  1. Not a game bug at all, but more so missing documentation issue. Absolutely no mention of the UK RAF & FAA (Fleet AIr Arm, aka Royal Navy) under the 'Foreign Service' section of the manual included with the initial release. Sad face, literally unplayable
  2. Engines, APU, and rotor-brake. (well, that combo worked for me last time had to repair)
  3. Update required the 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable' package to be present. If you PC didn't have it, it was installed for you hence the reboot.
  4. You may have to comment out / remove the viacom entry within the export.lua file to completely disable & remove from DCS.
  5. > If only there was a checklist I could keep handy to make sure I don't forget it during startup... https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321322/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321891/ Chose one to your liking. Add to kneeboard, and start her up!
  6. Bailey's: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321355/
  7. Pre-purchase (as stated on both the ED online store & Steam) Release date is somewhere Q1 2022.
  8. D'oh. Self inflicted. Thanks for the correction

  10. Untick 'realistic TDC slew' within one of the menus. Some controllers (Do you have a virpil throttle?) cannot process both the button depress & direction (U,D,L,R) concurrently. You lose 'realism', but gain functionality.
  11. Behavior maybe 'as expected', either: Asymmetric thrust, with left engine generating slightly more thrust than the right. Check RPM or fuel flow differences on the IFEI. Crosswind component pushing the aircraft.
  12. I cannot find the post, but there was talk of implementing a 'mission cartridge' type of system to match real-life hornet behavior; that you set a whole bunch of presets on it and it's automatically loaded at start time. Be it things such as mission targets, position format (DDM, DMS etc).
  13. Mileage may vary then. I play a lot on the Hoggit servers, using JDAMs in PP mode, and use the above method to input target co-ordinates from their WebCGI page.
  14. Change co-ordinate input format via HSI->Data->A/C ( on far left), toggle button is bottom right. Not in front of PC to get exact button text or screenshot, but maybe mentioned in either chuck’s guide or the ED Hornet ‘early access guide’
  15. Explains a lot. The HARM overriding RAID/FOV press when TGP is active has been annoying me for ages. Figured it was a bug, and was going to report it until I found this post.
