it has been available for quite some time now and if as good as what it claims I'm sure someone would have picked it up by now. I know we seem to be waiting on EDGE forever but all we really can do is wait to see how it performs before commenting on it. I really hope it's all it is cracked up to be,as a lot of people will be sorely disappointed if it isn't. Mick. :)

Okay, please help. I am a total novice with the editor but have been dipping my toes into it recently. Thing is I cannot find how to change the time of day.I can change the weather and season but can't figure out how to , or where to change the start time. A couple of questions, :) Does anyone have any info/video links showing this wire cutter in action in real life? Is the model that Belsimtek are releasing the model we have in DCS World now, or is it a "reviewed" model, Is the sound/start up animation the same as in World or is/has it been tweaked? Yeah it was the torrent that wouldn't execute, it D/L no problem but when I double clicked it to execute, no joy.? After all t6he bloody hassle I've been having with this, no doubt it's me. Mick. :)

Thanks very much for the explanation Demon, This is exactly what I did and it just gave me a ground with the red/yellow "missing texture" effect. I have tried numerous times taking my time between steps to make sure I'm doing it right but no cigar. :( I will try the JSGME version from Mastiff and see if that works. LOL what a palaver,heh,heh. Just tried again for the bloody umpteenth time and still just get missing texture emblazoned everywhere when I fly. :( I tried with 7zip, and winrar to no avail, I tried opening the zip, copying/paste texture file/overwrite existing and re-zipped,still nowt. It won't let me add to archive for some reason, pulling hair out now. :) Think I will give this a bye for now. :( Mick.

Hi guys,looking for a little help with this please. :) OK, from what I understand, after downloading I have to put the relevant texture into the same zip file, ie: summer/winter, etc. I have Winrar but when I try to add the file to archive it won't let me. I tried unpacking the archive, adding the texture and re-packing but that just let me fly around with missing texture emblazoned on the ground. :( Is there a certain way to go about this, a certain version of Winrar? It is only the free version I have does that matter? I appreciate any advice, maybe the steps to take as I obviously am doing something wrong. Just now I am right clicking the texture file and selecting "add to archive" and try to add it to the relevant zip file in, C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures But as I say it gives me an error saying something like "cannot add to archive" or along those lines. Who would like an Apache? Hi guys, Sorry if this is in the wrong place,please move it if it is. :music_whistling: Now that the awesome looking Huey release is imminent, I was wondering how hard it would be, I mean we have the Black Shark, soon to be Huey, great wonder digital stuff in the A-10-C and an awesome looking model of the Apache in DCS World. How much work do you suppose it would take for them to combine all of these with,I assume data and AFM they may already have to make a great package in the AH-64? I know they plan the Cobra, but hey C/Mon an APACHE? I am looking forward to the Huey release and still kicking myself on missing the sale for the Black Shark, I for one would die a happy man if they announced they were looking at a future module of the Apache, how say you? :thumbup: Cheers, Mick.
