  1. Not possible in the AJS-37 afaik. Only one ground attack weapon can be loaded at any time. The only exception to that are the gunpods.
  2. Thanks for all the feedback! Appreciated! @sobe Will try to fix it soon! The next video is up as well: Showing the BK 90 - Standoff Munition Dispenser Enjoy! :joystick:
  3. Hi, I am currently working on a couple of video tutorials for the AJS-37. I will upate this list as more tutorials have been made. Hope you guys can learn something! First look, startup and takeoff! Basic overview of the navigation system! Mission: Download Using the RB 04E Anti-Ship Weapon! 4. Englisch: The tracks are not useless. There can be problems from time to time, however more often than not they work as intended, especially for short flights. I also don't think that the track recordings are at fault for bad performance. The data that is written should not be too difficult for your drive to handle.
  5. Well, then your problem is somewhere else. With the affinity set, 1.5 is perfectly smooth on my end.
  6. No, this problem can be easily solved by setting the CPU affinity. Has nothing to do with the new graphics engine.
  7. I updated to 1003 before installing Windows. Had some problems with the OC but got it working in the end. 1003 being buggy would explain that. Damn you ASUS, great hardware, shitty software. Not sure if that is related to the CPU Affinity Mask for a single program though.
  8. Hmm weird. Could it be CPU throttling? Or TurboBoost disabling briefly due to the max timer running down?
  9. Yeah looks good to me as well. You won't see the reflection of the sun if you are not looking towards the sun with water inbetween.
  10. No, nothing like that. Happened on two fresh Windows installation with noting but necessary drivers installed.
  11. A brilliant new year to you all! This is going to be a good year!
  12. Thanks a bunch for sharing this! Very intresting!
  13. Yes. However, this problem occured on a fresh windows install without any overclock applied. Downclocking to default values does not change anything as well. It is the CPU affinity setting that causes this problem for me as well as several other users.
  14. You could try to limit the fps to 30 manually? Either by using the graphic's card control panel (don't know that works for AMD though) or by setting DCS itselfe to 30fps maximum. See here how you can do that: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=118535&highlight=CPU+AFFINITY
  15. Thanks for the input, will do some more testing on my end as well. Well, you didn't watch the video did you? Could be that the problem for the stutters you get is something else. Do you have DCS on an SSD?
  16. Just to finish this up: Setting the CPU affinity to more than one core got rid of the problem. You can see that here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=180025 The only question that remains is why DCS was set to only use one core. Over at reddit some people confirmed that their DCS was also set to only use one core instead of all, which is apparently the default for most people. Maybe something the team can look into?
  17. Not sure about that. Probably leave that at normal if you don't want to run into weird problems.
  18. Looks like log attachment didn't work.
  19. Excellent! I couldn't find this information while looking for my problem. Will add an annotation to the video!
  20. Hi guys, I was having some trouble (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178985) with my upgraded PC build and spent a week or two investigating why I am getting stutters and sometimes worse performance than before: For anyone not wanting to watch the video: Problem: Stutters ingame even if DCS is installed on a SSD and the system is way above minimum spec. Likely cause: Basically DCS seems to be hogging down one CPU core and is ignoring all the others which can cause performance issues like I was experiencing. Solution: (1) When DCS is running bring up the Task Manager and go to "Details". (2) Find the DCS.exe and right-click. (3) Click on "Set Affinity". (4) Select more cores than the default threads. You can either go for all of them or set one per actual core (e.g: every second one on the list). (5) Click on okay and go back to DCS. Unfortunatly you have to do this every time you start DCS. Apparently there are some programs out there that can set the "CPU Affinity" automatically for you. Haven't tried any yet, so I can't recommend one! Hope this helps for at least some of you! Best regards, John
  21. No throttling is allready a good sing. Did you also tick the box for the GPU as well? That should put your system under a very high load condition and if it does not crash after 20 minutes it basically means that both temperatures and power are good.
  22. Not free. Download AIDA64. It has a free trail version. Run the Stresstest. It will show if the CPU is throttling.
  23. After some testing, with the latest 1.5 update the stuttering seemed to have gotten even worse...
  24. RAM usage isn't working like that. If you have 16GB of RAM DCS will use up less than if you have 32GB. Textures and other stuff is loaded into the RAM when necessary, and deleted once no longer necessary or replaced when new data is loaded. However, if you have plenty of RAM the systems goes: "Well, I will hold onto that, might need it later!", therefore the more RAM you have the more usage you will see. However, if for example you have only 8GB of RAM, the system will delete files that are needed again a couple of seconds later, to create room for new stuff. Once it needs those files again it has to load them from your drive again, which is slow and causes performance issues.
