В F-16 MFD 4х4 дюьма (или 4.25). В А-10 с 5х5" MFCD. Не вижу в чем преимущество раздербанееного на контроллер ТМ МФД перед arduino pro mini или скажем обычным UNO. Корпус и механику по-любому с ноля делать, если не хотите заморачиваться с DCS-BIOS (рекомендую заморрчиться http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=136570 ) то код для превращения arduino в HID устройство уже есть, минус мигающая кнопка MA (сейчас правда затрудняюсь с линком)

Дело даже не в гугле а в том что на этом форуме размещена одна из крупнейших площадок общения строителей кабин именно А-10 (имею ввиду англоязычную часть). Было бы очень странно если бы информация о таком устройстве прошла бы мимо нас. Не вижу как цена на готовое устройство штучной сборки может быть ниже 200$ . потому предлагаю попробовать собрать самому. В принципе сложного там почти нечего если отбросить подсветку кнопок В догонку, TM MFD копийны не для А-10 а для F-16, главной целью у них был рынок пилотов falcon BMC.

эти тренажерные установки не предназначенны для развлекательных целей в домашних условиях. И поскольку продукт совсем не масоввый то цена соответствующая. Сравнение с самолетами не верно в корне, почти как сравнивать с каким либо ювелирных изделием ультра премиум класса (тут летает а тут за цифру с кучей нолей только блестит, как так?) И ещё раз повторюсь, не было заводского UFC, это не такой большой рынок ради которого трастмастер бы напрягался. вы наверно видели что-то мелкосерийное (причём такого я тоже не помню) Если интересно: Давно было дело собирался в складчину с 3мя знакомыми самолёт покупать для обучения и сдачи экзамена. По деньгам имело смысл , получалось дешевле чем аренда. Так вот само дешевое что нашли и что было нам по карману - дремучих годов цесна 150 (даже не 152 или 172) производства начала 60х, но вполне пригодная к полетам. Цена 20,000. Возможно бывает дешевле , но нам надо было летать (не пугая инструктороа) а не ковырятьс в ней. В итоге правда закончилось ничем, двое откололись, я женился , друг пошёл в нормальное летное училище (сегодня летает аеробусы, пока с права). Так что подозреваю вы видели что-то пригодное для дербана на запчасти

эта ссылка на руководство по выдиранию вью-портов. таким образом выводятся только некоторые устройства такие как MFCD, CMSC. самое удобное на сегодня решение для отображения остальной доски А-10 на отдельном мониторе это Helios: http://www.gadrocsworkshop.com/helios участник Capt_zeen распостраняет для него профили под разные крафты: http://www.captzeen.com/helios/profiles.asp руководства на Русском языке не встречал. кое какие заметки отписал тут :http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=100537 с тех пор что-то менялось в файлах LUA. в целом пишут что по состоямию на сегодня это решение вполне работает, но я на какое то время перестал следить за событиями и подробно обяснить не смогу. надеюсь получите более внятный ответ.

Участник LynxDK собирается изготавливать UFC на продажу. но судя по обсуждению не в ближайшие недели. Я тоже рано или поздно возьмусь сделать несколько копийных устройств UFC, но пока занят CMSP и CDU. заводского UFC никогда не видел. TM MFD ЕМНИП можно назначить до четырех штук, но зачем? дешевые контроллеры - arduino mini pro из китая.

John, have to share Peter's sentiment - hard to recoment anything to you as I don't yet have any hands on experience with this. Perhaps motor from old floppy drive? But then the motor on your picture looks suspiciously like the one

In perfect functioning state, will be packed in original packaging . New ones are 180 on amazon. Asking 140$ , will cover domestic shipping. Could ship internationally, but check if this makes sense to you first - freight will add up as the box is not very small. Paypal works best. Can't wait to get my hands on the replacement :D

The biggest challenge with this I think is room - not doable for individual use unless one lives in a mansion. But several individuals probably could band together to start a sim-flying club and share an expence of renting a basement. This already exists in form of model railroad clubs (those also take a lot of space) l, shared workshops and maker spaces and such. Just a matter of finding enough interested members I wonder if zahry has any plans as far as top visibility - cessna scenic flight will work as is , but Absolute nesesity for dogfights .

