  1. I guess that depends if you wanna go stealth mode (all internal) or use external mounted slammers as well.
  2. That's a really cool picture!
  3. Not refunded, but it will not be drawn from the credit card. Nothing is taken from you unless the goal is reached :)
  4. Same here, video does not exist...
  5. Damn! Well, the radar is basically a "flash light", but didn't know the radar would make such clear pictures with shadows, or should i say "shadows"? Are those shadows due to the radar not seeing properly behind different stuff in the area it's making a SAR picture of?
  6. That SAR picture looks a little odd... shadows in a SAR picture?
  7. I kinda wish you cancelled this thread, and dedicated your effort elsewhere.
  8. Looking forward to start testing this thing :)
  9. I would take all that with a grain of salt. Here is some other info: And taken from Ben Rich's book about the Skunk Works. A lot of info, and pulling in different direction. Some say it's crap, some say it's good. Truth is, we will never know, and the military will never reveal the true numbers... But it's fun to speculate :)
  10. Some WIP pictures that was posted on the facebook page today:
  11. And I disagree with you :) Modern era aircraft would take much longer to develop, simply by all the avionics and systems you would need to simulate. With a less complex AC, they use shorter time, and it generates revenue. Also remember all the other stuff they work on. EDGE, DCS World, network improvement, bug fixing on existing modules. Just because a certain module is out of beta doesn't mean they have the resources available at that time to start on a full fledge high fidelity fast mover. So in that case it's a clever move to work on a less complex aircraft until the necessary resources are available.
  12. That would reduce the total people playing DCS, and it would reduce the revenue for ED, in the end making it even harder to make high fidelity modules.
  13. A non issue imo. People will buy and invest in the modules that interest them. ED delivers the DCS World core, 3rd parties deliver the product they can based on their experience and knowledge. Forcing everyone to build modules around your personal preference wouldn't necessarily mean you would get an overall better final product.... And there's more to multiplayer then "air quake"
  14. Wrong. The verbal ones on these forums like to think that the community is made up of hardcore simmers. But the truth is that the most-selling product from ED is Flaming Cliff. This has been mentioned by Wags himself in discussions that have drifted into the same area of topic. Myself, I enjoy the A-10C and it's complexity. Do I own flaming cliffs? Yes, but mostly for curiosity and support. I think and hope KI will pull this off, and provide us with an excellent simulation of the F-35. Looking forward to when the project really kicks off, and we can start to do some testing.
  15. Stop being such a pessimist :)
  16. Does it even matter what they do? End result will be the same. The F-35 will be made. If the KS goal does not succeed no money will be taken. If the KS goal succeed, money will be drawn and you will get your rewards when it's done. If they top up the KS them self to reach the goal, nothing changes if they reached the target. Money will be drawn and people will get their rewards when it's done. I don't see the problem here. Relax and hope for a successful campaign :)
  17. Remember this is very, very, very early work. And we will most likely not see anything remotely close to the finished product until next year. But yeah, looks interesting.
  18. Yepp, some of the wording here and there can be confusing. Specially if English is not your first language. But if one read through all the info you can get a pretty clear picture of what they want to do.
  19. First three lines in the kickstarter: General info:
  20. Why do you even care npole? You are not going to back it, and you are clearly not interested in this module. So why do you even post in this thread? Except making a lot of noise and being a "troll". End result will be the same, the F-35 will come to DCS. Question is, how fast. If they succeed with the Kickstarter, I guess it will come sooner then later. Be happy that there are people out there who are interested in spending the time and money to do something like this. Take a chillpill, relax, lean back and enjoy whatever module you like flying.
  21. B and C will be made regardless. It will just take longer time. As they will have to get funding elsewhere.
  22. Went in with the maximum on day 1. Getting more and more confident that I did the right thing. Looking forward to this one!
  23. FYI: ED has already stated that they are working on a F/A-18C, and a 3rd party developer is working on a F/A-18E
  24. Update from Facebook:
  25. Really looking forward to take part in this project :) Wish you all the best!!
