No it's not tinnitus or a wingman, just my own A/C. I recorded a track but the noise does not show up in the track, it sounds very much like an RWR noise almost.

The briefing pics for my missions are not fitting into the space. I'm not sure why this is happening?

The Warthog is the best, fullstop! Seriously it has the most accurate stick and anybody who has one swears by them! A vast improvement over the Cougar.

I noticed this just after 1.2.4, When I jump into a Russian aircraft sometimes there will be a very loud solid noise coming from apparently the left side of the cockpit somewhere. happens when I start cold and dark at the ramp and never stops. It doesn't happen all the time, only some times and I can't seem to turn it off, only happens in Russian FC3 birds and 25T. Anybody else getting this?

The vibration is actually caused by transverse flow effect not translational lift which people assume because they happen so close to one another. Transverse flow effect happens just before effective translational lift on takeoff and just after when landing. People might find it interesting to know hopefully.

I set up my joystick again for FC3. The button presses were assigned to default setting such a centre view, laser on etc... But when I manually assigned them to what I wanted I was not notified of anything conflicting. So before if I assigned button 3 to weapon launch and it was used by default for centre view then it would clear centre view and replace it with weapons launch. But now it's keeping both and i'v to manually go through to find the other button that it is set to by default and clear it.

I just tested on some roofs and ground effect is indeed missing,(at least on this particular roof) I set up the approach slight decent rate got to the roof expecting to hit the cushion but never happened, kept the same decent rate until I landed. Edit: The ground effect is there, me not noticing it first time was caused by the height of the building putting me off as my references were different. My decent rates increased unknowns to me.

Like the title, i'd like to see the smoke from weapons being left behind as the aircraft flies, as it is `now the smoke sticks to the airframe until you stop firing, it doesn't leave a trail behind the aircraft.

I'm using a linear profile for the collective too, I'm also using 75% saturation on anti-torque pedals until i'm able to hover consistently.

When I was young I would have used the game mode as I wouldn't have really understood the principles of helicopter flying. We all need to start somewhere. I voted for Sim mode too, but I feel there are many looking down their noses at the game mode, think of the bigger picture, Everybody is not the same skill/experience for sim mode right away.

Go into controls, axis assign, rudder, then press the accelerator and then the brake and you will assign these pedals as your rudder pedals. I think what your after is the show controls perhaps, press RCtrl+ Enter, this will bring up the controls view. Hope this is what you were after? Damn too late :) Press right shift + k for the map, use the square brackets to cycle between pages and RCtrl + K to show your location at a given instant

Sorry I never meant to mean lower quality, I have the Huey and I agree it's amazing quality and well worth the DCS pedigree It seems that 3rd party are taking a while to get used to DCS, so an internal aircraft should have a quicker time to market.

O yes!! If the 27 is also internal, I may never leave the house with all these aircraft coming out! My love affair with ED and DCS is getting out of control :megalol:

Is it just me or is it easier to fly the Huey without trim? I have far more control over the heli if I don't trim her, only thing is it's quite tiring
