  1. My F-15C bleeds speed like crazy at max pull. Perhaps your statement is an exaggeration? Have you tried this again, or even tried this at all? Regardless, your opponent in an F-15 really shouldn't be pulling so much until it's necessary. The idea is to keep your speed constant. Now with the new engine AFM, the F-15 has the ability to keep the speed more constant and more able to avoid your shots.
  2. How will you ever become a better pilot if there are always balanced variables? Some of us probably enjoy disadvantages here and there and use those disadvantages to our advantage. ;)
  3. Good to hear. As for you asking for a suggestion, I was implying that turning down your saturation will decrease your roll rate within the Y-axis. Because at 30 curve, you have a steeper/sharper drop-off towards the end of the input curve, thus a quicker increase in your roll rate the further you pull. Turning down the saturation in the Y-axis will level that steep curve out a bit. Having a deadzone will cause a jerky feeling because your inputs suddenly kick in after a certain length of pull. If you want more feel take out the deadzone.
  4. Using CH Fighterstick also. For roll I found that going with a 24-26 curve and toning down the Y Saturation to about 75-80 helps. For pitch, I have generally the same values. No deadzone, no need. Still tweaking, but try that out and report back. I'll check back in, as well. Best,

  6. How about we all wait until ED finishes coding and developing some very important factors for DCS World that will better enable production of modules that are wished for so much in these forums? Really no way to tell until those variables are included into the equation. Those 30 year old planes will be easier to produce once a protocol (that includes new improvements to engine, coding etc) for DCS development is created. This is a project still in development, people.:) That is all.

  12. That's impressive, Prowler. Hoping that learning DCS is going well for you guys. For me, it's really enjoyable to sit back and watch this thing (DCS World, and 3rd Party content, etc.) take shape. I don't mind waiting for this one bit.
  13. I used superglue to fix mine. The clip broke at the same spot as Eldur's. The glue works like a charm and the clip feels more stable than it ever did before. The joint at the base still moves and provides a proper adjustment for alignment. I've dropped it and bumped it a ton of times since applying the glue and nothing phases it. Also, no hassle with a tape wad or slipping out of place from tape not being tight enough. It looks like it did before with the glue. Superglue....

  16. I say yes without having read the entire thread. It probably has already been mentioned and to me it seems that having civil and commercial aviation available could/would possibly attract more attention by those 3rd parties who are in the biz of making map scenery.
  17. I'll have to check that out! Need to re-learn Modman, I haven't used that in quite a while. Skate, does having a mod like this complicate the version update process? Hoping there is a thread to read about this.

  21. Perhaps y'all could edit and run a couple missions for a while (during what we all hope will be a short time period) that will have slots labeled for "steam" newcomers. These slots would be air starts in which they would start out flying with a less complicated loadout for them to use, thus letting the sim-fever work itself out? The ones that catch it would come over to the darkside, and the ones that don't...fvck em.
