  1. Unfortunately, it can't be viewed from the escape menu. You have to back out to the main menu and go into options -> special to change it.
  2. If you have some time, please consider contributing the community keybinds project! https://github.com/Munkwolf/dcs-community-keybinds
  3. @haz Do you happen to know the thread size for the extended bolt? And how long of a bolt did you buy? I'm looking at these binding barrels as a way to potentially fill that space where it goes through the damper. Do you have a caliper that can measure the inner diameter of the hole? Just curious. My damper shows up Friday but if I can get a head start on ordering the right hardware I'd like to do so soon. I'll also report back if I can find some sort of sleeve that will fill that gap inside. https://www.mcmaster.com/steel-sleeve-bolts/steel-binding-barrels/
  4. Awesome! I really appreciate the tips. I'll probably hit the cam with a little heat to loosen the bolt and take it to buy a new one. It looks like it's about double the length based on your picture.
  5. Thank you! I just ordered one. Could you provide some details about how you made the connection here? Did you replace the stud on the cam itself with a much longer one?
  6. This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Thank you so much! Is there a specific seller you bought the damper kit from?
  7. I am using an ultrawide monitor with a 16:9 monitor above in a stacked configuration. Today, I set up a monitor config to use both monitors at the same time so that I have more vertical FOV when flying. This works fine, aside from one thing: the FOV/zoom on the 16:9 monitor is just slightly too zoomed out to match up with the monitor below it. Is it possible to have two different zoom levels on each monitor? It's not unplayable the way it is, but it's so close to being perfect that I'd love to tweak it that last little bit to make it right if it's something that's supported. Thanks for any help. I've attached my config file for anyone looking to use a similar configuration. StackedMonitors.lua
  8. Hey Munkwolf, I submitted the PR with the MiG-21 bindings modified to work with the control mod. The bindings have been a community effort going back years in that thread but the two main contributors that should absolutely be credited are Colseg who started the thread way back when the module launched and Sunski34 who has continued to contribute bindings. I'm sure there are others as well that deserve credit so I hope they post here. I've also added a post in that thread encouraging more people to contribute to the community bindings project. Thank you for the work you're doing. Having this all in one place and handled in a reliable way with Quaggles' control mod is the best way that this has been implemented yet. I came across this old repo yesterday and it contains many bindings I wasn't aware existed, especially for the Viggen. I wonder if he'd be willing to help contribute his binds to this project? https://github.com/joaomcarlos/sw_dcsw_custom_binds
  9. There's a new way to add custom binds without having to worry about your default.lua getting corrupted due to an update. Please see this thread and contribute your custom bindings!
  10. That did it for me! Thank you so much!
  11. This is a good starting point: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2354901&postcount=51
  12. Just what I was looking for! Thank you!
  13. It's funny how much more modern this make the cockpit look. Nice job!
  14. You're in the MiG-15 subforum. The MiG-21 one is here: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=379
  15. I'd definitely pick it up for $15. Not sure if Belsimtek is just out of keys for some reason or if they actually limited the number they would sell at that price but at this point I figure I'll just wait until the next sale to buy it.
  16. Yeah, what the ****? I pledged $40 to get all the planes and now this is going to change? Well. guess I learned my lesson to never fund a project again. Nice job ED. I already own the P-51 which I purchased for full price. We should at least get the choice of two planes if you're going to **** us like this.
  17. Check my sig. We do weekly "noob nights" and are a super laid back group. We also do sim racing and Arma 2 and 3.
  18. Your processor needs to go. In fact, it's time to upgrade that machine. At the very least, you should have some form of i5, preferably a K model that will let you overclock to 4.5GHz, and a GTX660Ti or GTX670. Also, 4GB of RAM isn't going to cut it. Time to double that.
  19. Yeah but the main thing is that a real Ka-50 cyclic holds its position when the trimmer is pressed. You can only get that effect in a sim with a force feedback joystick, which most of even the highest end consumer ones are not. Therefore it works more intuitively to hold the trimmer, move the stick into position, then release. It's not 100% realistic, but it's close enough.
  20. If you put it in the folder and replaced the existing file, then you don't need to enable anything.
  21. So even when you buy the aircraft on Steam, they still have limited activations?
  22. As said earlier, there needs to be a system where you can put both your BS1 key and BS2 upgrade key into a form and have it generate a BS2 full key. Either that, or look for BS1 on Steam when activating a BS2 upgrade key there and then tie BS2 to that account if it exists. I would prefer Steam over the Starforce limited activations, but I just wish that this could get more streamlined. Regarding the conspiracy theorists, I love how you all make such a big deal about a list of serial numbers when the NSA is reading your emails and listening to your phone calls. It's ****ing ridiculous that this thread has devolved into such idiotic speculation instead of actual discussion on how this system can be better.
  23. Zaelu (or anyone else), do you also know how to limit your left and right head travel? I'd like to limit it to realistic angles so that my head isn't spinning around in a circle.
  24. Without a clickable cockpit, I won't pay more than $10.
  25. Neither is all that great. You'd be much better off building your own. Check out http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc for tips.
