Doesn’t the aircraft use different methods of determining slant range if there is no laser? Like map system, radar etc. Or, did you see the laser indicating it was firing, you don’t mention that in your post just that the slant range updated.

RAZBAM hasn’t implemented exporting of the MPDs & MPCD yet. Which is probably part of that process. Hopefully soon though.

I don’t have the F-14 so a quick question. Can you silence Jester completely and just have the command wheel?
-
Someone earlier in the thread said they crack the airbrake open in the flare if they are floating during the flare to make it settle to the runway. I tried that and it worked quite nicely.
-
And thank goodness for that.

Hi Swift, I was referring to Adrian858's post.
-
Correct, however, it depends on the year your mission is set in. I think any mission before 1996 is pre GPS and requires INS updates which isn’t implemented yet in F-15E apparently. There is a setting though that forces GPS on for all years.

@Adrian858 You're right! It's not there... I was working from a GR video I saw pre-release and Cap showed a drop down of the three options. Sorry about that. I always use the start unaligned so never checked in the special tab. Wonder why they took it out?

Engine sounds have an audible loop. Breaks immersion.

I’ll admit I’m no spring chicken at 60+ so my hearing isn’t the greatest but I didn’t hear anything in your clip except a continuous ECS sound. Sorry -
It could be your INS alignment is off. Did you do a cold start? Just to confirm it’s not anything to do with your alignment go to options and set alignment preset to always aligned and try the mission again. If it is still a problem then you know it isn’t your alignment. Sorry guys... The drop down to choose type of alignment isn't there. It was a pre-release video I saw it in. null

Nice. Any idea if it passes IC in multiplayer? Update: It doesn’t pass IC. Still a nice option using a mod manager.
-
Would that mean the ASL is moving closer to the target because there is less time for the wind to affect the bomb fall trajectory. So correcting the offset as you approach. Just a thought…

All I hear is the ICS. What audio settings do you guys have? -
Ah well, hope dies last…

Not an assumption. It’s obvious by the current function of the TSD. Or, are you implying that future upgrades will include the ability to remove the map overlay?
-
Thanks. That's surprising, didn't realize it was such an old version of the F-15E, old tech I guess.
-
I'm going say no. It's all WIP being an EA module.
-
I've checked the manual and cannot find a way to turn off the map overlay. Anyone found out how to do that? Perhaps I missed it in the WIP list. I always turn off the map in the other modules so it's easier to see the symbols etc.

Perhaps your speed is too low and it's starting to oscillate. The A/P does not control the throttle, you have to monitor it.

Truth ARM505.

Seems fine to me. Gamma set to 1.8 and no ReShade mod etc. The HUD gets a bit washed out into the sun but that’s normal. I do prefer a well lit cockpit over the dark ones, the Mirage F1 was way too dark.
-
In special option I set the AB detent to 70 and idle to minimum. I don’t use a curve. AB seems to kick in just as I push through the detent.
-
Try “synchronize control settings” in options. Or, did you do that already?

I've always installed DCS in it's own drive (in my case F:) without any issues. It's on 1TB SSD as well and both DCS and "the sim that shall not be named" reside comfortably in it with lots of space. I've not had to use a junction. I'm going to look it up, learn something perhaps.

I missed that to, must be catering to the VR mob and ignoring us flat screen peasants. Hmmm... I wonder if we can do it the old way it was done by modding the Lua files ourselves. Time to dig out my old notes. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rats, they're not in the Script folder.
