The mats are perfect. You can either leave in the original green former that goes on top of the foam or take it out and maybe get three layers of mat in the cushion. I sat on it for 3 hours last night without any problems. I told my wife that real pilots would be jealous..lol

I may have to join you guys if you know if the sim will run on win 7 x64. I also play SH3 / SH4 / Sh5 The problem i had with DW was the sonar would not display anything it would get a ping from and someother issue so i gave up on DW but it it will 100% work on win7 64 bit please let me know.

I have a set of aces ii seat cushions that were worn out and needed help. I found a $20 yoga mat at wal-mart and used one layer for the back and two for bottom. Now these things are so comphy it's like dr scholl's for your backside.

I am in the early stages of building the ufc and have the pcb "Radio Shack bread board" about half way complete. I still need to install the leds for back lighting and wiring everything to the leo bodnar BU0836X. I have two super bright white 3mm leds installed for the master caution light so it should be nice and bright. The master caution button is made of yellow acrylic so it will be bright yellow when it lights up. The leds are connected to a phidgets 1031 led control board which helios controls. The black ground wire is also solderd in place and ready to be connected. Again i am just putting it all together so credit goes to: 1. Pitbldr for the UFC Panel and tips. 3. I did solder all the leds and used heat shrink. I also taped them all together just for added support. I have a UFC and a CDU in the works from pitbldr so bee looking for updates. Update! Is this lcd the one you used for the CDU panel i bought from you? If so do you wan to sell the lcd and pcb to make it work?

I use helios on a 21' HP and use capt loz 1.33 profile here http://www.scsimulations.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=81 Now look at the pic below. You have to hit the cdu osb on the right mfcd to get the full cdu on one screen after you touch the hidden cdu/caution panel tab on the profile. Hope this helps.

Hey Pit! I have my new caution panel working thanks to you, phidgets, and the makers of helios. It turned out very well. I picked up some 3mm superbright white leds here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/component-leds/white-3mm-led-30-degree-viewing-angle-8000-mcd/303/ It's better to go to bright and turn them down then not go bright enough. I will post pics and a video soon. Thanks again for the great panel and can't wait for more.

Thank you for posting this.. you gave me some really good ideas for my build. an idea i have is possibly use tow of these for the mfcds like you did then customize my helios profile for all the other front console gauges. That way i can resize and position the gauges for a more realistic feel...
