  1. you will need to go to the top left area there is a rectangle with made of squares. click on this to reload your modules. next to that is you options menu to change your options. you also need to make sure you are running the single player Grey Icon as there was a bug for the multi player icon not launching because your were not logged in. the single player will ask you to login, just use your ED id to get in. Right side shold be al your multiplayer, mission editor, ect. thanks 76th Falcon

  5. coming I late to this conversation but maybe run it as administrator. meaning right click on the updater and select run as administrator. could be prompting for creds in background that you are not seeing. just a thought so take it with a gain of salt 76th falcon
  6. yes but for a multi player mission this is not great as not everyone has that set. I would be nice to be able to control the radio chatter. in the a-10 not so much an issue as you can change channels but not as easy in the f15.

I have a mission with an AWACS in it and some f15's along with several Russian flights and the AWACS calls out every plane that takes off, status as they fly. it would be nice to either turn it off and have the AWACS respond to Bogey and picture calls only. I have tried the stop transmission and the silence but neither of these seems to do what I want. thanks 76th Falcon
  8. looking at the CTTS I would have to say that the name of the dropped unit is not staying as extract1 it is more then likely changing and therefore you are getting an error because extract1 no long exists. There does seem to be a way that you could put a scheduled task in the CTT script to check the health of the dropped troops (DroppedGroupBlue) i believe is the table holding the dropped troops names and you would need to go after this since an unlimited number of troop groups can be picked up and dropped off. This makes it difficult to know the name and you would need the name to trigger the smoke. secondly you would probably want to kick off the messages and smoke markers in the CTTS since your schedule task and all the information about the troops are there. you would also need to deal with units that were completely gone and those that were already brought home. At this point you are a little beyond my skills since i am not a Lua coder give me powershell or vbscript and i am your guy but i have not learned all the caller in lua. Right now i am not available to look at modifying the ctts script for this purpose as i do not have access to test it but maybe in a few weeks. Grimes, speed, ranger79 and many others are extremely at doing this kind of stuff but they may want contact the original author before modifying his code. It appears Angel is the last author of this script. love the idea it is just going to take a few lines of code to get there. 76th Falcon
  9. ESAc_matador The following works do trigger.action.smoke(mist.getAvgPos(mist.makeUnitTable({'[g]extract1'})), trigger.smokeColor.Orange) end changes: remove the space in 't able' change the "orange" to trigger.smokeColor.Orange works great. thanks 76th Falcon

    kippy, you may want to try this script it will set an auto lase on troops and you can use LSS mode to track your targets. it can only be one unit in the group so I just spawn the lase unit when the convoy stops by using mist scripts to find their location and so the unit spawns in the center of the convoy like it got out of the truck. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=141297&highlight=auto this script works very well the author did a great job on it. 76th Falcon

Ciribob, Tested the new version and it appears to work exactly as expected, nice job. when the laser locks on, the hud gives a dash line for the direction and the tgp transitions for detect to track. TMS up locks the target as expected. For my own script I set the JTAC_smokeOn = false and added a argument to JTACAutolase to be able to set to true if I want the smoke.   17. ciribob, this is a really nice mod and I am using to solve an issue I am having with a mission I am creating. The convoy moves along and is right on top of the enemy units but when called they respond with no targets. very frustrating. I do have one issue though and this could really be me but. when the laser detects the target I am unable to lock up the target without turning my laser on. if I just tms up short the tgp snaps back to the jtac and losses the target. it appears as if the a-10's laser does not follow the search and end up on the target. steps: 1. jtac lases the target on 1688 2. slew the tgp to the jtc 3. turn on lss on 1688 4. laser searches and detects target 5. push tms up short ( tgp snaps back to jtac) alternative: 4. laser searches and detects target 5. Turn on A-10 laser 6. push tms up short and then long 7. Target is locked and executed with sever prejudice. Not sure this is something that can be changed since it appears it is the planes laser that is not ending up on the target. Keep up the cool work, you did a nice job and it work very well. thanks 76th Falcon

Eight ball, Awesome mission, great work. been flying it for the last week and it really fun. staying level and over the pad is tricky but what fun would it be to drag the think on the pad. just wanted to express my thanks for all the work that went into this and look forward to more. nice job 76th Falcon

  21. ED and Crew, Not sure if I going to say this right, but here it goes. We appreciate all the fixes and release that have been released and will be released. I think the anticipation of 2.0 is getting the better of us so we see UPDATE and we are 'Ya I have to get home and get the download....oh it is an update to the current' pause ....' hey look they fixed this, this and added a new module cool'. Keep up the great work and please don't take our anticipation for 2.0 the wrong way. We love the work and for me I always look forward to what you are doing next. thanks, 76th Falcon.
  22. The_soupdragon, let me say yes this is definitely difficult but so it is in RL without taxi direction. I tend to use the HSI to find the correct direction of the runway and to be able to see the airport information in the cockpit I use this mod: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129341 it allows you to create custom kneemap pages and 476th has all the airport information in pdf to put in these. it works great. good luck 76th falcon.
