I'm a bit stuck on the following in the manual: - Go to the Keywords Editor and follow the steps to update the VA profile to use the new voice commands: using the imported keyword will execute the menu item command. I can't see anything else in the manual in the Keywords Editor page for the F10 menus. Has anyone else managed to do this? Cheers

Yes. Hopefully tomorrow the release version updater will come out and then 1.5.8 will no longer be supported anyways. Is there a reason why you need to keep 2.2?

I can’t get this campaign to show up in 2.5. I’ve tried the folder in saved games and in the actual DCs mission directory. Am i missing something somewhere?

Hold your horses, Hollywood. We're fixed!!!!!!!!!! I had a problem with Simshaker stopping working which happened around the same time. f410 who made the software noticed a load of old Helios code (which I havn't used in 3 years in the Export.lua file! He scrubbed all that code out leaving me with Simshaker and Vaicom code. Worked straight away. I'm so happy I could burst. Back to flying again. Flying without Vaicompro and SSA was rubbish quite frankly. Rep inbound mate and thanks again.

Mate, your a star. Not only has this fixed simshaker, its fixed Vaicompro as well. A conflict with the Helios code do you think? 10,000 Reps inbound. (If I could!)

Funnily enough Vaicom also stopped working around the same time. In vr I don’t really like flying without Vaicom and the jetseat, so I’ll keep that in. So is Helios code still in there?

Not for a yoystick but I did use one for my mouse which was good.

No, not for a long time, I did use Helios but that was well before vr came along. The only other thing that should be on there will be the Vaicompro entry. I can’t make heads or tails of it tbh.

Thank feck for that. So I’m not going mental then?? Lol. I’ve been in touch with Hollywood, I’ve tried everything so far he’s suggested but no fix as yet. Most don’t seem to have a problem though so maybe there is an underlying issue with some set ups.

Here's the log, Olaf. I just had a quick look through it, it has an error beside no soundmodule. I don't have a soundmodule although I seem to remember accidentally changing something in the SSA setting related to a soundmodule around the time it stopped working mabe. SSA.txt

New code has been restored to the speech.lua files in both 1.5.8 release and 2.5OB. Still can’t change from the default to any aircraft in either, still get no response. When I add a new command to the Vaicom profile such as ‘wheels up’ or ‘pilot body’ it works no prob. So it’s clearly getting some signal.

Can you do that with an analogue axis?

Ok, strange, I need to put them in my My Missions folder in Saved games. For some reason it won't save them to my Mods/aircraft folder/A-10etc/ missions folder anymore. Cheers pal

I had a Windows 10 full install last week and since reinstalling everything back Jetseat works in the control panel app but Simshaker for aviators begins to load then stops. No error messages at all. Have been loving this as well for the last 2 years. Anyone any ideas? Thanks

Lots of people have had bad experiences with the slew. Me included. Not a lot you can do I’m afraid. After the things you’ve tried I’d say the slew is bricked. Mine started when I blew the throttle mobo. When I replaced that the slew didn’t work again, tried 2 new slew switches, and a right throttle pcb without luck. I ended up selling it on eBay for £100 as spares and buying a used one on eBay for the same price!! I did have a good experience with TM though. Good luck with whatever you decide.

As above since updating my 1.5.8OB to 2.5OB and 1.5.8 release I get an error message Cannot open file, recording is not possible C:/................ Never had this problem before. I've tried a repair with no luck Any ideas chaps? Cheers

Tbh I know nothing about development and what it takes to add or remove features but unless I’m misunderstanding your comment, i can’t see how adding a drop down settings menu for each map or some such thing would be more an exhaustive process than the full optimisation of all the maps together. Also from what I’ve been reading it’s not even just the maps but also the modules that go with them, I presume because of the vast array of computer system builds different people are getting different results when adjusting the same parameters. I can only imagine the troubles ED and 3rd parties were having adjusting modules to suit the different maps on three different builds with three different technologies, I guess now it’s only the troubles of optimising modules to suit the three different maps and tech.

Because each of the maps are optimised differently and have different tech in each, I’m having to change the settings for each map whenever I want to fly. I wish there was some kind of multiple save settings feature where I could save a particular setting to a particular map. Think I’ll add this to the wish list thread too. I’m sure sometime in the future all maps will have the same tech and optimisations so at that point it shouldn’t be an issue.

I'm looking to buy the desk mount, warthog plate and extensions from Virpil or a similar one from Monstertech. They look good enough quality, so I'm just asking to make sure - whats are the positives and negatives. Cheers
