Will there be a roadmap posted for 2022?

I mentioned it because there was speculation about the CT and CR versions.

Hi. Just downloaded the latest patch for stable and noticed a sound issue. Some cockpit sounds can now be clearly heard in external view like the warning tone, the trim tone, and the gear warning tone. Perhaps others. Even with the canopy closed. Thx.

To reaffirm their plans, Aerges posted the following in the comments section of their trailer video ... "We are doing initially Mirage F1CE in Early Access, then EE, BE and M."

I've always felt Aviodev / Aerges has always been a little bit in the shade unfortunately. I think there's been one ED video over the years with a brief glimpse of a C-101. Just my observation.

Where do you get dynamic campaign from that video?

I'm wondering if that could be used for dropping LGBs. It would seem difficult since the rangefinder is only forward facing. It's probably used more like how the SU-25 uses it. For actual range finding, not spotting (talking about guns / bombs / rockets not missiles). Anyway, this is all speculation right now.

No one will really know until Aerges clarifies it. But it would be an odd decision to tease these variants and not follow through on it knowing how much people are following this project.

Gazelle has 4 variants so not totally unheard of.

Although I don't think trainers are a necessary stepping stone to the more sophisticated modules, I think they are useful for honing basic flying skills. FWIW, I have the C-101 and probably fly it more than any other module.

I believe Nineline said somewhere that the moving clouds video is not demonstrating dynamic weather. Just simply that the clouds will move with the wind as the old clouds did.

Ya, they should work like clouds but I also definitely care how they look.

This already exists in other modules so the support should be there.

No, it doesn't have NVGs but I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a mod for it. I don't believe it is super difficult. The C-101 doesn't have illumination bombs but it does have illumination rockets. Takes practice to place them where you want them though. Well, night attack ... you might be expecting a little too much out of this little bird. But first, I would say you need a moon lit night. Then I would say use a combination of flying away from radio beacons and using landmarks.

I'm not a fly-by-the-book kind of guy at all but what trouble are you having with night flying? I don't typically fly by waypoints since the waypoints would have to be over easily identifiable land marks. I just use the radio beacons like TACAN, VOR, and ADF.

Yes. It was brought up as an issue after the C-101CC was released.

The rear-aspects are fine. The problem is that the all-aspect AIM-9M (and the Magic) behaves like a rear-aspect. And you also have to get very close to get a lock tone. Maybe not the biggest issue in the world for the C-101 but in the F-1, I think it would be undesirable.

For me, one of the most important issues is getting the IR missiles working properly. Where rear-aspect missiles act like rear-aspect and all-aspect missiles act like all-aspect. This is still an issue in the C-101 and I know it has something to do with a DCS limitation with mixed IR capabilities but I hope they can find a way around it. This concern came to mind when they mentioned in the stream that the F-1 can carry a number of AIM-9 variants.

That would definitely be new. I've been waiting years for spotlights to be reflected on water. Nice to hear that they've finally implemented it.
