Anyone here using a T-50 with a FSSB R3 base? I'm thinking of getting a T-50 for that base I have. I wonder if the grip is strong enough to hold up to force sensing.

Ya I understand. It's just I prefer force sensing versus moving controls, so I guess I'll be limited to the F-16 grip or T-50.

Doh, no Warthog base compatability for the Kosmosima? I have force sensing FSSB R3 bases (as you know Thrustmaster connection) and looking for left and right sticks for them for space sims.

I'd like to order a left and right hand version of the MCG for my FSSB R3's with Thrustmaster connection. Is this version still coming out?

Yes I saw that, but maybe Virpil could explain why the Delta will not work with the Warthog base even though it has the same connector? I imagine maybe the analog hat and the mouse wheel wouldn't work may be the reason.

Anyone know if the VPC Constellation DELTA Grip will work with my FSSB R3 Warthog base?

I was just thinking the same thing. Although I may purchase this new stick from them for Falcon BMS, a new Cougar throttle would be awesome. Not a big fan of the Warthog throttle. Only left for throttle that is quality is the cougar and the X65F. What else?

Ya, I was logged into the game and module manager. Said to download and install my modules. I still had to manually go to my web site account, copy the serial numbers and put them into the popup windows. As for Mig-15, it doesn't give me the install option in 1.5. Manually downloading the module off the DCS web site only downloads the 1.2 exe. IMO they need to stop calling everything under the sun "Beta" and move things proper to 1.5 or 2.0.

Ya and I've noticed the 2.0 beta only has Nevada scenery. Then I can't install Mig-15 to 1.5 Beta, only 1.2. Very chaotic setup ED has going on here.

Ya, I can't buy the upgrade key so I assume they want you to buy the whole game over again? Also, could someone explain to me the logic of needing three DCS World installs? I feel like I am doing the Habookie-Dance. I have the Modules: Black Shark Mig-21 Mirage 2000 A-10C Mig-15 F-86 So Black Shark only works with 1.2? Mirage 2000 only works with 1.5? Everything else can work with 2.0? Seems very odd the way this is setup. Then I have to enter all serial codes into different DCS World's. Very strange.

Hey guys If I have BS 1.0 that doesn't work with DCS world, do I need to buy BS all over again or will my old serial number work?

I have DCS" Black Shark 1. Downloaded and launched the upgrade to version 2, but now it's asking me for a new serial code. The BS 1 serial is not working. Do I have to pay money for version 2? I've also downloaded the beta for Mig-15 and it keeps asking me for a serial code for that as well, even though I didn't buy yet, just downloaded the demo.

I'll take force sensing instead.

Ya, the OLED is a LOVE/hate relationship. The 4K 55" Curved immersion plus incredible picture quality is amazing, but the input lag does get annoying. Especially doing quick things like turning the head with TrackIR and using mouse cursor to flip switches in the in-game cockpit etc. It's a good display for immersion but for being super competitive I would go with something like a 144 Hz G-Sync monitor. It will be nice when we reach a state of no-compromise displays. Like 120 Hz 4K OLED with low input lag. Maybe once DP 1.3 comes out and a manufacturer has enough balls to make one.

Ah yes, I've seen that before. It actually strengthens the logic of sitting center and close to the screen as one would do with a flight simulator. It's not bad. More like "VIP Medevac", lol. How are you liking school? Hopefully having fun.

Hm, been trying to match up the advertised spec of "3800R" with other measurements to no affect.

Almost all curved displays on the market are 3800R.

Calling TrackIR a "webcam" is pretty silly. It has no normal visible light spectrum camera and lens apparatus that a "webcam" has.

I'm just saying something that required nothing on the head like FaceTracknoIR would be superior to something that requires to be worn on the head given everything else equal. Of course I don't think FaceTracknoIR will be as responsive as TrackIR 5 or ED though.

What would be the least "intrusive" way to track your head with TrackIR 5? A sun visor with the track clip? Are active IR led trackers mandatory for a better experience? Hmm, a box of electronics to wear. Not too keen on that and only 3DOF.

I know Track IR 5 is pretty fast and responsive with it's 120 Hz processing. But I am not a huge fan of having to wear something on my head. No headphones or caps. Are there any other options for Track IR to work? What about face recognition? I have a PS3 camera, but last time I tested it with TrackNoIR you always needed a bright face and there was a bit of lag. Any progress been made on the face recognition front with cameras or software?

Yup! I am flying with the 12th Bn Army Air Operations Group.

For that to work with this large of a screen, you would need a much greater curve and a lot of room. ;) cichlid I just noticed you live right down the road from me, I'm in Lorton.
