  1. here is the complete log file if anyone can take a look at it let me know what might be wrong with the menus not coming up. dcs.log.txt
  2. Does any one know if this is some thing to be concerned with in the log file 00033.804 ERROR COCKPITBASE: devices_keeper::link_all: unable to find link target 'ElecInterface' for device 'XM_130'
  3. thanks for the comment, last night i reverted back to an old version of the mission and the comms are working so i will start looking at the differences. i think it has something to do with the farps or helo's thanks 76th Falcon
  4. Well I am home now and have disabled all the mods except slmod and the same reaction on the mission. here is the log. thanks 76th Falcon
  5. I have been running seperatist Agression mission for years now and in Patch 1.2.7 it appears the Comm menus do not appear in multi player. When i press the mic swith on the hotas it does move the graphic in the cockpit on the throttle but the menu fails to show. When i hit the LALT + Num + Keyboard keys the right throttle moves forward instead of bringing up the menu. Now before we go down the keyboard mapping issue i have verified the keyboard mapping and the menu's work when not in multi player online. it also work on other missions that i have. things to consider is there are mods working on this mission: SLMOD, MIST 2.0, (Mist 3.2 was tested with same result, i do need to upgrade this) and cTT. Last night i tried reloading these mods in the mission ( CTT and Mist) same result. I have not tried removing them yet i had to go to work. Which bings me to why this thread has no log files or tracks ( i know you want them i will get them when i get home later tonight) but i am at work. I feel this may be related to the CTT script because it is manipulating the comm menu by adding the F10 options to load and unload troops but i am not total positive on this one. the really odd thing is the fact that the throttles move when hitting the LALT + NUM + & LCTL + NUM + , When i hit the LSHFT + Num + the Mic Switch in Game ( in the cockpit ) does move the mic switch UP. Well here is the issue and this is was to add information to the comm menu thread posted in the beta area. thanks 76th Falcon
  6. ED, So many fixes, and a lot work put into this release . Great job and open beta is a great idea for these large updates. I would like to say thank you guys for all the hard work, keep it coming. To bad I am work and will have to wait to update. thanks 76th Falcon
  7. ED, Just want to say thanks for the Patch and the hard work it appears we are fixing the some big issues, helping the mission designers so more missions will be available and still working on the stuff for the future. looking forward to putting this patch in and helping in finding any instability in MP. I say keep up the great work, enjoy the holidays. thanks 76th Falcon
  8. ED, I have to ask If we are going to get an update to fix the refueling, comms and ILS between now and the release of edge in Q!. Some one indicated that refueling was fixed internally but I think this was just a member not actually official. By the way nice work on the video looking forward to the release, and thanks for keeping us informed as to the progress. thanks Falcon 76th
  9. Nirvi, Thanks for the update I guess we will just have to wait....... thanks 76th Falcon.
  10. That is funny, how did they train him to do that............nice.
  11. This is not a big issue but when asking for a repair in the a-10c there is no "Requesting Repair" Audio. I looked at the audio file location and it is missing. I recorded one myself and placed it in the directory and it worked fine but it would be nice to have the stock audio voice. thanks 76th Falcon
  12. ED, Was wondering if we could get an acknowledgement that this error has been reported and being worked on. It seems to be a pretty significant issue to some of us. I browse the forum frequently but have not seen anyone say confirmed, logged and prioritized. (Bottom of the list, but prioritized none the less) Know you guys are busy but this one has been a while. thanks 76th Falcon.
  13. Linx, you may want to look at the windows firewall. you will have to open the udp port on it also. I do the program exe just to be safe. A test would be to turn off the window firewall, also Virus software sometime come with firewalls. my only other thought would be to change the port when hosting the mission to say 30111 or similar and open UDP 30111 on router to the Lan ip of your computer, also open 30111 on local computer. these are just suggestions that may help. thanks 76th Falcon.
