This is also incorrect. There is fact based professional journalism still alive and well all over the USA it is just nowhere near found on FOX. There is no other network even close to this bad. It is kind of funny because it is always this network that is calling people socialists and Nazis and for some reason the propaganda it produces is closer than any other network in the USA to the type of propaganda spewed by Hitler’s Nazi Germany against the Jews. I disagree. The TARGET software allows for all of the same types of button presses and creates files that while completely different are very similar in output to good old Foxy files. In addition to this the script editor is very powerful and can do all manner of very advanced progamming. More so than Foxy. Out

If you use the default config for A10C it leaves mic switch up, mic switch push, and S4 (Paddle) available for use. I use TS push to talk on paddle, recenter TIR on mic switch up, and pause TIR on mic switch push. You can use these free buttons for VAC, TS, TIR etc. Also the slider on the throttle is good for zoom. The WH has got you covered man. Perfect. Enjoy it! :thumbup: Out

Totally worth it if you are careful on price vs capacity. I opted for two 128GB SSD drives which I use in RAID0 for a 250GB disk array. These were not the newest gen nor the best models but after rebate they were just over 1 dollar per Gig and the performance difference is like night and day. Mechanicals suck compared to SSD! I will never go back. Huge bottleneck removed. OS loads and all apps launches are much faster. Game launches and level loads are much faster. Installations of apps and games are also much faster. I do use a second RAID0 mechanical drive array for whatever I deem not worthy of install on the SSD array and misc static data. In my case I have had zero reliablility issues. Best of luck. Out

This is like saying that a rolls royce and a hyundai both have four wheels so they offer you the same ride. The CH may have the same number of hats and switches that the WH does but the hats and switches on the WH are of superior quality to the CH. CH users always post of durability and value. Both strong points of this HOTAS, and I can't deny the awesome programming capabilities of the CH. But you really have to leave it there because if you begin to have a discussion about materials, construction, mass, feel, and authenticity of design there is certainly no comparison to the Warthog. (I also like the Cougar better than the CH for mostly the same reasons). The CH is great and reliable as hell. A really decent old HOTAS but it does not compare at all to the WH. Completely different species. Try them and see. Out

There is no comparison to the Warthog with any of the other HOTAS systems mentioned here in my opinion. The X-52 and 52 pro are decent quality HOTAS systems as is the CH. These are indeed well proven and less costly but older in design and concept. The WH is a cut above them in almost every area and it logically costs a bit more. Once you put your hands on a WH I believe you will understand and feel the difference immediately. I would be willing to bet you would be drawn right to it over any of the others regardless. The WH simply kicks ass. Out

From the choices presented clearly the WH is the best IMO. Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS There are however some concerns; Reported "stickiness", could someone explain this further? Jagged axis? (No such problem with mine). May need to be lubed up (harr) several times per month (?) (No such problem with mine). May die if used without firmware update. (So obviously you should update the firmware as soon as you get it). Price!!! (You get what you pay for!) No rudder pedals included, adding signifficantly to the already high cost. (Again, you get what you pay for. Add rudders if you want them.) Obvious choice for DCS A-10C, not so obvious for other titles (even other current and future DCS titles). (A good choice for everything else too. I am using mine for IL2 Clod and X3 Albion as well as DCS titles and I am very happy with it). Best of luck! Enjoy what ever you decide to get. Out

At a minimum I would say Windows 7 Pro x64 if you are an enthusiast. Otherwise take your pick of the x64 versions keeping in mind the memory limits. Out

Never seen that problem either. Sounds like you have had real issues with getting peripheral hardware to run correctly on your machine for a while now, HOTAS, TIR5 etc. I hope some one can help you get it sorted out soon. :) Best of luck. Out
