Is it possible to get rid of the modules that are grayed out and those that I have already. I have FC3 installed so don't want to be looking at F-15 module to install etc. Not a big problem just an annoyance.

SOLVED I have set up all my cougar Axis in the control panel, change the toe brakes with the micro stick etc, but DCS World can only recognise 5 of the 7 axis on the HOTAS. If I want to use the microstick I have to swap the antenna and the range axis in the control panel before DCS will recognise them? How can I get it to see all my axis?

Thanks Homefries. that is what I was trying, but no axis is recognised when I slew around the microstick. I dont have the mfd's unfortunately. In the calibration process, the microstick works but is't being picked up in DCS.

I tried the Absolute SHKVAL Horizontal, Vertical Slew way, but noting happens when I try to assign the axis. I have unchecked the toe brakes as an axis in the control panel and the microstick works in the control panel but not in the sim it seems

Is there any way to setup the microstick (Radar Cursor) to slew the Skhval around in the Ka-50? I can't manage it at all so far :joystick:

I am interested in this stick as I hate the way mechanical (spring) sticks pass through neutral and bounce back to centre. I have it in my mind that this stick would be really really smooth to use for helicopters. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

There are more videos on youtube of people reviewing joysticks and HOTAS setups and track IR with this thing than anything that's a flight simulator, I cannot fathom it at all. The only space simulation is of a space shuttle (space shuttle sim 2007). Why are people investing so much in joystick setups to play something that isn't a sim, the thing cost a few hundred too I believe to get early access?? What is going on? Is it just me or is this all madness? I can see and have no problem with the cost of sims cause they're such a niche market based on real world machines, this is a game of make believe. It appears to be driving the cost of joysticks up too!

Im gonna go with the GTX 770- 780 is just way to expensive!

Hi there, I would like to dip into the silent hunter franchise, I have never played them and would like your opinions on which is he best? I am considering IV and V

I'm using a 5770, with 14.4 drivers, performance was excellent when I got A-10 when it came out but it's only been getting worse since.

I have reached the point now where I can no longer keep reducing my settings every time a patch comes out to lower and lower graphical levels just to get a miserable ~25 FPS out of DCS. :joystick: I envy the videos I see on youtube .So as I write this, I have come to terms with the simple fact I need an upgrade. Since the GPU is my bottle neck I decided this to be the best course of action. I have been offered a cheap 560Ti from a friend, but im playing around with the idea of shelving out for a GTX 760 or a R9 270X. Similar price range. What would you guys recommend? I have an ATI card and find problems with most simulations. Seems to work fine for games but kind of crap for simulations. I also play Rise of Flight, Il-2 CoD, iRacing, rFactor 2, Assetto Corsa and FSX along with some strategy games like Company of heroes 2. Thanks
