  1. Is it that the gun sight glass can now be folded up?
  2. Hi, Not sure if this has been mentioned by someone yet, but since 1.5 in the cockpit of Russian aircraft (I've tried the Mi-8 and Mig-15) the gauges are labeled with Chinese characters. I already tried a repair DCS, did not fix it for me.
  3. awesome!
  4. Really? Is this new? I never noticed that this was necessary in prior versions of DCS...
  5. Great work, impalor. Hopefully this will help the devs get to the bottom of this!
  6. Still not working in 1.5.1:cry:
  7. Thanks gospadin! Didn't see that bug report!
  8. Hi, This doesn't seem to work any more since the latest patch of a couple of days ago. I copied your default.lua into the correct folder, and the alternate flap commands appear, but you can now only assign a keyboard command or rudder button to it, the other options are greyed out. In particular I would like to assign those to my warthog throttle, but I cannot select it. Worked perfectly until the latest patch. Help!
  9. This bug seems to still exist in the latest 1.5 patch of a couple of days ago. Why? Shouldn't be too difficult for the ED team to change the setting for Ultra.lua just as Mustang did:doh:
  10. but are the hardcoded numbers at least now the correct numbers, or do we still need to change those by hand?
  11. anybody know, did this get fixed with today's hotfix 3, or do we still have to manually fix this as per instructions in various posts in this thread?
  12. Yeah:)
  13. new towed cargo? that would be sweet!
  14. Hi Sith, Not sure I agree with you. Most of us report that things are fine (or at least acceptable) if we use FLIR in CCD mode, and the drop in FPS occurs only if we switch to WHOT or BHOT IR mode. If all three were causing low FPS, I'd buy it that it's an issue of low VRAM, but it is not clear to me at all that on the same system CCD works fine, but not IR. Wouldn't understand why IR is more VRAM intensive, unless there's a bug or something like this. And to say it again, I have 4 gigs of VRAM.
  15. Hi, Could you explain those code lines a little bit, please? I would really like to have this feature for the L-39, but unfortunately those code lines look like gibberish to me. And I don't want to mess with the system files by adding code that I have no idea what it does and how it works.
  16. I have a 4Gb card, but get the same huge FPS loss when switching the TGP from CCD to either WHOT or BHOT mode. Cockpit screen resolution: 1024 (Not every frame) Monitor res: 2560x2440 Single Geforce GTX 770 4Gb vram
  17. is there any ETA on functioning wind screen wipers? This is a glaring omission on an otherwise stellar module...
  18. Just installed it on my kneeboard, works great!
  19. Quick question: Can these be added to the airplane specific kneeboard? (If so how?) Is the format (font size etc.) going to be readable at knee-board-size?
  20. Sorry lanmancz, didn't see your earlier post about the magic rudder. But now that 2 have raised this question, hopefully some answers will be coming. I am curious to find out if this behavior is realistic.
  21. I have a question about the FM: when I push the stick to either side to start a turn, I noticed that the slip ball remains dead centered without me ever having to use the rudder pedals. Normally one has to use ailerons and rudder to make a coordinated turn, but no rudder needed in the L-39. Does it have some auto-rudder functionality mechanically built into it, or is it just so benevolent in its flight characteristics, or is it a bug in the FM?
  22. There are two places where flat shadows can be selected, ordinary shadows and terrain shadows. Do I understand it correctly that the "highest" setting/realism is to have flat shadows off for normal shadows, but flat shadows on for the terrain shadow? Correct?
  23. Have to agree with the OP, especially the buildings look too blue. Can't make a screenshot now, but will do later...
  24. Thanks, will try that tonight.
