Thanks do you ya'll have plans to work on an enhanced flight model? I can state that if ya'll had plans to become official dcs developers the Thud would be an insta buy.

The AGM-78 was phased out of service in the 1980s, about 10 years before the G, So I would expect you would probably be able to get the information for what ever 1970s/80s configuration would be comparable to what HB has already planned. The Terminator I believe is the Turkish name for the Israeli Phantom 2000 upgrade. EW tends to be one of the more secretive aspects of war hence the irony if that were the case.

I got a reply from Corbra stating that they were thinking about adding an Israeli Phantom if they could get the information on how they used the STARM. IMHO it would be ironic if the USAF was more open about the G than the Israelis were about the Hammer.

Someone on Hoggit posted this photo as well as the Falcon and Pave Drag. Anyway I was wondering if HB can comment on the STARM. I would assume HB is working on a STARM for the A-6 however stashing it in the F-4 files doesn't make sense unless HB had/s something in the works for the STARM and Echo Phantom. There are only 2 versions of the Phantom which carried the STARM The F-4G and Israeli F-4Es. I don't expect to get a FF Geasel though I could see an AI one planned. Depending on the block the Israelis started with, I could see that as a possibility, if the difference between a STARM hammer and either our current spike bird or the upcoming DMAS bird is the mcGyver rigged refueling probe and STARMS then that could be a possibility.

This is the right answer. No matter what ED does someone is going to complain. There is a lot of things that ED needs to do, there are bugs that need to be fixed, we also need more assets, and we also need more modules.

I understand due to the nature of EW some things will never be modeled, however, I know some time ago there was talk about an EW/IADS module. I know that's gone silent, however I'd love to see something worked out so we could have AI jammers, Wild Weasels and a better AID

Improving DC's AI so we have an integrated air defense system would be ED's job, so I didn't mention it here. I'm not saying it shouldn't be done I'm just saying its ED's job not HBs

This is why I'm specifically asking for AI Weasels, as I expect that EW is too classified for an FF Wild Weasel and even if I am wrong about that, I'm not sure if there is enough interest to justify a G module (I'd buy it if it were possible). Anyway as an AI asset, we would get the G in DCS with the minimum effort. The only things HB would need to worry about with an AI G is changing the payload and antennae on their E model and ad a line about an HTS if it would change the AI's behavior.

Any idea on when the historical mode bug will get fixed, now that we have both F-110s I plan to build some 1970s missions with historic mode on.

It depends on whether or not you want to see the Jaguar in DCS. If you do then ask away, the worst thing that will happen is no developer will work on it the best thing that happens you'll have some developer contact you to be a tester. The Jag would be cool.

Awesome job, So far my wishlist of what I would love to see added Enable Jester to fly while refueling- it might be considered a cheat by some but the backseater had controls and I've read at least one F-4 pilot say it was easier from the WSO seat Add jester context function to the AGM-65 (if this is already done but I'm just missing it let me know)

The only usaf fighter in dcs that might be able to make a carrier landing would be the F-4. Even that is questionable because the landing gear are different The F-16 or F-5 should have their tailhooks ripped out

Someone else has brought up the issue of hard wing vs slated I will also bring up the fact that Robin Olds flew the F-4C and according to a late Phantom pilot I followed the later variants had a slightly lower thrust to weight ratio do to more avionics. I would agree we need someone to provide some feedback here. I hope we can get a Greek or Turkish pilot to comment on the flight model.

I hope that @NineLine or anyone else on the ED team could answer this. What gets modeled for an AI plane flying SEAD? For example if would it matter for the AI if an F-16 has a HTS?

I would like to see them removed from the list but show based on the user's performance settings

I have heard you couldn't fire the gun pods and nose gun at the same time. Last night I was flying a Chico load out and was able to do that. So I added a third gun pod. So was the F-4 pilot not remembering things right as he never saw the need or is this a bug?