  14. Shadow, Not sure here but I think the change is pretty simple here. Previous you had a pull down and select lan or Public Now you have check box checked is Public unchecked is LAN the function is still the same just a different selection. Hope this is what you are looking for. I don't believe any functionality has changed. thanks 76th Falcon
  15. you may want to look at the triggered actions on the unit itself. thanks 76th Falcon
  16. I would suspect that you are looking for the curvature settings in options | controls | select aircraft sim | select axis |then X or Y Axis | then Tune. You can set the amount of saturation and input the joystick has to the aircraft. Caution: This does change the dynamics and flight characteristics of the aircraft so the rule of thumb is as little adjustment as you can handle. As you get more comfortable with the feel of the aircraft adjust the curvatures back to center ever so slowly without loose the stability of your formation flying. The tanker is a good solid pilot to formation fly at 5-10 ft off the wing as he will be the most stable. if you can hold pattern with him at 5-10 through out one rotation then your curvature are set correctly. thanks 76th Capt. Falcon.
  17. DEV & ED Team, Yes this includes the tester and forum cops. thanks for all the work, I have enjoyed many an hour flying in the dcs world. The future is looking extremely promising and exciting so I just wanted to let you it is really appreciated. thanks 76th Falcon
  18. Geert, In the mission editor: 1. click on Ai Huey 2. go to Weapons Page ( where you assigned miniguns) 3. on the right pain should be your fuel amount Slider and Gun Ammo. i believe you should be able to tell the how many rounds to take with him 50% 75%. I am at work so this is from memory. thanks 76th Falcon
  19. That is just some sweet work you guy put together. Wags and Team thanks for the work and all the improvements this week. Back to work now for me, otherwise we will spend all day talking about aviation aircraft. Can't wait to get home and Fly. thanks 76th Falcon
  20. One way to look at it..... Nate.. Watch the 'hard deck' it approaches fast....... for some.
  21. Bucic, That MI-8 is awesome, can't wait to get in one. thanks for the for the video. 76th Falcon.
  22. awesome thanks for the testing and thanks for fix
  23. Wags, I am not sure what the reason for stopping the weekly updates was, but it does seem it comes down to a couple of possibilities. One: it is time consuming to get information from the different departments every week and publish the content (it is getting in the way of the ladies, let's change the night to thursday). Two: You are tired of hearing people complain about things you aren't doing instead of focusing on what you are doing and the end game. Three: Neither and we have no idea what you are thinking and therefore we will not change or correct our way of doing things. I personally enjoy the weekly updates, because I feel every Friday I get to come by your office and say 'Wags, what's going on this week.' I get to hear from you personally what is going on. If we go to a monthly news letter, then I loose that personal touch. Your weekly updates makes me look further into the forums for answers like: 'changing the Radar and EOS code' I have to ask my self what is that and how does separating it help in future module updates. So I go to the forums and look for answers to how this has been an issue. But these kind of one liners will probably not be in the news monthly. It seems to me that since we are all adults we just need to set some boundaries and expectations. I would not be offended if you were to say, 'hey can we change our weekly office visit to every other week. I am getting slammed with everything else and just don't have the spare time.' or 'you know every time I give you an update you always talk about what we are not doing can we focus on the goals we are making.' Your personal comments and participation on these forums is very important and we always like to have in depth conversations about what you and the ED teams are doing. I have two requests here One: If the weekly updates did not get the right reception, what were you looking for and maybe we can make it happen. Two: Don't stop coming into the forum and giving us stuff to discuss and talk about. (Remember: I have a choice to read those who know stuff and have proven their knowledge and those who are just talking) As a friend to friend who have never met, keep your office door open. Next time I will bring Irish coffee and we can discuss the challenges of keeping thousands of friends you never met, happy. 76th Falcon
  24. Gray, Made the changes last night and it works now, did not have a chance to test the actual missions on blow up of the Ammo dumps, as they did not come up. pretty sure they are working though, thanks. Also in 1.2.3 the missions only ran for 5 hours this sems to be fixed in 1.2.4 ( Awesome), along with the F15 are not flyin into russia and getting themselves killed or running out of gas.(sweet ) so thanks ED, graywolf and the support team for the Hard work and improvements. Now off to work. 76th Falcon TFB
