Die C00..005 Fehlermeldung nach Abstürtzen trat bei mir auch häufig auf. Nachdem ich SweetFX entfernt hatte, hat es sich auch mit den Abstürzen erledigt. Generell wären zur Problemfindung noch deine Systemdaten und installierten Mods intressant. Beste Grüße, Jonathan

The fix is you getting a better PC! I couldn't resist. :D No, but I assume there will be some improvements. For the beginning try to turn of the mirrors. They are causing the biggest performance hit for me.

Yes. I would recommend TeamSpeak though because it is more stable than Skype. It's also free and easier to set up. ;)

Basically there are several planes you can buy for DCS. -Su-25T - Comes with DCS and is free, but just very basic -A-10C Warthog - Fully realistic simulation. Needs lots of time to be learned. -Ka-50 BlackShark - Same as the A-10. -P-51D Mustang- Same as A-10. Altough piston aircraft with less systems. -Uh-1H and Mi-8 helicopters. Hi Kenneth, Wenn die Su-25 halbwegs läuft nehm ich mal an das die A-10 und der Ka-50 auch halbwegs laufen werden. Es ist aber schon mit geringeren frames zu rechnen. Die TV Zielsuchanlagen (TGP, Shkavl) sind auch eine zusätzliche Belastung fürs System. Ich hab nur einen 24 Zoll Monitor und kann daher nur wenig zu Multi-Monitor-Setups sagen. Soweit ich weiß kostet der vierte Monitor aber so viel Leistung, weil DCS zwei mal soviel rendert als wie bei 3 Monitoren. Die Multi-Monitor Experten können dir aber sicher bei der Sache besser weiterhelfen als ich. ;) Grüße, Jonathan

That would help us helping you. -What aircraft do you have and want instructions for? -Do you have a microphone which you can use with teamspeak? -What time do you fly at? I feel your pain. SweetFX is really nice. It's very unfortunate that it causes those crashes on only some systems, as not everybody seems to suffer from that problem. I am not sure what's exactly causing the crash. Maybe it is some incompability with some driver, or some hardware. I personally never really started to try to locate and fix the problem with SweetFX. However, if you can find the cause and a fix for it, feel free to share it, as it would be very appricated. :) Best regards, John

Hi, Just some quick guesses: - Datacable not plugged in properly into SSD. - Datacable not plugged in properly into mainboard. - Powercable not plugged in properly into SSD. - Powercable not plugged in properly into SSD. -> Check if connectors are plugged in properly. - Damaged datacable. - Damaged powercable. -> Check cable and try to replace it with another cable if possible. - Damaged port on SSD. - Damaged port on mainboard. -> Try to use another port if available. That could be some of the mechanical reasons why it doesn't show up. I asume there are plenty more software side reasons why it doesn't show up all the time. I don't know any unfortunatly. I run DCS just fine on 8 GBs of RAM all day long. However, I see that you using SweetFX. I had that for a brief period and it looked nice, however at one point I removed it from my DCS because it caused crashes on my system. I would suggest you remove it too, and do some flights. If your game still crashes, SweetFX isn't the cause, if it doesn't crash anymore, you found your problem! Best regards, Jonathan

Hi Steff, The rearming window can be openend with the key command. On the german keyboard layout it is LAlt + Ä. It is diffrent on the english keyboards, and I assume it is also diffrent in your french keyboard. Can you try to open that window with LAlt + Key wich is two key to the right of your L key? The copilot in the Huey is speaking to you? It can't speak as far as I know. Do you mean the radio? Then thats normal, because the allies in your mission are eventually russian. John

You are talking about video recording software? I found a pretty good one some time ago. It isn't to system demanding and it's free, so you might give it a try. It is called Open Brodcaster Software. You can get it from here. As the name suggests, it is made for video streaming, but it can record to disk too! Note: By default the quality is low, as it's purpose is for streaming, but you can turn the quality up as much as you like.

Hi folks, As the EDGE release is not to far away (or at least not as far away as yesterday) I am considiering to upgrade my rig. As far as I understood, EDGE should benefit from SLI. Right? So I am looking at an additional GTX 780, to be operated with my current 780 in SLI. Would youg guys recommend a graphic card update to a SLI configuration? I understand that EDGE isn't out yet, and so nobody really knows it's hardware usage. I am just curious about your thoughts! Best regards, Jonathan

You can try it, but it maybe will mess things up. If you try to move the whole C:/ over to the new drive, that can cause big problems. If you just try to move DCS over to the new drive, you can try to use the migration tool. However, chances are high that some path / registry is messed up. I would recommend to reinstall DCS in this case to the new drive. It doesn't take to long and is the better method in my opinion. Best regards, Jonathan

I think they changed the name of that axis, but I will have to doublecheck that in the evening. It might be called "throttle" now.

I rather prefer them to stick to helicopters than starting to develop sceneries. You have to understand that just because you can make a helicotper you can make a new map. I would love Belsimtek to continue on helicopters, and someone else do the terrain.
