    Mirage FPS issues

I use to always install DCS in the root directory in it's own folder (or folders if also running the beta). I seem to recall this being recommended a few years ago. Recently (after a nice sale on SSD's) I have my flight sims on their own drive which has worked flawlessly. Might be something to look at. Glad you got it figured out.

    RWR test

I believe the location of a radar source on the RWR (whether inner or outer ring) is based on signal strength not the level of threat. So initially the missile is the weaker signal than the supporting aircraft so the RWR places it it the outer ring. As the missile gets closer it will transition into the inner ring. However the most important thing you still get the warning sound (Pitbull) and the azimuth of the missile which is critical.

    F-15E?

Look at Falcon BMS ZHeN. It's an older sim graphicly but does a great job simulating the F-16 with its A/G radar. There are a number of training videos on line which shows how they operate and will give you an idea.
  4. They like to keep us guessing... :)
  5. That is slightly different to how I do it. (Non FFB) 1- Press and hold the magnetic brake button and maneuver to my desired attitude. 2- Release the magnetic brake button once it is how I want it. 3- Return cyclic to center. I'll have to give your method a try. Doesn't the SAS fight your corrections using your method?
  6. It means the enemy aircraft has put you on the "beam" of his aircraft, the 3-9 line. When they do this they are attempting to break lock by entering the "notch" in the tracking radar caused by ground clutter. It seems it's working quite well.
  7. Now you're talking, F-16 would be awesome. Sigh...unfortunately DCS does not have a A/G radar, perhaps some day.
  8. Excellent. Looking forward to the next update. Which I believe T_A just confirmed as 2.5...:music_whistling:
  9. I think if you already tried to tune the axis you cannot go back to linear, 0 curve etc... and get them to work. You will have to reset your controls and start again. Set the slew axis but do not try to tune them. Perhaps wait for the next update and do a clean start, might even be sorted by then.
  10. I'm with Chuck, can't wait to get the CF-5. Purchased straight away.
  11. Hmmm... Lazy is not something I would ever attribute to you based on the excellent tutorials you are always producing. Tired maybe :smilewink: Thanks for the update Chuck.
  12. Nice, looking forward to getting rid of the gunner. Do we lose some weight as well?
  13. Nice. Looking forward to this. Thanks guys.
  14. Do a quick search. There are quite a few threads on it.
  15. I have no curves or dead zones on my Warthog. However, I do have a small dead zone on my CH pedals (bit spiky) and 10 curve.
  16. Nice instruction Chuck, good to know it's doable. I would love it if you could do one showing the control panel in the corner so I can see how you use the controls during the process.
  17. Thanks Cap. Looking forward to it.
  18. I have that still in the Nevada "Take off" mission. Haven't tried the "Cold Start" mission.
  19. So, Flagrum you are saying the laser works correctly in the A-10C module for range finding. Which leads us to believe it is not working with the Gazelle. Correct?
  20. Nice work as usual xxJohnxx  Between you and Chuck I get all the instruction / training tips I need. Now to do some RTM'ing on my own... :book:
  21. I agree, this would be a great "next video" subject.
