Nice work dude. Do you have any larger sizes for download?

No one is dissing anyone's favorite voice program. The reason that people are talking about Mumble, and not about TS or Ventrillo, is that Mumble is Open Source. This makes it a very flexible solution for integrating with DCS.

That sucks... I was hoping to go out and pick up a couple of copies from the store...

Easier way of picking out targets?
LazerPotatoe replied to Frakin Toasters's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Yes, but what resolution are you running at? Cheers, -
If the laser designator is damaged, shouldn't there be an indicator light, or some indication?

improved calculation for missiles versus armor penetration: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=596912&postcount=46 Probably won't get disabled tracks/systems for a while though. -
.ogg is compressed, so you may see a bit of performance loss, as the game would have to decompress when it plays. But it is probably not a significant amount.

The magazine was only published in February, so this news is not _that_ old. I wasn't aware. Thanks for the heads up.

Mission: Flexible Defense (SP/MP)
LazerPotatoe replied to MBot's topic in User Created Missions General
I totally agree. The sound quality depends on the source frequencies, and the compression algorithm and rate, etc. When I said better, I just meant that the file size is usually smaller. Cheers, -

wav format is typically uncompressed, while ogg vorbis is compressed better than mp3 format. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorbis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wav -
couldn't you find anything heavier to load on her? LOL

"C1 (often known as Halt) is a state where the processor is not executing instructions, but can return to an executing state essentially instantaneously. Some processors, such as the Pentium 4, also support an Enhanced C1 state (C1E) for lower power consumption." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Configuration_and_Power_Interface "SpeedStep is a trademark for a series of dynamic frequency scaling technologies built into some Intel microprocessors that allow the clock speed of the processor to be dynamically changed by software." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedstep Might have to worry more about heat, with these turned off?

I found this problem too, when trying to simulate combat insertions. You cannot seem to get the transport choppers to go low to the ground. I hope someone has a solution!

Not speaking for ED... 1) I would expect it to be more like "DCS:A-10" 2) In DCS:AH-64A, it is supposed to have dual seat capability. Whether you use it for instruction or not, would be up to you.

Cool pit. I like the dimensions, and the car seat _must_ be more comfortable than a regular office chair. You might want to check out the sim panel tutorial in my sig. It's easier than you might think for a simple panel. I don't have much electronics knowledge, I just know how to solder and a little about how switches work. Anyways, I'm sure the great community here will give you a hand if you decide to take the plunge in the future. Best Regards,

Thanks, bookmarked. Is the force feedback strong enough to allow trim to work as is should in BS?
-
Cool. Are you going to post instructions on the FFB modding?
-
Awesome. This makes me eager to start playing some campaigns.