Don, I'd argue the use of word "functional" to describe your project. Everything spare MIP is printed and very much decorative "nonfunctional" . And while purely decorative use is fine with me (I had enough printed placeholder items in my flight station) the biggest thing that later on this solution cannot be taken to next level. What would be really usefull if this was a modular framework. There are a plan or two circulating on this form for such framework, but every one of those could use improvement. And your solution could have offered much more function for not much more cost, again especially paired with the surround display system which it fits.

CDU screen can indeed be exported In a form of viewport(as he matter of fact thats how it is mostly extracted so far). But doing so is a load on video system, and as fas I know USB will have further negative impact on performance . Then Ian announced that his DCS-BIOS solution can extract and send the CDU screen as text, broken down into separate rows even. So my idea was to listen to DCS BIOS export stream with exactly that - RPi. Works a treat and on top of that same script interprets keypresses on keyboard attached tho the PI and can send those back to Sim. I was working on making my own keyboard but got sidetracked by CMSP. Ian already posted a link for you. Let me know if you have questions

Its not the strength, as a said I do realise cardboard can be made into sufficiently rigid construction. Its the fact this shortcut is a dead end solution . if one already has the luxury of space why not build proper side consoles for sim devices that can later be populated as funds become available ? The only advantage of this is "here now with 0 effort!". I really like to see guys on this board constantly pushing the quality plank up , coming up with better and better crafted solutions, putting more elaborate stuff out, challenging and empowerig others to follow. And then suddenly there is this cardboard-fantastic " I can't be bothered to take a jigsaw to plywood" thing. Huge step backwards. You have probably the best visual solutuon available for ordinary simmers Zahry, and to couple it to this shortcut seems that much not right. But i guess different people will have different quality standards and demands. Sorry for the rant.

I understand cardboard can provide sufficent rigidity to something like this, but as with the other fast paper pit that attempted kickstarter I think this way to much corner cutting. money being short i can see, but if someone already has the space to house something like this why not make proper framework, populate with printed panels and then slowly replace as funds become available. Wood for framework will not be much more then 350$. So as I see it this offering is for those who need instant gratification

It doesn't take much to evaporate thin layer of paint so higher speeds can be used, 40mm/sec as pictured . was conserned with flashback into the tube so used minimal power settings. Will be etching this tonight. Calum, I assume you have means to drill PCB. Spota to be drilled are marked. If I can send this undrilled then it can be in the mail(with rest of the goodies) to you tommorow .

No more toner transfer for me :) Couple jumper wires will be required here. If this etches ok i will be attempting much finer traces.

It does indeed look better, but while still very acceptable the text is a bit thinner then it should be. Or at least looks that way to me. As for the. "+" sign, perhaps try to remove the inner material with hobby knife so it is solid white? Not critical and Perhaps I'm neatpicking , but that little detail is for some reason an eyesore for me :) And Keep those pics coming :thumbup:

Noise will not be a problem with inductive motors, they are very quiet. As far as size it can be made much much more compact .how about something that looks like AC window unit, or hanging on outside wall altogether? Then there are indoors recirculating filtering solutions for those that don't want to loose conditioned air and heat/cool the street . you will need something to put your machinw on. It might as well be a filtering cabinet. again more powerful fan will be needed to suck the air through the filtering media. ADD: Removing the flat intake is good idea. But realistically that box cannot be made completely airtight with no amount of welding- you need to be able to open the lid. And If you keep it under low pressure/sucktion inside then there is no need at all. For that same reason the fan shoud be as close to final exhaust as possible - any leak ( those wre near unavoidable) will not result into contaminated air leaking into room. Imagine how clunky opening the lid with all the rubberized sealing gaskets and compression latches will be. If your goal is to weld and put lots of effort into improving that end of the line machine then by all means. if your goal is to safely remove the gasses while making sure the physical possibility of leak stays at 0 then single more powerfull fan and low pressure system is your solution. BTW , it's not neseserily more money. Check with your local HVAC place if you can buy a motor out of old unit they about to junk.
