Garrya, while i commend you on using reason; your sane responses are falling on deaf ears. Weta is anti US anything, and hummingbird has shown himself to be very anti F-35. So any 'bad' news against the F-35 is good news to them. Not surprising that they are backing a fake story to fit their agenda.

There's no way you could buy 2 Su-57's for a single F-35. I can't believe people seriously think the PAK-FA is gonna cost 50 million...

Any idea on how many AH-64E's have this, Sound (or Heli)? Just the ones based in the Iraq/Syrian region?

Or maybe, just maybe the higher tempos between North Korea and China is waning on the crew of these boats, thus causing these issues. Could be alot of factors. I'd wait to see the full review before jumping to conclusions.

That is indeed no surprise. It was coming whether they were at fault or not. When you have that kind of job, you have to be accountable for everything on that boat. That's just a sad fact. Hopefully people realize being in these kind of positions is important and shouldn't be taken for granted..

And yet the US pilots who fight the F-22 say alot about TVC in a negative way when it's used against them in a dogfight. But because it's American pilots saying that, it's discarded and not used as facts by people like you.

You're probably right for a slick Viper. But a slicked Viper isn't going to win you many war competitions, unless it's guns only :D. I think a guy over at F-16.net said (and proved with calculations, i believe) the F-35 out accelerates the Su-27 in subsonic regime, but i could be mistaken, Garrya might know.

As Sweep mentioned, the F-35 has alot of volume in fuel. Just to put it in perspective, the F-35A carries 18,000 lb which is near the empty total weight of an early block f-16.

Sounds like to me that the WVR "losses" weren't actual dogfights, from what he said. So i don't see how this relates with maneuverability being a problem as critics have pointed out. What pilots have you heard talking about the aircraft being bad in WVR? the few i've read said it has more nose pointing capability than the F-16, which allows you more options in the WVR regime...
