  1. No, I wasn't even going through the track. I jumped into the A-10, tryed something with the zoom, and then watched the AI for a few minutes with F2 and F6. After a few minute I came across that bomb. Ther was no time acceleration used.
  2. Hi, I initially wanted to test something but ended up watching the AI fighting. After a few minutes I came across this: At about 25000 knots, that GBU is breaking all the world speed records I know of. Viva la France! You can see that GBU-38 doing its thing at about 18:15:00 time in the track (just watch it for 2 minutes, you will get there). I know this is not important, nor gamebraking. I found it funny and so I decided to report it. Best regards, Jonathan HighSpeedGBU38.trk
  3. Today I have version 0.0.2 for you. You can download it here. Changelog: New: -Map Items: >Lines >Arrows Changed: -Tooltip window now opens in the middle of the application window and not on the mouse pointer. Fixes: -Preventing crash for clients if host placed a unit directly on meridian. This is just a quick update and mostly result of todays work. There is much more I want to implement, but that's what I could come up with for now. I hope you like it. Feedback is appriciated! Best regards, Jonathan PS: You can find some more explanation about the new controls in the first post in a few minutes.
  4. Some more work and version 0.0.2 will be ready! Best regards, Jonathan
  5. Hi, Thanks! I noticed that also, and it is annoying. I will try to sort that problem out. Good point! Will be fixed in the next update. That's what I am currently working on. I hope to release a update with those features in the next few days! Best regards, Jonathan
  6. Hi, Thanks for your feedback! Yes, I agree with you. I definatelly want to include that, as I wrote earlier: As said, this version is an alpha and only contains the basic stuff. I am working on additional stuff, but it is time consuming. I do what I can to include more features as soon as possible, but the day has only 24 hours. ;) Best regards, Jonathan
  7. Okay thanks for your commen! That makes sense. I flew zick-zack patterns into enemy terrain and "spotted" several groups. As I was on my way out I could see artilery explosions on the groups I have flown past earlier. Also everything clear now about the FOs. I expected some sort of message where to place them, but it makes sense that you can deploy them at any location you want to spot enemies. Thanks! Jonathan
  8. Hi, I just tested the mission for a brief time alone, and it looks very good. It feels imersive! Just a short question: -On the first task, to locate enemy targets. How to do that? Do I have to mark these targets somehow, or is there another way to locate them? The Tornados didn't help either, as they got attacked by SA-6. -Do I have to place the FOs at a special place, or just anywhere near enemy units? Thanks, John
  9. Black magic. :music_whistling: But seriously, I am doing that over a server. Your session is stored on there and if the clients enter the session name, the session will be loaded from the server.
  10. Hi, Yes that is definatelly on my To-Do-List, however it will take some time.
  11. Anyone intrested in a external free application doing that, click here.

  13. Awsome video though!
  14. A external approach could look something like this: :smilewink:
  15. I can live with speed and altitude as imperial units. Speed doesn't really matter anyways, if the HUD shows 180 knots or 330 km/h doesn't make much of a change, does it? Calculating knots to km/h is fairly easy. Multiply by two (and subtract 10%). Its definatelly arguable about altitudes, but I personally never found myselfe in the situation where I would have needed the altimeter to show meters. Else deviding feet by 3 will do the job. With distances its similar with speed. Better have the same units for both, else it will just get confusing. The nautical units have settled in aviation in many countries and probably won't leave us too quickly. We will have to live with that. On the other hand, the imperial system is just redicolous. Kilograms, Liters, Celsius and also the Meter make much more sense in my eyes and are definatelly the way to go!
  16. I was thinking about doing something like that myself some time ago. It would definatelly a large project and would take some time. Especially with my C# skills. But it is definatelly doable.
  17. Good explenation. Take the Boeing 377 (Stratocruiser) as an example, which had some very large piston engines. It had a water injection to cool the engines during takeoff and other high power flight stages. If you wouldn't turn on the water injection, and firewall the throttles than it would automatically inject much more fuel than necessary. This is a waste of fuel, but it protects the engines from overheat.
  18. Oh, is it football season again? :D
  19. There is not really the need for one, as long as you don't give so much throttle that the prop can reach the desired rpm. Because, as long as the prop is spinning slower than you set with the rpm lever, the rpm of the prop will change withe throttle and not with bladepitch. If you do that mag test with full power you won't notice any rpm drop, as the governor will correct the rpm drop. If you move the prop lever all the way forward, and then increase the throttle until the rpm is 2300, the rpm will drop when you do the mag test, as the governor can not correct the rpm drop.
  20. Those are pneumatic brakes. ;)
  21. I bought myselfe a new laptop for work. It has windows 8 on it, and now I updated it to 8.1. I haven't found any way to disable that app sandbox at all. You still ocasionally will get there. The startbuton itselfe will also bring you there. Only if you right click it, you get some tiny menu with some options. By the way. I couldn't upgrade to 8.1 without creating an Windows Live account (or however it is called). I couldn't find a way arround it. I removed it after installing. Personally I hate Windows 8 and 8.1. If you can stick to Windows 7, I don't think it is worth upgrading.
  22. Yeah, I would also like a solution to that. It is realy anoying, I am missing so much stuff right now, as it will just be ticked off as read after a short time.
  23. I find that they actually fired and missed against a stationary helicotper very impressive. Obviously I can't judge if that is all real and what the exact conditions where, but if that system works like that in a real war against real enemies, than it's even better! Thanks for posting!
  24. The whole thing seems to be still WIP. At least I never managed to cut the engine with the throttle.
