prices Jeezz $3.80 a gallon, here (Scotland) at £1.50 a litre works out at £7.50 or approx $12 per gallon yep running yr car/van here is getting harder by the week,sometimes daily. :(

price? Yep average for a new game,but It isn't a new game you are getting it's only an aircraft to play in the game you paid for already.Saying that I don't think the price is over the top and sounds reasonable to me.

tracer colour I am sure it does matter where you observe the tracer round from eg: As the tracer round has the lighty up bit in the rear of the projectile only the person firing can see where the round is going so the person on the receiving end can't spot where the firer's position is.At least I think so.:)

WoW! Now this really has stirred the "hornets" nest eh?.TBH I think a lot of the negative vibes are because everyone was all fevered up,expecting the next release from ED was going to be a jet of some sorts "American fixed wing",because we had all the polls,wish lists and different expectations in mind and they then tell us it's going to be the mustang. Think that if ED told us the next release was going to be "X" but it was one of the jets that most of us were hoping for,then after that or maybe after Nevada,that there were going to be a flying legends Mustang release I think there wouldn't be so many negative posts,or disheartened souls. I myself was a little saddened at first I must admit,but,after a calm down,take it in,think about it time,I now realise it will be awesome to fly a plane like the Mustang modelled like only DCS and ED know how to do. While I personally don't go for the "buy it just to fly it" sims,I am sure there are plenty of scope in the world of DCS to come up with sufficient scenarios to keep us busy until the proper release is announced. Hi folks, RE:External features,I didn't know this till I was watching a youtube vid a few weeks back about an air show with some A-10's flying about,with a commentator on a PA system. He was telling the crowd about the plane and especially the paint scheme under the cockpit (the black oval) and how it's there to confuse ground forces as to what angle of attack the plane is at and if it is coming toward you or flying away from you.I had noticed said black spot in the sim many times but never paid much attention to it,but for something so simple it is really quite ingenious how it works,as when you are looking at the plane from underneath or on the ground sometimes it really is confusing for a second or two to figure out which way the aircraft is turning,either away from,or toward you,giving the pilot a few more seconds I suppose,pretty cool I think. Is there any other examples that a paint scheme is used in a similar way eg: to confuse an opponent? Mick.
