Belgian Air Force F-16 RIAT 2010........ we need a DCS F-16!
That display blew every other aircraft out of the water, including your Hornet, super or otherwise.
It impressed me more than the Raptor!
I'm not anti Hornet- I can't wait for it! But I'd also love, love to see an F-16 too
Myself and my wingman were doing some formation flying in the evening with nav lights on. We noticed that if we flew approximately 200m away from one another we could no longer see the lights of the other aircraft. Even though they were on.
EDIT: Purchased
Hi does anybody have a HOTAS Cougar they are willing to sell?
I'd be hoping for a member in Europe preferably and also unmodded if possible but I am always open to those from outside Europe.
I'v lost plenty of bids online and am sick of last second bidders just nipping it.
I am willing to pay very reasonably for a good quality set.
Thanks.
Ya thought I might get an F, cold war, tow slugging beast! . But I'll be very grateful and take the G and hope for the F and W in the future!
I'm considering getting one of these and want to know,
Is the stick and throttle made of metal like the the Thrustmaster cougar and warthog?
or are they plastic
I really hope they will make one as I believe there is a big market for it, I'd prefer both!
But if they decide on only one then I'd hope they make a replica of one OR the other and not some awful hybrid mix of the two, they are similar but not identical especially since the throttles are very different.
I hope the D9 will grow on me. But I am surprised because as far as I know the fighter collection do not own a FW190, and the only original left in the world is an A5
As long as DCS has been created, the release of all the DCS aircraft has been about March, April and May timeframe, or maybe that's just the time I bought them, I'd be surprised to see any DCS (only) aircraft before Q2 2014
I hope i'm wrong! :)
I'm hoping somebody out there can help, I want to know if the F-16 throttle for the cougar can be connected to work with the warthog stick?
does it work correctly?
This is a look to the future in terms of upgrade.
This is something i'd really look forward too. At the moment there isn't very much variety from outside the US and Russian units. Love to see a larger amount of Ai units. Perhaps this could be taken up by a 3rd party.
The images below show the errors. The F-18 canopy is jettisoned, albeit the wrong colour, but it remains on the aircraft and in the open canopy position.
Four people eject from the KC-135!
Thanks Druid, you really are extremely helpful!
I thought it wouldn't matter where I put the Search then engage, distance wise from the waypoint, I assumed they would make their way to it, more of a probing attack my fault.
I'd love to see all the Ai models upgraded to the standard of the Mi-26, F-15, F/A-18, Il-76
,KC-135 etc.
Some of the models are from the Lock-on days. the S-3 and Ch-53 for example.
Hi,
I'm reporting this issue with the escort command.
When the escorted aircraft is attacked as in the mission file. Only the lead aircraft engages the threat. The wingman, (different paint scheme) heads back to base every time.
Also the aircraft don't engage when they are supposed to. In the mission it's set to 50 miles. They don't react to the threat until about 18 miles. Escort Error.miz
I added a tanker for them, but even A-10's without any burner don't make much of an attack. They fire their mavericks, set up for what looks like a couple of attack runs but then break off and leave. They won't employ their bombs.
I want the Ai to attack a certain group of units and not everything on the battlefield, which happens with CAS, you've no control over what they go after.
They are not running out of gas or chaff/flare.
For example today I had two Su-25's attacking an Armour group, they were fired on by IFV 30mm cannon. They jettisoned all their weapons and immediately RTB. Making no attempt to carry the fight to the enemy.
To me the Ai units seem rather limp. I hope it's just something that i'm doing wrong.
The number condition is the actions sequence number in the actions list panel.
Hope this helps about the number.
