As far as I remember trim is assigned to HAT1 with ctrl held. Since I dont need the views I re-assigned to straight HAT1 without the modifier. I remember a similar issue for me in which some how the right rudder was being involved. Can't remember the specifics or what I did to fix it but I suggest you look through the controller assignments and see if anything is amiss with rudder axis. Out

Windows 8 Consumer preview- Don't waste your time
PoleCat replied to Slayer's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
That was a simply spot on analysis IMHO. Much of Vista's perceived issues were a lack of hardware driver support on release from many major manufacturers. There was very poor coordination in this regard which led to widespread compatibility problems and dissatisfaction at launch and well beyond. Once these things were sorted it was too late. Once you muster a little patience to learn you will see that Windows 8 CP is not that bad at all and not all that different from Windows 7 under the hood. Metro is a little confusing at first but it can be used in place of the start menu and you can add and launch what ever applications you like from it. There are some core changes such as file copy/rename improvements and an overhauled task manager in this new OS as well. "Change has no constituents". Out -

Tm warthog bricked...how to fix
PoleCat replied to hreich's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
If you really want to argue the past I can say the same about the quality of the many Cougars I have owned and come in contact with. That CH doesn't have failures is pure propaganda. Ever been to the CH hangar before? Have a look here... http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?14-Hardware-Help lots of problems listed there huh? Your as accurate as FOX news with your incessant critisisms of Thrustmaster. Some one could easily do the same with CH eh? I suspect and hope most people can see right through it by now though. :P Out -
Tm warthog bricked...how to fix
PoleCat replied to hreich's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I have had not one single issue with my WH just like the vast majority of WH owners. LOL yes stick with your 9 dollar 20 year old joystick and your CH then. The Warthog eats them for breakfast though. Out -
Tm warthog bricked...how to fix
PoleCat replied to hreich's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I wonder if CH covers shipping on returns. I doubt it. It is not usual and customary to do so and TM can hardly be held to a standard that no one else adheres to. It is nice to hear that TM covered it any way though. Just goes to show you that they do in fact stand behind their products. :D Out -
I just pull my chair in pretty close to my gaming desk and I am able to lean against the back of the seat without issue. I am doing my best to see that future DCS titles are supported. The initial post at the ivibe forums states that FC3 will indeed be supported. Out

"For now the Lua support gives us better telemetry but we are working with DCS to give us a better native intellivibe data set so intellivibe can do many more things. Hopefully this will be completed sooner rather than later. We will of course keep you posted!" Also the sound driven feature that drives the seat just like a buttkicker is not far off from what I read. Much more to come from this product. Out

The seat is a flexible fabric material with the FFB actuators set in pockets within the seat. The seat folds in the middle between back and seat sections so you unfold and place in your existing chair or cockpit. You can actually sqeeze it in to slightly tighter spaces if needed because as I said it is a flexible fabric material and can bend a bit. I had mine at one time in an Akers barnes pit of standard dimensions. I now have it just sitting in my office chair. It is comfortable enough that I do not need to remove it at all when not in use. Seat section The half under your ass = Aproximately 20" (50.8cm) wide and 17" (43.18cm) deep. Back Section The half you lean your back against = Aproximately 20" (50.8cm) wide and 18.5" (46.99cm) tall and it tapers inward at the top of the back. Hope this is helpful. Out

Congratulations to all who have purchased the TFS3! I have been shouting about this thing for years just hoping more people would listen. I am stoked for those of you that can now feel the power of the TFS3. In relation to flight sims the TFS3 is to your ass, back and legs what a HOTAS and rudders are to your hands and feet, a TIR is to your eyes, and a sound sound card is to your ears. :D Ivibe TFS3 Flight simulation Immersion factor increase +2 ;) Out

They are ready to ship but still in the early rollout and release candidate testing phases. If you order them they will come. As to the upgrades I purchased mine over four years ago as the TFS2. I have recieved every upgrade since absolutely free of charge. Who else does that? Completely new controller for TFS3 for free not a TFS2 version upgrade. They can be slow responding but they are only two people trying to make a go of it. The TFS3 is a device with incredible potential for our genre and worth the cost of admission twice over even at this early stage IMHO. Out

any 2gb hd 6870 users ? Worth the savings?

Both AMD and Nvidia make excellent graphics cards. The crown for performance moves back and forth between them as it should. Neither is better only different. I use both for different reasons. Out -
Nice one....can't wait. Out

Yes, quite right sorry. The usb port is used for communication with the PC only and the actuators are driven by the controller box which uses AC power. I updated my original response with the correct answer. (Thank you) Out

1. Yes 2. Yes Flight Sim X and FS9 are both supported check the ivibe forums for details. 3. I think it should have the latest version of the firmware in the device. Even if it is not the latest it is a simple procedure to update the firmware. The control panel v 1.7 you mention is software you will need to install on the PC. 4. No manual but there is a lot of information available on the web site forums and the device is not too difficult to use or tweak. I hope these answers were helpful to you. :) Out

There is a good chance that this card simply failed. Unless......If you are using the latest beta CATs I read that they are clocking the card too high by default. Revert and test again if this is the case. Best of luck. I am sure you can RMA if you need to. I always go with EVGA for my Nvidia cards as they have a lifetime transferable warranty on their cards as well as a good step up program. I have stayed away from other brands as EVGA has very good quality cards and they back them up with the longest warranty. I don't think they sell ATI though. A shame. Out

The motors are powered by the controller box which uses AC power. USB is used fro communication with the PC. Yes I am not sure it does. I notice no difference. Out

Use the actual mic switch up DX button as the push to talk. Dont remap it to a key. Set it in TS. I use the Paddle (S4). Out

Dude, Best of luck getting in touch with him. I and many others have managed to do so as I told you before. When/if you do you can pass on your own apology/sarcasm if you want to. I am busy enjoying my TFS3. But don't worry I am sure you will be able to get in touch with him.........:D Out
