  1. $49.90 for UH-1H, and in that module there's no advanced systems such as onboard computers, radar and so on.
  2. No. Mark my words, It will be $39.90 for either the F-15C or Su-27S, $59.90 for a dual pack.
  3. ECM will make a difference against the low level threats. Finding every threat through vision alone is nearly impossible. When you're over enemy territory you should fly and use counter measures as if you know there are AA threats aiming at you. Either go low and fast in order to use terrain masking or high so that IR missiles won't reach up to you. When exposing yourself in an attack run where you're low enough to be shot at by IR missiles, start pumping flares until you're back in relative safety again.
  4. Well, the result of this poll is hardly shocking. Also, the result is completely irrelevant as it stands to reason that this forum is not even close to representing the overall customer base of ED products.
  5. I'm guessing that the "new" F-15 will be "F-15C for DCS" and that aside from AFM the aircraft will only have a few small improvements (i.e. increased realism) over the FC3 Eagle. The rest will be in the "DCS:F-15C Eagle" module that can be bought stand alone or as an upgrade from "F-15C for DCS". There needs to be enought difference between the FC3 Eagle and the AFM Eagle to warrant a purchase as well as between the AFM Eagle and the DCS: Eagle further down the road. This might very well be a good way for regular FC3 customers to gradually be turned towards higher fidelity simulations. Everybody wins! :)
  6. Yes. It actually got stuck like that after flying away from the chopper. I wonder if it can chop the heads off of infantry :D
  7. CBU-97/105 is no problem for me, only the CBU-87/103 creates massive frame rate drop. CBU-97 = 10 submunitions CBU-87 = 202 submunitions
  8. Hmm.. I noticed that you have a new avatar, might there be a AT-802U on the way? ;)
  9. Get a room you two. :D Also, this update better be good because it's my birthday. I want something really good for my birthday, please ED?
  10. The encyclopedia states 45 km for range, and that is approximately 28 miles. So... huh?!?
  11. Do the space key work in other places in the sim?
  12. What version of the game and which tutorial are you running?
  13. Not necesarrily, you could have been found and gunned down without the Su-27 using it's radar ;)
  14. There's really not any point in having more than 8 GB RAM in a gaming machine, if you're running very many applications at the same time or a several virtual machines, then sure, but for games 8 GB is plenty. OP: You should add an SSD as a primary disk, it'll be worth it, speeding up load times, both to start OS and software, but also to make dynamic loading of assets in game smoother/faster. Also, that CPU will not be stellar for gaming, at least not for DCS, that model cannot be overclocked very much due to it's multiplier being locked, DCS is quite CPU dependant, so the faster the CPU the better. Also, that motherboard does not support overclocking.
  15. What version of A-10C is it you have installed?
  16. Just start the alignment process ASAP during start up, then it will get ready while you're flipping the rest of the switches. Also remember to start the TGP and align any Mavericks ASAP. Edit: I got sniped! :)
  17. They could have launched in good weather and several hours later ran into bad weather. It could happen I think...
  18. Pfff, I've landed on the US carrier @ 35 kph with the A-10C, so landing the Hornet will be a piece of cake ;) Instrument landing on your home carrier in a storm at night after a long mission, that's going to be exciting :)
  19. This will do it. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1753128&postcount=2
  20. Remove any and all TM software, unplug the stick, then check in device manager if you get any reaction when connecting it again.
  21. Did they really promise that? Remember that everything is subject to change ;)
  22. This is good for stationary targets, but if the target is moving, start the laser pretty soon after release or the bomb will lose the laser reflection or just not be able to adjust enough at the end.
