  1. Hi I had two crashes on M2000 in different servers exactly when an enemy or a friendly fires a Missile on Me with locked radar Log..
  2. I was flying normally then FPS went to 15, so I crashed, then exited the servier.. tried joining again but stuck loading scrren. Forced quit. Now I try to join and doesnt even load, but I see myself In the player list So I guess its a ghost
  3. Well, wake turbulance is caused by wingtip vortices and/or jetwash so it has to do with "turbulent" air. Right know wind and Wind Movement its a simple vector in DCS. AFAIK, Direction and speed. You can have up to 4 different leyers of this at different altitudes. you have and option of "turbulence" on dcs but this is more of a Gimmick than a real simulation of turbulance. Currently "Turbulence" in DCS its the same as "wake Turbulance on BMS" they are just a "lets shake your plane for the fun of it" So he is refering to the Weather Engine needing a Complete overhaul to actually create a Turbulence effect more realistic than just lets shake the plane. Now this is far easier said than done.. in my experience creating a realistic weather simulation its as hard if not harder than creating a realistic F-18 but with DCS leaving the "combat" behind and more acrobatic/civil planes comming maybe in a few years we can have all those really fun weather effect we are hoping for!
  4. Hi, in 2.5, we are getting up to 30 seconds lag in clients when a simple Mig21 its late activated by a Group in Zone Trigger. The host doesnt see any lag, Clients freeze for like 15-30 seconds
  5. Hi, great Server, but an Issue with Mirage Waypoints, 1 its Bulls Eye, but 2 doesnt belong to Sochi, and 3 doesnt appear at all. Could you check this. thanks!
  6. ohhhhh finally people that understand my #52 biggest complain in DCS... I wish we had a round globe simulated (like FSX) with our terrain maps added to it, so you could fly from Nevada map to Caucasus map. All the other parts of the globe not included in your Terrain Modules could be the lowest resolution possible (theres free mesh aviable and couple textures here and there) SO you could be expanding your High definition terrains one by one. I know this will never happen as this means a total rework on DCS world, but It would be nice.. Sometimes I wish ED wasnt stuck with the "old" code so that we could have easier improvments on all those areas nobody pays attention (weather, long range flying, ATC, etc..
  7. 80 ?! Thats cheap.. the other f18 by that other company modeled for that other civilian sim y cant talk about here cost over 100 bucks.. And just last week i tried to reinstall it to get ready for the dcs f18 and it turns out mu license expires every 3 years.. So yep. $80 for a newer better f18 its ok. Is it expensive.. yeah. Is it worth it? Ill guess thats up to you. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the fun times, Me and my friends at BOE-117- will miss picking up supplies, explosives and rescuing pilots Thanks!
  9. Las keys estan unidas a las especificacione de tu hardwere. eso se guarda en el registro. Pregunta.. Reinstalaste Windows desde Cero? (como debe ser)
  10. Its time and money, but the whole idea of having a "Free Base game" its great, you can fly the SU25T and P51D Civilian for free, and I know a lot of people have started with this free packs and move up to buy the entire ED/3rd party fleet and maps. So showing a 5 year old map and textures its not the best try before buy idea, im sure all the work done on the free caucasus will show up later with other maps. And personally I dont agree with you, we have only the caucasus map, for the last 9 years, I know the caucasus better than my own country at this point, so if they decided to charge for the upgrade my entire clan will riot, as they are expecting ED to put all the work on pushing Nevada and Normandy out of Alpha and or release Hormuz. so charging for a not asked upgrade (tought welcomed) on a map that we cant wait to move away from its not the best Public Relations idea.
  11. Yea, this sucks, I wish they saved for future use. Also I wish you could add WP (not part of a Flightplan) via Mission editor.
  12. havent tested it, but im sure the real G430 is not made NVG friendly
  13. As much as i would like vapor to appear over a wing im pretty sure it would be just a gimmick as the wing tip vapor is right now, I rather much prefer to have "humidity" simulated in game. Currently we have Temperature, Altitude, Wind simulated. But lacking Humidity we wont have realistic wing vapour, wing tip contrails and my most important and missing feature in climate Icing Conditions.
  14. Thanks for the great effort keep on going! I know it can be frustrating working on such a complex mission later to be broken by some patch, but remember you make a lot of pilots happy! thanks!
  15. yes, it stays up for a little while around 600C then its goes to zero ill say about 10 min.. Im not sure if this instrument should stay on even with battery off but Im guessing it should not
  16. Yep, Red Side helicopters delivery MOS and CAR are down :( Still Great Fun, Thanks!
  17. This is what your looking for https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=118175&highlight=Radar+Script http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/IADScript_Documentation This script makes sams more (inteligent) your able to turn off radar and the wey they search engage enemies. This is an old Script and im not sure if still works on todays version. The use of zones to activate deactivate AI seems great and straight forward, but time consuming.
  18. two night in a row server has been extremly laggy
  19. Dude its in Alpha state.. not even beta...
  20. maybe a heart attack to the copilot once he realized what he did, specially what he did in a Soviet heli? Jokes aside, Ive activated the extinguishers more times than you think, im sure american engineers have more than 2 safety systems all dedicated to not extinguish while testing on their own nimble helis
  21. Yep, keeping some power on the engine is more than enough to avoid schock cooling, now for the 220 limit on the cowl flpas, 220 wind its more than enough to keep your engine cool, P47 is far more forgiving than you think. That big radial engines gets cooles quite easily (as long as you have airspeed) I would be more worried about overspeed and elevator compresability before shock cooling the engine
  22. Yes... you have Two throttles, one is your regular throttle (Right one) and the other is the turbo (left side) So you use your right lever to fly low level lets say 0 Ft up to 15000 (dont recall the exact number) but somwhere around there. As higher you go, air is less dense, less O2 entering the engine so at one point you have your throttle lever all the way up and the engine as you go higher starts losing MP. so its time to reach for the left lever, and start spoling up the turbo wich compresses air and increases your MP, so lets say you enter combat at 25000 ft, you are only going to use your turbo lever as your regular lever its already max up. (and you will use your turbo lever as a regular throttle) (it doesnt have higher or lower setting) A big NO NO its to have the Turbo lever Higher than your "regular" lever Example cruising at 25000 ft witch turbo lets say half way up.. and suddenly pull the regular all the way back, in this case the turbo will blow up! and bye bye turbo so for descent from hight altitudes you reduce gradually your Turbo and when it reaches all the way back you go back to use your regular lever In some models there was a little mechanism that joined both levers as one, so that at higher altitudes you could use the turbo lever wihtout never worring about lowering the wrong lever. least they both where at the same place. The P-51 all of this its automatic with only Two turbo settings, Low and High. In the P47D you get all the range in the lever
  23. great trick, just a remainder, this only works as long as Pressure stays the same on all DCS Map (static weather), if using Dynamic Weather, Pressure changes and what was your ASL at airfield may not be the same 50 miles out. JTAC should be improved by giving you the pressure at the target.
