Hi! In general it is worth to consider that the AI in most cases will show caution and not display Rambo attitude. There are some steps you can take to increase their aggression levels, however. To really help answer your questions it will be useful with some more information about the context, since different configurations and situations will yield different behaviour. What units are you using, what are their taskings, how are you making them attack the enemy?

Point values/ Rates of units as related to Mission Score

As there seems to exist no readily available list of the point value of the various units in the game as related to the Score you will receive for killing them, and I was stupid enough to ask for one, it fell upon me to compile it. All information is gathered from the .lua files in the \DCS World\Scripts\Database subdirectories, and the rates values and naming information found within. The list is manually created, and as such it is not unlikely that I have made typos and/ or oversights. Should you find any such, I would appreciate it if you pointed them out. The list is current as of the time of writing of this post. Hi! Does there exist some kind of chart or table that shows the Point value of each particular entity in the game, or at least the majority of them? When I say point value I mean the score that you get from killing them, in case that wasn't clear. I could've sworn I saw a similar request on the forums a while back, but I'm unable to find anything through search.

you can't start your engines without the APU on though, can you? seeing as they use bleed air from the APU, whatever that means -
If we get a viper module I will cry tears of joy. Hornet would be fine too I suppose :) As for effects, the new ones look really good but I have to agree with most of the points of the OP. (G)round impacts from small arms fire look ridiculous now, and dropping more than one cbu-87 at the same time will kill my fps for a good 5-10 seconds. Like literally, I'll get between 1 and 5 FPS on my rig that is still reasonably respectable. And let's not mention MLRS

I took a look at the skill settings of the groups, seems correct. Tried to launch the mission and it worked as it should. How exactly are you launching the mission?

ehehe, priceless You absolutely have to get TrackIR if you fly DCS A-10. There is no way around it - the difference really is that big. Try it for one flight and you'll know what I mean. I'm PMing you the link to a good retailer in Norway.

Most people (including myself) are probably too busy with FC3 to have noticed yet :) -
Exact same issue here, Win7, GeForce GTX580, all drivers up to date. In DCSW options, turning off Aero desktop (the windows interface) did nothing. Solution for me was to not play in fullscreen mode, I took no noticeable performance hit and the problem is completely gone.

Can I already uninstall the non-DCS-World BS2 and A-10C?

You can safely uninstall everything! Keep in mind, however; if you need to reinstall FC3 for some reason, you will need to have some previous iteration of Lock On installed to activate it (due to Ubisoft owning the rights to the franchise as I understand it). As for BS1 & 2 and A-10C they are completely integrated with DCS World, and there is no longer any reason to have the standalone clients unless you want to keep them around for legacy reasons (?). -
:thumbup: SOLUTION :thumbup: I managed to get Fog of War functionality for my mission in multiplayer! (well more of a workaround, really) Apparently, just check the "Enforce" box for F-10 view options (even if all the options are indeed greyed out) then save your mission. Whenever you open the mission options screen it will appear as if nothing's changed, but this succeeded in enabling fog of war for me. Alternatively, open your mission file (the .miz) with your compression utility of choice (winrar worked just fine), then open the file named 'options' within the archive (wordpad worked fine and gave correct layout). Locate the line that looks like so; ["optionsView"] = "optview_all", change it 'till it looks like so; ["optionsView"] = "optview_allies", save the file update the archive launch DCSW and off you go :pilotfly:

Well looking through the options-file in the .miz-archive for the mission I found this line: ["optionsView"] = "optview_all",I suppose this is the setting to change, does anyone know what it would look like if the option was set to Fog of War? EDIT: There is also an option, upon closer inspection, like so; ["f10_awacs"] = true, Changing it to false did nothing, however. At least for multiplayer. Does anyone have a mission in which they can confirm that Fog of War works _in multiplayer_ with the latest patch?!

Hi! For some reason, with the newest update, I can't enforce fog of war in the map options of the mission editor. I can check the "Enforce"-box for F10 view options, but all the options are greyed out. Fog of war then doesn't work neither in SP nor MP with my missions. Any ideas?

Indeed, checking the left box means you enforce for all clients the option you select with the right box. Unfortunately you can't check the right box without first checking the left EDIT: Actually, I just noticed this - You can first check the enforce box on the left, then check the box on the right, then _uncheck_ the enforce box and the one on the right will stay checked. I've no idea if this amounts to a solution but I suppose it's worth a try :)

It's a little back-and-forth, to be honest. As you've noticed the main difference (as far as I know) is what triggers are available and the number of players involved. In single-player mode you have access to things like the 'on take control' event, the 'set failure' options, the 'read cockpit argument' conditions etc, so it's easier to make a narrative and/ or manipulate the player aircraft (as opposed to the client aircraft in multiplayer, for which you do not have these options). In multiplayer you have ... well... Load mission :) (And most importantly, more players!)
